i have a 2012 maxima and it dont seem like there are a alot of choices aftermarket maybe 2 or 3 good ones other then just going your own custom route. I would not recommend just taking the mufflers off, you should at least get the pipes extended back away from the vehicle it should sound better and you wont have the fumes in the cabin. Any thoughts?

There is drown,. At higher speed, he would be better off with a cat delete and a resonator delete and put on Flow pro Max mufflers with stainless steel tips it would sound better..
@@boosted9319 Hey, As far as dependability I have had 0 Issues im on 95k but I'm Leary for 2 reasons .. I don't have the knowledge 2 fix it myself 2. Not wanting 2 spend the money .. But I personally think with That gen Maxima is one of the best looking Sedans that have came out .

Nice! I’ve got an 09 SV as my daily and i enjoy it. I bought it at 85k on the dash and now it’s still strong at 183k😃

It was literally free just to remove the mufflers. If you want to run a pipe out probably 100ish dollars.

Ryan Thomas it does have a drone at 60 and it’s not really loud enough cops to mess with you. It does have a drone around 60 though.

All I did was take the bolt out and remove the stock mufflers. Didn’t cost anything.

I did this to my 2012 Maxima and it actually does have a severe drone due to the cvt wanting to hang gears around 3k rpm.
alan eichelberger get pipes and run it out the back should take care of it.
