The laptop gpu naming that is just weird. This is a rtx 3050 laptop gpu with a cut down memory bandwith (64bit instead of 128bit). Still, if you can get this gpu in a laptop for a good price you have some solid performer for casual online games and older single player games. When it comes to more demanding titles you run quickly out of steam and may have to rely on upscaling to even be able to get decent fps. However still a good gpu if the price is right. And i have seen plenty of laptops for low price sporting this gpu. Incredible cheap entry level gaming.

Basically, if the hardware played the same games a few years ago, there is no big change during any year. There are rarely so big changes via game updates that it impacts performance negatively, quite the opposite, games get optimized :) Channels tend to show performance on the same games for many years in a row, depending on popularity. New AAA title being the exception.
I got 144 fps on Minecraft Java with Sodium. on 24 chunks btw, pretty sure you can go 32 chunks too. Got 100 fps, 16 chunks with BSL Shaders. Also keep in mind the cpu I have is weaker than in the vid he uses. So yeah pretty sure you could max out bedrock

I got 144 fps on Minecraft Java with Sodium. on 24 chunks btw, pretty sure you can go 32 chunks too.
Got 100 fps, 16 chunks with BSL Shaders.
Also keep in mind the cpu I have is weaker than in the vid he uses.
