Mango is adorable! Im sure she loves her new cage. I'm getting a cockatiel in a few weeks and am currently working on restoring a cage I got for free on Craigslist. It's about the same size as yours but without the seed catcher. I got all the rust off and I'm painting it and sealing it with a nontoxic paint from Rustoleum.

Thanks for showing Mango's cage set up. What is the black tower to the right of the cage? Consider putting in a shelf that is flat. Sometimes bird's feet get tired. Keep posting about Mango
Pretty nice...we have a sun Conure also named Mango..His cage is similar, not quite as tall, he's about 3 years old now...ours could be yours twin brother. we love the dark orange colors that appear around his head, Nice birds..!

Wow I have a very similar cage to that one! We love it! I love the top part bc it gives them a place to land other then our heads lol!! I have two conures they are siblings and are inseparable! They actually have 3 cages there main cage on the middle floor (same as mangos), there old cage that is in my moms room(go there if my moms on a important phone call ), it’s a little bigger than there main cage but it’s not as pretty and does not go with furniture lol, and a small outside cage, they go in there when it’s nice outside to enjoy fresh air, we spend tons on money so we can switch out toys, and rotate them,

I own a cage pretty similar to yours and after a few months of owning this cage I have noticed something. Whenever I clean the skirt on the edge of the cage food gets stuck in the cracks and crevices. After a while it gets pretty nasty and I need to take it apart to hose down. I would recommend removing the skirt if it is too annoying to clean since the losses outweigh the benefits. I would also recommend using a plastic mat under the cage since it is on carpet and poop comes off much more easily when it is on the plastic.

I used to have the sandpaper perches in my birds' cages and have since either thrown them all out or wrapped them in vet wrap. The rough mineral tends to cause irritation on birds' feet and can open sores. Multiple vets and websites have told me to not ise mineral and sandpaper perches and just have them brought in to get their nails done.
Love ur videos always entertaining! Nice cage but I have been told not to use newspaper because the ink could poison the bird or make it sick. I have had my bird for a few weeks now and I just use paper towels instead of newspaper and it works great! Keep making the great bird bro!
I have a few plants next to my birds cage and have them growing through the bars. It looks cool and is good for them psychologically since it mimics nature, and its free toys that regrow after they've been destroyed. Just be sure to get non-toxic plants. I have kudzu and citrus trees.

My sun conure prefers smaller perches. I have limbs from a red plum tree that I have added. I also have a sand perch to help reduce the needle points on his toes.

Is a 24 in Length x 16 in Length x 30 in Height, Bar Spacing: 5/8 good for a sun conure? Im planing on getting a sun conure but I don't know if this size is big enough. Any help?
No that isn't big enough. Buy the biggest cage you can afford. If that's the biggest you can afford, please get a smaller bird, and use the hundreds of dollars saved to get a cage bigger than that. I recommend cockatiels. That size cage is like living in a closet (if he was your size) for him, you'd never be happy in a closet, would you? You seem like you definitely care about your future bird, sorry if I came across as mean.

I want 2-3 birds top 2 are conure and a cockatiel, the 3rd one is a budgie, does anyone know of cheap bird cage under 130$ big enough, I also saw someone say they bought a small dog crate big enough for 30$ and their bird is fine. I have a dog but he is pretty old and really friendly and loves to play with other animals, is it okay to get a bird still, if so can I let my birds play with my dog and other way around.
