My mom has been a thrift store, garage sale, and goodwill shopper for many years. She loves to collect beautiful wood carvings and antiques from around the world. Today, I show you some of her favorite collections and help her with an exciting DIY crane wallpaper mural for her kitchen!

The glass cabachon item is an old gas light. I have one that has been electrified. Mine is brass. Now and then I find one for sale on EBay, They sell for around a thousand dollars. The glass is sometimes called gypsy glass. I noticed it in your TRL video and was so happy your Mom got it.

Selena, this was the best video, ever !! All your videos are great but this had such home appeal!! Your Mother’s house had such fabulous decor. And don’t mention that wall both of you put together!! The Murel is really beautiful, and doing fun things with your mom…..priceless….I love my daughter and have so many good times together, we went to Ireland together about 6 years ago on a self guided tour of the south and West side of the country, it was wonderful. I drove she navigated, we laughed throughout the country, made some great discoveries about our ancestors, and ate like queens, had a couple of beers at a pub as well, listening to the folk music there, it was beautiful. 🥰🥰

Thank you for sharing this beautiful day with your mom. I had a black and white tuxedo Boston terroir like your mom . She was 15 year’s old and loved her. 3 years ago I had to let her go as she had cancer, blind and lost her hearing . Broke my heart. I would like one like your Millie. You’re so lucky to have your mom. My mom passed away in 1986. Keep making your vlogss they’re so much fun. Wish I still lived in Washington so I could go to your and Laurie’s shop.

I just love you and your mom. I feel a connection to you all after I heard you mention that you had cancer before. My daughter is one year out from a stem cell transplant and two year cancer journey . Lots of hugs to you and your mom .
You and your mom is like me and mom used to be, we was always thrifting, and yard sales!! But, now she had dementia and had to go to a nursing home and I miss our weekend junking around. We found alot of pretty things through the years!! Appreciate your mom while you two can still hangout together!! Mommy doesn't even look like herself, it brings me to tears when I see her.

Selena, loved how you 2 applied the paper of those tropical birds on the foam then added bamboo. It looks so tropical and matches with the 2 pictures framed of parrots. Lovely! Also one more thing," The watermelon colored blouse your Mom was wearing is a delicious color and style and it compliments your Mom's skin. You 2 work and create great together!

Love all her finds especially her wall of wooden masks (I have a paper mache mask I made over 45 years ago in school, it's kinda tribal looking and I love it , but your mom's masks are awesome.) Thanks to mom sharing her home with us. When I was much younger, I loved rearranging furniture. Now I find my favorite room arrangement and it stays. Except for decorative pieces.

Love the African vibes, and all the unique stuff that you impliment on your walls. Making a frame from the wood of your property is something I would do. My husband has a unbelievable piece of walnut from a felled walnut tree off his parents property just waiting for inspiration.
