Driving my 03 Monte Carlo ls with the xentec 15k any questions please ask, I made this video to show what these look like at night and also to show the accel of my car.
@fishhead1227 Nice car, you should put a video up of it. MIne are holding up great, no problems at all. If you buy them, make sure you get a relay harness, so you get power for the headlights directly from the battery, they will work better. Mine has a 3400, it's an LS (base model) but its pretty well loaded still with power windows, locks, etc.
@terminatorhavok Yea I would say about the same. When I first turn them on they look really blue. Once they are warmed up and I'm up close to them they look kinda white with some blue, but when I drive pass other cars I can see a lot of blue reflecting off their car. They are really blue compared to my 10k's. So far I've had 6k, 8k, 10k, 12, 15k, and green.
I just installed 15k yesterday. The visibility is okay, not as good as my 8k's, but damn the look is nice. I most likely won't be doing any driving on country roads and in the rain.
@hanrickjones well its not too bad, reason is mostly because this video is on a hilly road, if I were to do it on a flat road then the highlights would be pointed up more, so it would get more distance. These are also my low beam headlights, my high beams go out very far
Looks good, super bright. I have a '72 Monte Carlo(1st gen) and just put in a 7" housing with an H4 lamp. I am looking at the Xentec right now with the hi/low beam for $65. It's been about a year since you posted this, how are they holding up? BTW, I have a video of acceleration with my car too running the 1/4 mile, of course, it is not highly modded, just mostly stock on a nearly 2 ton chassis so don't expect a 13 second pass. What size engine does yours have, 3800 series or 3100?
@15BUITRE You sound like me. I can't keep one temperature installed for too long before I get bored. Green was really cool. I wouldn't mind getting purple. Who's your HID guy? Mine is some dude on eBay, skmotors888.
@terminatorhavok Surprisingly no. I had them for about two months with no problems. All I got was weird looks from everybody. Did you get your 15K from eBay for $15.99?
@MrDjhercule yeah they flash good on the signs and lines on the road. Is that what your asking? They also really make your car stand out!

@hanrickjones they are aligned to factory requirements.

@MrYungBalboa the only place I know of to buy them at is Ebay.
She still has some pep in this video, quite a bit quieter than mine, mine is loud as hell at 5K.

@Mr2002MustangGT very nice, does your color temp look about the same as mine?
