Un vrai rêve de gosse de devenir pilote ou même steward... Je suis passionné d'aviation.
Excellentes vidéos !! Bravo !
Merci beaucoup pour votre message 🙂 joyeuses fêtes 🎄🎁
My God the pilot is so calm landing that beast. I'd be freaking out.
And they’d be freaking out doing something you routinely do.
Ya people that think like you will never be pilots. Sorry, someone had to tell you.
@@thelastrebelshow1627 When I need your opinion I'll give it to you.
@@tymartin1508 You can’t even get a sentence correct, you probably can’t even drive a car let alone an airplane. Go freak out.
😂🤣😂
@@chipurBillWhite I routinely take a dump, would that freak em out? 😂🤣😂

one of the most amazing and outstanding videos of flights and detailed. AMAZING omly if you can put taxi chat and your taxi as well before the video ends please.
Thanks for your message! Always a pleasure to read positive feedback 😊 yes I'll try to put more taxi next time 😉 (not the next cause the video is already mounted but after!)
Sweet landing 👌👌
Thanks 🙏
Your channel is amazing! I thought it was crazy when the controller asked if you had the field in sight at 15 miles out and there was a cloud layer between you and the field. Can't the controller see the clouds? And that sleigh....he was definitely on a VFR flight plan and busted the Bravo airspace. I hope tower had a phone number for him. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and to all of your colleagues at Air France, thank you for uploading these incredible videos.
Thank you for your comment ☺️ it's always a pleasure to read positive message like yours about my work!! Merry Christmas to you too 🎄
No, Approach (TRACON) and Center (ARTCC) controllers are in dark rooms deep inside dedicated buildings far away from airports (usually, sometimes TRACON is on the airport but still in a dark room), and can't see anything at all other than a radar screen. It is entirely up to pilots to confirm or deny "in sight". Note that, at one point, the Skywest behind them is asked "in sight?" to which Skywest replied "negative, in clouds", followed later by "in sight".
Tower and ground are on the airport proper and can see outside, but they're well after the approach is established by the Approach controller.
Depends on what type of airport, for LAX, this is probably very true. My airport, a class C however, has approach and departure up in the actual tower with the tower and ground folks
@@UnshavenStatueyeah I’m like 90% sure that SoCal Approach is in the San Diego area. I could be wrong tho
Well, isn’t this a nice channel! Subscribed!
The AIR TRAFFIC CONTROLLERS are simply amazing. Heroes all of them. How on earth they keep this alls traight is beyond me. There really should be some documentary of who these fine men and women are xxxxx
Wow 🤩 ! Interesting ! Do you often get asked if you have another "plane in sight" ? Maybe "your" Santa Claus should book a flight to be on time 😉. Thanks for the videos. Amazing as usual. Merry Christmas🎅
Thanks for your positive message 🙏😊 yes, this happens sometime! Glad you had seen Santa Claus 😅 Merry Christmas too 🎄🙂
Thank you for these videos, I'm currently attending a CFR part 141 school and videos like these just give me the motivation needed to keep on pushing.

@@INZEAIR84 Your welcome 🙏
Loved it.
Thanks 🙏
Great video!
TKS 😊
I fly on the 320 out of LAX (Tom Bradley West). Some differences are interesting. We put the lowest altitude (2200’) when cleared for the approach (ILS 24R). Safe flying!
Thanks, you too ✈️
Aire France flight. Love LAX air port
Very nice!
Thanks 🙏
Superbe ! 👍
Merci 🙏
Hey.. That house down there. That's me... HELLO!...
There's a pretty good chance I heard you fly over us..
Cool you saw your house in my video 👍😉 thanks for your comment 🙏
Just like the arrival recently into NY, the video was fabulous! Thank for uploading for us to see. Two questions: 1) don't you have to inform the controller that you have the rwy in sight before a visual approach clearance is issued? 2) when descending from 10,000 to 4000ft, what is your typical descent rate? Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!!
Hi! Thanks for your com!! Yes we have to by in sight if the airfield before accepting a visual approach and from 10000 to 4000 it depend of our speed and if we have to descend rapidly or not. Typically it's smthg like 1000 to 2000ft/min
Excellent video. Can I ask you to include taxiing to your stand in your videos in a normal speed with voice? Love to see them
Ok, I'll let taxi to the gate in the next video 😉
@@INZEAIR84 Merci beaucoup chef !
Great video. I didn't realize the FAA had renamed 2 fixes after Kobe Bryant and his daughter. Also enjoyed seeing the old flight practice area just south of DECOR along the 60 Freeway.
Thanks for your message 🙂
@@INZEAIR84 I think I need to fly AF! :) Oui?
Ahah, yes! I think too ^^
🤩🤩🤩🤩👍👌🍾🍾
epic!!
Thank you 👍
When you're arriving to LA,and see the 405 freeway, that time you're beginning to stress out!!😢😢😢
Who else here is a writer who came here to get accurate ATC dialogue?
Thanks for showing us SoFi Stadium!! I'll be getting off here, have tickets for the game, if you'll just be so kind as to open the door for me, I'll take my parachute and have good day!! Whoopiiiiiiii
😂 you're welcome! Ok for the parachute but just aim well ^^
I like these free takeoffs and landings and we don't even need to buy a ticket.
Enjoy then 😉
just found out about navigation fix KOBEE
one of the coolest salutes from the authorities i ever heard of
kudos to everyone involved.✌

