    Great video, only problem the black cap that goes on top of carb will not fit with carb suggested as on carb choke block installation. Other than that great video

    The cap that came off the old carb doesn’t fit over the built in choke , does that just get discarded

    Question. What if the return line is longer and touching the gas in the tank? Will this prevent it from working properly? I noticed on mine that the line with the filter is long and all the way at the bottom and the other one is not as long, but still touching the gas. Thanks!

    Okay I have a question I just replaced the carburetor on my my Backpack Blower my Husqvarna 150 BT with the carburetor set that you recommended from Amazon and I still don't get full throttle I don't understand what to do next

    • @smallengineguys
      @smallengineguys  Рік тому

      First is the throttle on the carb going full open. If not the cable probably slipped at the trigger.

      @@smallengineguys yes it is and still don't get full throttle

    • @smallengineguys
      @smallengineguys  Рік тому

      is it 1 or 2 adjustment screws. if 1 turn it clockwise a little at a time at full throttle till just before peak. if 2 its the screw closest to the air filter clockwise the same way

      double check the gasket is between the carb and the motor. make sure the isolator block between carb and motor is tight as well

    I have a 150bt with no spark. I checked the kill switch and it checks out. Also checked resistance through the spark plug it checks out. The coil checks out to. But I have been told sometime they are still bad. I can only find the OEM coil for $120. Have you found a replacement for less money?
    Thank you.

    • @smallengineguys
      @smallengineguys  3 роки тому

      no but it looks exactly like the pb250 echo coil but with a longer wire. i was going to try it one day and splice the old wire into it and see if it works. worth a shot at the price. amzn.to/33d6Klc

    I ordered the carb kit in your description before reading the reviews. It seems the kit includes a spark plug that doesnt fit. Also, do i leave the choke in the open position on the carb since we aren’t going to be using it?

    • @smallengineguys
      @smallengineguys  3 роки тому

      Wait. Husqvarna doesnt take a cj8? Pretty sure this is right plug. Also choke open or closed in storage doesnt matter if you have an air filter

    • @smallengineguys
      @smallengineguys  3 роки тому

      i use them all the time. i dont get them back unless they sit for a long time without use or rotten fuel is put in them. even then most of the time i only have to drain and put in fresh fuel and it is ready to go. i use around 10 amazon carbs a day 5 days a week i do get a bad one every couple of months but seems pretty rare.
