The hunt is real! I spend hours and hours each week, combing through thrift stores, Yard Sales, estate sales, auctions, flea markets & Antique centers ... to bring home the goods and prepare them for selling in my Ebay store, my antique booth and on Facebook Marketplace, which fully supports me.

You put back the framed cat! Bad idea. People would have ignored the matting colors for the fact that this was done in Counted Cross Stitch. It took many, many hours to complete!
I will actually buy the whole thing just to get the cross stitch. I donate the frame back.
Sell the cat unframed and also those mats can be painted any color with craft paints. I have painted my fair share of mats.

Those half shade table lamps are great for narrow long tables placed behind the couch against the wall. I have that set up in my living room. It provides great reading light sitting on the couch, character, a table top to add interesting pieces too without hogging up a narrower room floorspace.
I agree, the half lamp shades are neat and are a space saver. Very European.

The half lamp shades are correct. Those lamps usually sell for $50-$80 each. Gives you more table space since lamp can fit closer to the wall. The dog doorstop is a Boston Terrier along with the planter you put back. That had value...I believe that is Betty Boops dog, Pudgy. I'd have taken the needlework cat out of the frame and sold it that way. It would sell, cats are so popular right now. Owls are making another comeback too. Not sure about buying that framed print with the white circular mat...it's pretty common but I'm guessing you checked comps
Does it look like the nutcracker with the price sticker on its face has the nose missing?
The nutcracker with the black fuzzy hat has no nose. That's why they put the price tag there.

Looked to me that the nose would be painted on, but with the sticker there, it does seem they covered the damage.

I have found a lot of beaded animals in thrift stores, rhinoceros, elephant, giraffe, and I am sure they are from South Africa. That little doggy was adorable.
Started with clothes too. The older I get the more I source vintage hard goods. In other words: the older I get, the harder I get! 😂

I just saw a lady in my small town Arizona GW, she was comping, so I asked her if she was a reseller, she said yes. I asked her if she ever watched Lavender Clothesline and she said oh yes, love her! I am not a reseller but I love GW. I see lots of stuff that you likely would pick up, but of course too far. :-)

The Rhogam mugs could be old when the drug came out. Rhogam is given to pregnant women who are a negative blood type. If the fetus and mother’s blood would mix it could cause complications in either the mother or fetus I believe. I am B negative blood type so I’ve had rhogam during both my pregnancies.

How true! Our goodwill prices in California are outrageous. Senior Tuesdays are only 10% off, color of the week items are pulled off the racks by staff before you can get to them and we NEVER have half off or $2.00 sales. 😢

@@gloriadewitt1354 The matte was TOO dark. And too HUGE. The art had too much negative space. The background was a dull color. The cats had no "sparkle", no life. . It was bland. At best.

Drug advertising on a mug is quite common. Drug reps used to give them to staff at hospitals/doctors etc. mom was a medical secretary for 30 years. Our house had lots of them xx
We used to give them out in clinical trials meetings and as gifts to the investigators, site staff and subjects, but that stopped years ago bc of legislature outlawing what was termed "incentives".
They are actually in demand right now. All that swag has stopped. Any mugs with drug names are popular, the older the better, of course.

It’s funny that you only buy mugs in sets. When I list mugs I always list them as quantity and I’ve always sold them individually no one has ordered more than one
That has always seemed odd to me, as well...
There are lots of people out there who only want ONE mug of a design, type, or style, not four - either because they simply like it or because they are trying to replace one they broke.
I think you should consider that.
Whilel you were looking at Vera bags, there was a NY Knicks pullover sweatshirt that looked new. Too bad Roger wasn't there.

I agree with you discarding the cat picture. I Love the beaded dog and many other finds in the video. Thank Roger for spending a few minutes with my mother and her sister at rt 30. She was in Lancaster for the show. We came up in May and didn’t run into you two so she is bragging that she spoke to Roger. Lol. No worries she is 84. 🤣

The picture of Jesus is when he walked on the water, I'm sure. Love your videos. I've been watching every one for about 2 1/2 years. I especially love the ones with Roger in them. So happy for you both. Today I especially loved the Indiana mug and the Covered Bridge picture. Not sure if you picked up the mug. I'm from Indiana originally and we had a lot of covered bridges in the area where I lived. You and Roger work so hard. We do not have good thrift stores here in the Kansas City, MO area. I've watched you for a couple of years, and even more since you have Roger on your team. The two of you find such good stuff and seem to have so much fun. I have one request. Please search for a few new adjectives. I guess my ADHD checks in, and if I were a drinker, I'd make a drinking game of how many times "sweet" is the descriptive word. Now I don't like shoulder straps on bags. I like a handle, and the bag must be stiff enough to stand up on its own, and preferably the hands mustn't flop down. If there are tiny feet underneath to protect the bag that's even better.
You're just like my cousin; she likes structured bags too. They're much easier to get in and out of.
I have quirks regarding the various characteristics found in handbags!
I don't like front flaps that cover the opening and don't stay "up" so that you can get into the interior of the bag.

Those lamps with the half shades are for hallway tables where you dont have alot of passing room. Ive had them before. They work out great.

The dog door stop may be a French Bulldog. French Bulldog's are chubbier all around. Their face, body and legs. Frenchie's also have round ear tips. Boston Terrier's are thinner with more lanky legs. But have the same squished adorable face. A Boston Terrier's ears are pointed at the tip. Triangular.

I can't believe she put it back. I loved it. I kind of get a little upset when people put Jesus pictures back on shelf cause they dont get it or understand it, but plenty of us do and would like to have a place to buy them.
Resellers here at bins, thrift stores are horrible, I've seen them take stuff out of others carts, at bins they are rude , glad to see you are polite

The beaded dog is hand made in south Africa or Kenya, no two are ever the same. I have a collection of beaded giraffes , zebras, lions etc, they are NOT cheap items.
