At the end of another successful mission on Lyoko, our heroes rematerialize in the scanners. But something’s not quite right -- the program has malfunctioned a put Yumi in Odd’s body and vice versa. They are forced to make do as best they can in unfamiliar bodies, while the rest of the gang looks on in amusement. But things take a more serious turn when our heroes realize that Odd and Yumi’s atomic structures are unstable and that they could both disintegrate for good… - Розваги

From what I read on one website, Odd was supposed to kiss Ulrich while in Yumi's body so as to "give Ulrich a taste of Yumi" but the scene was cut because it was deemed too risque (understandably, as it was made in the 2000s).
Maybe that's why Sissi said "That's disgusting!". I can only imagine the pain Yumi would inflict on Odd had she found out (and if Cold Sweat is any indication, she has no problem hurting Ulrich even if he's not a perpetrator and simply caught in the middle).
And one can only imagine how Sissi would act if she discovered this after being let into the group.

It's a French show and they did their localization in-house, and the French are a lot more relaxed about these kinds of things.
I kinda think that might be the age range when it's *least* weird. There might be a little thrill in there, but it's more about the plain curiosity than anything else.

Too many unfortunate questions that can't be rightly addressed on a kids show. Even on THIS show, where they get away with a lot.
Let's also not forget that, whilst Yumi apparently slept in Odds clothes without changing, Odd very definitely got changed in Yumi's body. He must've got a good look at some stuff...

In Kokoro Connect they did. The boys and girls actually had to talk about how they were going to handle bathroom problems. One of the girls had a bad history with boys stalking/attacking her, and was traumatized by the idea. So the boys promised that they would make sure they'd go to the bathroom while still in control of their bodies so she wouldn't have to deal with it when she was controlling their bodies.

The intro to this episode was so smooth and quick. They established the premise of the episode and made a solid joke playing on that premise in just under 30 seconds
Odd has spoken four languages in the show so far: French (presumably they're not speaking English in Paris), Italian, Chinese and Japanese

I think she did help for a little bit, but ended up falling asleep while figuring out how to undo the rematerialization glitch.
Originally there was going to be a scene where Odd while in Yumi’s body kissed Ulrich to give him a taste of his crush, but it was removed because it was considered too over the top, and people are sensitive to anything that deviates from the heteronormative norms. There was even going to be a scene in Season Four showing Sissi’s butttocks since France is not sensitive about that thing like Murica is, but you know, ‘Murica.
And yet we've had how many scenes of Sissi in her underwear? Or Yumi wearing a shirt but no pants?
Considering that they're all children, 'America' as your blanketed statement puts it, would represent a sensible audience. This isn't anime, where ass shots have their own budget, although even those shows are aired during nighttime in Japan, as they are considered 18+. This show aired on a network aimed at 6-10 year olds when I was a kid, that would have been completely inappropriate.
But yea, keep crying sensitivity because you didn't get to see two kids kiss and another child having her ass out. Adult Swim is the place for you, not for this show.
I think it's weird that there's shots where Odd's stomach is flesh colored, not pink. It seems that the pink was added in later, because guys can't wear crop tops I guess lol.
I think remember finding a picture of that scene with Yumi and Ulrich. I was confused at first, but after watching this episode, it makes a whole lot more sense.
(But it did leave me with more questions than answers regarding the scene itself.)

If the supercomputer reads into someone's subconscious desires then shouldn't odd still have his cat outfit despite being in yumi's body and same goes for yumi in odd's body

bark- l I think the explanation for that is actually really simple: The writers thought it would take too much time to animate a version of Yumi wearing Odd's cat outfit and vice versa, so they decided to just leave it alone, which is actually okay with me, because that is honestly something I do NOT want to see.
Their avatars are already programmed to look the way they are since they’ve been to Lyoko already. The supercomputer has already paired Yumi’s body/her atoms to her avatar, no matter who’s mind it has, and same goes for Odd.
And thus, Odd & Yumi learned the pain and struggles of Gender Dysphoria

The original creators confirming Odd being bisexual in a recent interview makes this episode 10 billion times better🤣 There’s some quality dialogue and delivery in this episode too haha

This was by far the most confusing episode. Also after Yumi found out what happened between Ulrich and Odd (Yumi's body), she is going to kick Odds butt.
you know the fact that odd always wears purple and has funky hair, makes the girl voice suited for his body. l swear the first time l saw this show l thought odd was a girl, but odd's voice in yumi's body is kind of funny.
