- Come along as my brother and I conquer the challenging airspace of LAX! We land at one of the worlds busiest airports VFR and bring you along every step of the way. ATC did a great job accommodating us in between all the heavies, hope you enjoy!

Controllers love pilots like you; no delay on the calls, crisp and clean read-backs, and able to hustle across an active runway without hesitation - the controller knew he could count on you to do that, that’s why he asked - if it was someone else, maybe not. Great video Owen! New subscriber.
Thank you! Appreciate it
ATCo from Europe here. You asked yourself, if ATC would prefere you flying IFR or VFR. When you have a slow aircraft between all the airliner jets, you want the slow aircraft as close as possible to the runway threshold, so when you turn the slow guy in, you block the final for the shortest time possible. The easiest way to do that, would be VFR. So yes: From my perspective as an approach controller, I would prefere VFR. Makes things much easier :-)
either way you have to sequence them unless you are relying upon visual separation. wake turbulence still exists.
I worked near LAX in the 1980s and watched planes from my office window. Smaller planes usually came in high but I never knew why. You explained at 16:40 that you were coming in high and landing long to stay above the previous plane's wake, which makes perfect sense and explains what I saw 40 years ago and didn't know the reason for. Thanks very much for a fine video.
I love the way Owen handles his calls. I can't imagine flying into LAX without experience. Calls between the ATC and pilots are a science into itself. Bravo on a great safe flight Owen.
This is a fine demonstration of how to clearly and concisely communicate with ATC.
Absolute wizard with the comms! Great video, looking forward to seeing more!
Couldn’t agree more
I came to the comments to say the same thing.
So much points of perfection 🥰
The next big aviation UA-camr 🔥🔥

Great video! Thanks for choosing Atlantic! I worked for them for 28 years.
Love Atlantic!
Sweet flight into LAX! Loved it!
Flying in this busy airspaces single pilot is gotta be one of best challenges one can do.
That’s for sure! Staying ahead of the airplane is key.
It's also very fun and satisfying when you're proficient.@@FlyWithOwen
Discovering your channel! Great job especially on the ground at LAX! Will catch you on your next flight. Happy blue skies. Greetings from Belgium
Regional rat here. Dude. Your comms and professionalism were surprising and refreshing. Usually it’s amateur hour in 91. Love the “position checks” call. No one bothers to do that anymore
Awesome video. You were so busy on taxi at LAX! Thanks for posting this.
Can’t wait to see more! You are a big inspiration!!
That was an awesome video! Can't wait to see more!
nice job.. crazy landing at lax....
Really impressive how you make and keep the read backs from your mind. I would have to write them down anyway. Beside this a real busy and stressing approach into KLAX. Thank's for letting us joining you!
Thanks!
Great job Owen and professional pilot flying
Great first video, really enjoyed it. Looking forward to more.

Very nice Owen - clean, crisp professional, this is how it's done!
New to flying the Conquest, thanks for a great orientation vid of how to "do it right"! Will be following you future vids closely.
Damn that was good! Two points...your experience just shines on this! Second, the torch has been passed. You're wearing the hoodie and Chris the cool printed collared button down 😀Just as life should be sir..... Clear skies🙏
Great job young man!!
Holy cow. Busy place. Fun watching you handle it all like a professional.
Appreciate that!
What an amazing experience that must have been! Great radio comms!
Thank you!
Awesome stuff
Great Video! I'm looking forward to making this same landing!!
I have found flying into KATL, that as a GA aircraft (I fly a Piper Dakota) that we just keep best forward speed and are able to slot us in pretty easy. I normally will file IFR and from the direction I typically arrive, I know I am probably getting 26R or 08L depending on winds (closest runway to Signature FBO to get me off the runway and out of the way of the big boys) and I will file to set me up for vectors to final pretty easy. The biggest thing is keeping track of all the frequencies (LOL).
Excellent radio communication!
Great video... love the professionalism's!!!!!
Much appreciated!
Enjoyed your video very much!!!
Fantastic Owen! Very nice video for sure. LAX is always fun. 😀
Great job & thx for the tutorial…..always helpful for VFR PPLs……😎👍🏼
Thanks for sharing, very nice!!
Awesome video. Great radio procedures. Just subscribed.
Enjoyed the vid…your competence is impressive…love the plane too
Thanks for the fun video, Owen. I'm retired from Southwest and haven't heard center conversation for quite a few years. I really enjoyed. I've flown that downwind many a time. Nice job on keeping your speed up. Good flying to you.
Thanks for watching!
very cool, can’t wait to be able to handle all of this workload!
Thanks!
Fantastic first video. Can't wait to see this channel "takeoff" in a big way. Now going to anxiously await the Kona flight in the G4.
Man that was awesome! Well done Owen. Lax is busy as hell hahaha
Well done Thank you!
Been following you for some time. Looking forward for more!
Awesome video! Glad to see you on UA-cam!
Nicely done. The Canadian CF18 jockeys in Discovery's Jetstream series made flying into LAX seem a nightmare but good brief comms and superb controllers made that seem a breeze.
Nicely done !
Awesome to see an approach and landing into LAX :D
Excellent video and a consummate professional behind the controls making it look easy!
Great channel! Just started following and waiting for you to get into a blimp for one of your flights!

That’s one of the best N#’s…..easy to say/annunciate and easy to understand.
Good Job.
