'yes, please do go back there.. it's a fascinating place and to think it was so secretive and out-of-bounds.. love all those old electrical machines with the screens/scopes.. what have they been used for? 'Yes, please return when you have more time!
Absolutely agree - it's such a fascinating and mysterious place! Those old machines with the screens and scopes are a real vintage highlight, and they might have been used for monitoring or communications back in the day. We'll try to make a return and dive deeper into the history and technology hidden there. Thanks for the encouragement!
We 110% NEED a much longer video on this place! Even revisit the gems you showed here but in longer detail. What an amazing place, thank you for sharing.
We also love exploring former Soviet sites - they have such a unique history and atmosphere. However, many of the Soviet-era structures we've encountered have unfortunately been completely destroyed and are often covered in graffiti. It's a bit of a different vibe compared to some of the more untouched locations. But we’ll definitely keep hunting for more of these fascinating places!
As a scientist, I understand the reason that historically, everything was left there, but those chemicals should be catalogued and stored somewhere safe. Depending on the seals and conditions some of it may still be usable. As for the glassware... Most of it still looks great. After some cleaning, muffling, and autoclaving, I know tons of scientists who still use ancient glassware as the stuff is expensive.
You're right, it’s surprising how much personal stuff gets left behind. It’s likely due to the unexpected nature of the abandonment, leaving everything in a rush. As for the glassware, it's great to know that with proper care, it can still be useful! What a shame it just sits there for decades on end...
Welcome to Slovakia, which is technically more a central Europe then eastern. This plant was obviously abandoned in 2004-2005 as per extinquisher label.
@@bwturbex Not being a chemist, I really don't know. But I've no doubt someone more qualified will jump at some point and chime in. Hopefully. Also, being Soviet era, God only knows what else they might have been doing there alongside the chemical research. And a lot documentation was either lost or destroyed in the post-fall chaos. I do know they are often used in biochemistry before all the purpose built equipment we're used to now was a thing. Your basic heartbeat monitor is really just a purpose built oscilloscope. But what else they were used for besides that is well and truly outside my sphere of knowledge on the subject. All I can say is that I wasn't surprised to see them there. Or the function generator sitting on a shelf. I think I saw a lab grade bench multimeter too? Not sure as I can't make even a half-a**ed guess at anything written in the Cyrillic alphabet.

It's amazing people left personal belongings like photographs behind. Most of those gas masks look like US version of M17 gas masks that have been around since the 1960s. I used the M40 when I was in in the 1990s. The activated charcoal canister filters last practically forever sealed in a can until they are open, then they are only good for filtering harmful chemicals for a month or two. They're still good for filtering out CS gas, and other non life threatening gasses. Those masks are salvageable/serviceable if the rubber isn't chalky or crumbling. So, if you go back and think you might be in an area with hazardous chemicals, black mold. You have safety equipment just waiting for you to use. The canisters look like old olive drab or black cans that are the same diameter of the filter and about 4" tall that has a metal key that used to be common on old canned meats (Ham...) you could buy in a grocery store.
Thanks for the detailed info - that’s fascinating! It’s incredible how durable some of that equipment still is after all this time. The history behind those gas masks is amazing, and it’s good to know they could potentially still be functional with proper filters. Makes us wonder what other hidden gems like that might still be waiting in places like this.
Yes, it really might be worth it! But we were just stopping there on our way to more freaking cool abandoned places we're going to feature in the next couple of videos. Stay tuned!

Finally UA-cam makes a good suggestion. Love urban exploration videos. Granted, we only saw a small slice of it, but I don’t think any of those buildings would be worth saving. Too expensive to clean up and verify they’re safe.

