    I'm in Rockport, Texas zone 9b and I'm so glad I found your channel. Most garden youtubers are up north so it's hard to find plants that will hold up to our heat, humidity, and occasional hard freezes. We have it hard down here.

    I have two of the Hong Kong Orchid trees. I cut them down every year to keep it to medium size. Used to have one of the golden trumpet tree.

    Drooling. Just wish I lived in Florida. However, since I am in Alaska It was especially nice to look at all the trees I wish would grow here! Zone 5.

    Great video! Have you seen the ‘Big a pink’ cultivar of Queen’s Crape Myrtle? It is stunning. Also the light pink cultivar of jatropha is so pretty 💕

      @@LETSGROWGARDENDESIGN Thanks, Michael, I appreciate that very much. However, some of the trees I liked to have (Geiger tree) are rated 10B - 11 and my property is about 13 miles away from Zone 10B and it occasionally might get down to 30 degrees for 2 to 3 hours.

    I have a pink powder puff it also blooms in winter we are in December and mine is blooming the bees go crazy for it also the hummingbirds
