@@CarmelaLicata It adds 3 branches from a bloom sight, and also if you cut or break a branch, it will send out 2 new branches from the cut. This is why they’re perfect for sharing.
Hi, a friend is bringing me a plumeria that she started. We are north of Atlanta, Woodstock/Roswell corridor. Can they survive our winters in the ground, or will they need to live in a pot forever?
@@nunya1432 I would probably keep it in a pot if I were you, it may get too cold for a plumeria in Northern Georgia. They can tolerate a cold night or two here in Tampa, but sustained cold temperatures can kill them.
My friend just gave me some cuttings. Can I still plant them now that we are close to fall season? Or do I put those sticks aside for spring to plant? I also live in Florida. Southwest Florida to be exact 9b zone.
I would plant them, we really don’t get cold enough to hurt them here in Central Florida. I like to start them in pots, when they get an established root I put them in the ground. Good luck!
You have a beautiful collection of plumeria.
I didn’t know that about the 3 new branches!! Good to know