Another great Video Captain and great job on the video editing. What editing software are using?. I use Final Cut Pro X and not very happy with it.
Thanks for your message 😉 I'm using Lumafusion on iPad, and I do all the mounting, the UA-cam upload, etc. with the iPad! Thumbnails are edited with Snapseed like my Instagram pics!
Amazing! Keeps me motivated for the last bits of my pilot training!
Just out of curiosity: Are you allowed to fly raw data?
Cheers and merry Christmas! :D
Thanks for your positive comment and good luck for your training 👍 in the major part of the world we need to be rnav equiped but sometimes and/or in some specific circumstances of degraded equipment we can fly raw data.
Merry Christmas to you too 🎁🎄
@@INZEAIR84 Merci beaucoup !
Do you follow the flap extension speeds near the landing gear lever, or on the airspeed ribbon?
9:02 😆🎄👍
Was that a go-around on 24L as you were on AA? That plane seemed high for a takeoff and landing gear was already retracted.
I’ve been watching your videos for so long and I really admire the work that you put into the videos. I was just wondering if you could put the landing speed of the plane in the captions! I think it would be a really nice addition to these amazing videos!
Thanks for your positive message 🙏 good idea to approach speed, few videos are already edited but I'll put it on the next one 😉👍
I can’t wait to see it! I was just curious about something though. In 2021 I took AF639 from KIAH-LFPG. After the flight I asked the pilots for the approach speed. They told me that for a 777-300 It’s usually no less than 145 knots and that for this flight it was 147 knots. My question is what is the average approach speed that you usually use for the 777-300?
That's right! Approach speed generally varies between 145 and 150kt! It depends on the aircraft landing weight and the landing configuration (flaps 30, 25 or 20)
I really appreciate you replying to my questions and suggestions! I just have one last question. When you are on approach to any airport, on the PFD there is a localizer and glide slope section in the PFD and it helps the pilots to let them know if they need to go a little to the left or right or up or down. My question is what is it called and how do the pilots make it appear on the PFD?

I fly this approach so many times in Flight Simulator 2020
The sled must have been VFR... Keep a sharp look out. Merry Xmass
good to see a very nice manual approach - too many pilots [ahem Asian pilots] are using automated approaches these days
Thanks for your comment my friend 🙏
Please change the music. Flying is mellow, smooth. Would love to hear something like that.

The communications can get problematic... Report the field in sight and acknowledged but Socal Approach then clears them for the visual before the field in sight. Neither side seemed to catch that... Then, of course, the funny "right on AA". SMH. Nice video.
When was this which date and year?
This flight path is incredible to see. Anywhere from North OC, since I was a child you could see a line of planes running from Yorba Linda all the way to approximately where the video begins, Big Bear. The first time I saw it, I thought there's no way those are all planes. Now living near La Habra Heights I can still see the trail, now I can see another, where it intersects coming off of the Ocean up Beach Blvd to Whittier.
Btw, can anyone answer this... Whenever I am hiking in the hills below this pattern I hear this incredible sound. The only way I can describe it is what I would imagine the sound of coming out of hyper drive or something. It literally sounds like either the plane is really putting on the brakes or whatever would cause what sounds like a whoosh before settling to the consistent sound of the plane just cruising at a low speed. This never happens when I see a plane take off, this never happens when a plane cruises over my home. I only hear it when I am in the hills directly beneath them and one sneaks up on me. I don't always hear it either, so it seems like I am hearing something triggered by the pilots. Does anyone have any idea what I am talking about?
In fact I believe the pilot is near where I hear it in Rowland or Hacienda Heights, I noticed he hit Flaps 1 probably right over West Covina and the 60 fwy, and that is about parallel to where I hear it. Or possibly at Flaps 5. The sound only lasts for a second.
Thanks for your post 🙏
I think this sound you hear sometimes could possibly be the speedbrakes cause on this approach we often need it.
Speedbrakes are controls over the wings we can extend which destroy the wing lift and allow the aircraft to descend with a higher rate.
I think it could be that!
It’s interesting how ATC slows u down to less than 200 knots with more than 15 miles to go. I guess they do that for that separation? How far out before you are fully configured to land?
Yes, it's a way to separate the aircrafts, we have to be fully configured before reaching 1000' so 3nm from the rwy threshold.