this place is massive! would love to see more but wouldn't want you guys to be hurt in any way. Aren't there still bad chemicals all over the place? Ya'll are the best!
Thank you so much for your concern and support! 🖤 As for the chemicals, we’re always cautious and assess the risks before entering such places. Most of the dangerous substances are long gone, but we do encounter traces that remind us to be careful, like sealed containers or lingering smells.
For most urbex is about the decay of indoor rooms or even the outdoors, but To me seeing abandonment places is more as about having an idea of what it would have been like when those building were operational and this offers that in plenty!
That's such a fascinating perspective, and I completely agree! Exploring these places is like stepping into a time capsule - it sparks the imagination about how life once was when the buildings were bustling with activity. It's incredible how much history and atmosphere still linger in these spaces. What's your favorite place so far?
@@bwturbex From your channel is when you visit abandoned homes and you read some of the letters and "Solve the mystery" (or try to), of what happened to the owners and find some pictures of what kind of lives they had... That's fascinating! Having said thoguht building like the ones in video had lots left and gave good glimpse of the past! The Soviet bunker was very interesting too and was so preserved you guys spent the night there! Amazing!
That place is massive, so I think another visit there is on the list. Perhaps it would be possible to explore the living quarters of the people who worked in that nightmare of a place. Great photography as always. This is also due to you all being slim and agile and being able to wriggle through the tiniest hole like little mice. 👍👍👍
It was such a pain to get inside these buildings! But it was totally worth it. Going back for another exploration would also be definietly worth it because there's so much more to see and find out.
Thanks for your comment. This bunker in our next video is absolutely crazy! We're already working on that video, and we're planning to release it on December 15th.
My boys! I feel like I've neglected you all! I'm glad I ordered the new calendar a few weeks back. I still look forward to joining you all on my adventures, either during or after my PhD work on the paranormal experience and liminal realities of imaginal projection (not the real name of the work, but an approximation for UA-cam).
Yes, same here! Too bad we don't upload much of them because these industrial videos usually don't perform as good. But this one just had to be posted!
Tremendo!! Disfruten ustedes!! Excelente video (muy corto por cierto)
Hello from Sweden. Please go back and continue exploring that place.. So fascinating with these abandoned ex Russian secret plant's off all kind. Love your video's. ❤😊😮
Any abandoned amusement parks by any chance? If you're hunting for something different, I mean. Even so, this latest adventure deserves a revisit... or three.
Abandoned amusement parks would be such a unique adventure! But it's not as easy here in Europe. We'll definitely keep that in mind as a potential location for the future - just imagine the atmosphere of decaying rides and overgrown paths!
Sorry, mate! The days are just way too short right now, and we needed proper daylight for filming. Using flashlights would’ve risked us getting caught. But you’re absolutely right-this place definitely deserves a second visit!
it's amazing how they just leave these places with everything there... it's shocking how they were doing highly questionable experiments yet had pictures of their family
That must of been quite an important plant just imagine the investment from the state for something this large but then these would of been all over the old soviet union and eastern bloc countries hopefully you can go back there because theres so much more to explore..all of those glass pippets tens of thousands 🤯 WOW Great explore but dangerous masks maybe whilst walking around 👍🏴

Incredible!!!!
Yea... mind-blowing experience. What did you enjoy the most about this video?
Estou ansioso pro próximo vídeo. Adoro vídeo de bunkers
Thanks for your comment. This bunker in our next video is absolutely crazy! We're already working on that video, and we're planning to release it on December 15th.
This place was amazing! Such great decay with so much left and untouched. Please go back ❤
Please go back it's amazing
I love industrial abandoned places!❤
Yes, same here! Too bad we don't upload much of them because these industrial videos usually don't perform as good. But this one just had to be posted!
Definitely go back and do more of this place seems very interesting
Thanks so much for sharing your song for this production! 🖤
Tremendo!!
Disfruten ustedes!!
Excelente video (muy corto por cierto)
Go back the Soviet era stuff is awesome. Thanks for doing that stuff
Amazing as always !! ❤❤❤❤
Much appreciate it! What was your favorite part of the video?
Hello from Sweden.
Please go back and continue exploring that place.. So fascinating with these abandoned ex Russian secret plant's off all kind.
Love your video's.
❤😊😮
So wonderful
Yes please, go back!
Maybe we aim our return for a different season! When there's snow or when everything is green because nature returns after a long winter!
@@bwturbex Both would be very beautiful. It would be a tough call choosing one over the other.
While i enjoy all of your videos, sometimes you come out with an absolute gem, hope you go back
Conteúdo excelente como sempre ❤
Thanks for watching, and how cool is that to have an audience from all around the globe!
Please keep digging in and exploring it.
Great explore this. But it felt too short. Like there should be a part two or three. A site this big, you must have got more footage?
Sorry, mate! The days are just way too short right now, and we needed proper daylight for filming. Using flashlights would’ve risked us getting caught. But you’re absolutely right-this place definitely deserves a second visit!
@@bwturbex I get that. Still good content though. Keep safe.
it's amazing how they just leave these places with everything there... it's shocking how they were doing highly questionable experiments yet had pictures of their family
Wow guys 😮 what a place.
Wow!!! Unreal ❤
Great , i love it.
Cheers! What kind of abandoned places should we explore in future videos?
Tolle Location.... Der Feuerlöscher kommt aus Neuruppin, mein Heimat Ort. 👌🏻
What city is the factory??
I don’t think I’ve seen so much glass at one place. I am so used to seeing plastic litter.
Short but good.
Next one will be short, too. But even more interesting!
This is so cool
That Sea Shepherd jacket looks comfy and warm
Hell yeah, that jacket is amazing! Fully vegan made, too.
This is all? would love too see more if possible. Next time if you are back in that area.
Klasse...✌️👍👍👍
Explore more!!!!
BWT, EWF, AWE, TSV, and PD Should do a collaboration together because is something all the groups like
What's the other groups?
@bwturbex Exploring with Fighters, Awesome World Explorer, The Secret Vault, Proven Demons, I missed one Exploring with Josh
It's incredible to think places like this were once common across the Eastern bloc. And the sheer scale of what was left behind!
It Is Sad They Left Behind Some Staff Sad Abandon Place Feel Like Going Back In Time 🇺🇸💪🏻🪖
Any idea what could be done with all of the old stuff left behind in these places?
Hello BWT I like industial areas. Please show us more.
I would love a signed calendar if you did that for extra cost
We're going to sign it for free. Did you order already? What's your order number? Thanks for your support!

sorry order # is 2265
Got it!
