  • Review Of The 2011 Nissan Maxima SV 3.5L V6: Start Up, Exhaust, Test Drive & First Driving Impressions | Lawsons Car Reviews.
This car is quite fun to drive. It has some of the most comfortable Seats. The CVT transmission kind of sucks. All the car needs in my opinion is a different transmission and AWD and it would instantly become one of my top sedans if they can keep the price around what it is now.

It cool comparing this to the new one. The power over the years has stayed almost the same

Yeah they need to make a radical change though at this point before it gets too outdated

Nice car! Got the same one, 2011 max sv premium technology package. I love mine , I bought it in 2014 with only 9900 miles on it altogether for $33k . Best money I ever spent. I didn’t mind at all every month making that payment. I got only 71,000 miles on it now. I had a 2005 maxima that I drove over 3 hrs a day to work and had 220,000 miles on it before I had to get rid of it. They are great cars. I’m keeping mine as long as I can

Awesome. Would you get a new maxima when it's time for a new car?

@@LawsonsCarReviews I don’t really know if I would. I don’t care for the newer style that much. We might end up going with a used Lexus again. I got one in 2017 when my 05 max bit the dust and it’s a gs350 all wheel drive and it’s been a fantastic vehicle. My wife wants a suv again (we used to have pathfinders) so we might do the Lexus rx 350 or a 4Runner . I just don’t want to get into another payment again anytime soon

@@LawsonsCarReviews yeah it’s been good to us the 5 1/2 years we’ve owned it. My wife loves it and it’s a tank in the snow with the all wheel drive. She still gets compliments on it

There was a time when I was very interested in the Maxima SR (the new one). Even decided on Silver...but it just didn’t feel like a $40k car. 🤷🏻‍♂️

    • @LawsonsCarReviews

I can agree with that. I would not actually buy a new one personally. I'd get one a couple years old to avoid some of that depreciation. But for the right price I think it can be a great car. Gas milage is really good too.

I got mine 2009 SV fully loaded wit dual moon roof 156k miles for 4900$ very good condition and 1 owner beautiful white with spoiler . Owner took miraculous hood care of her and maintained the cvt fluid at Nissan and it’s all original only problems I ran into so far is bad starter , bad battery and coolant leak but I fixed all those and change my oil on time and it’s all good

It has 156 in a cvt with that many miles shouldn’t be driven like that.
