- Instead of doing a segment in the Zero to Hero on what build i will initially be running i decided to do a standalone video on what i am ultimately gearing towards. Hope this sheds some light on this build since it is actually an extremely powerful and versitile build that can make many encounters go smoothly.

Absolutely love the current iteration of Chronomancer. Playing either of the 3 versions feels far less daunting once you get used to continuum split.

Thanks man! It definitely feels better than it once did, and it isn't quite as /broke/ as it once was so you can get in there with low stress. Even with non optimal gear this build still plays well!

I feel like the Light armor classes are so stacked. Mesmer can fill every role, Necro can fill every role (I think?), Ele is…. versatile too.
Separate thought - I appreciate they’re trying to make every class have access to all these options but it does kind of kill the uniqueness of classes. I think their real focus should be freeing up utility slots so there’s reason to change on certain fights.
They definitely are pretty strong right now, mesmer is just a class I haven't played a lot to it's full potential since I was in firebrand jail.
Planning on trying this again, had it a while ago, but felt miserable because my quickness died.
It's not too bad but there is a slight delay on the rampup once you get the hang of it it's pretty easy! Definitely pick it back up
You can switch mantra with phantasmal disenchanter. I use this build to make myself get used to the rotation and it works exceptionally well in maintaining alac since improved alacrity trait made us suffer from alac downtime a few sec
I was literally JUST eyeing this build after getting my first piece of light obsidian armor (still very new and poor though, don't even have autoloot but 500 astral acclaim is worth it)
There is an even more budget friendly build that uses the exact same equipment…
The gear of the power dps vindicator = power quickness herald (= power dps herald) (& maybe power renegade some day in the future again…)
Herald is the most stable and versatile quickness build out there and power vindicator is an extremely strong dps build
So Qdps herald is arguably my favorite build, power vindi is up there too. But power alac ren is dead (maybe it got revived?) Though I suppose it could work. My main gripe with revenant is the lack of ranged dps.
@@SilhouetteGaming1 nah power ren is still dead - it still retains its flexibility but it dps is too low to be viable unfortunately…
I fully agree that ranged dps is a weak point - only condi ren or condi herald can claim to be decent with its shortbow but nothing compares to ,esmer in that regard anyway ^^
There are ranged options (mostly condi) everywhere but they need to be in melee range from time to time…
@Cross_111 herald and scrapper are my two most played solo play classes with their qdps builds in open world. Power is dh or vindi, condi is almost exclusively virtuoso these days but it has been scourge and harb before. The amount of spreads in new strikes just debos any melee classes

Yeah the butterfly's are the clone despawn animation.

I like a little challenge in a build that isn’t just about mashing buttons. This looks really cool and pays off when you’re able to pull off the rotation/priority.

This build feels great once you know what you're doing. It's been a while since I played it but I'm trying to break the dust off so I can look somewhat like I know what I'm doing when I join groups with 600AP lol
@@SilhouetteGaming1 600 AP…lol. Man, maybe there ARE worse things than not having auto loot. 😂
@stevemail47 I still feel like auto loot is a pretty critical item, it's stupid that it's a mastery tbh but whatever.
On my alt it was my second class I geared after my PDPS beserker ( Main) for obvious reasons.
I love warrior but I am trying to be somewhat efficient lol
Man, is a good build, but chrono don't is a easy spec to play, you have to work to play well, don't is a easy class, dps is more hard yet than boon
is there alternative to dagger cuz I dont have soto
For power builds I'd say sword mainhand probably best option.

Hey man! thanks for checking out the vid! Maybe one day I'll do other games, and I love democracy as much as the next guy, but as for the time I have available to actually play it's not really feasible with other obligations (I'm sure you understand). Not going to say it's never going to happen, but a game I've been playing for this long is easy for me to understand and stay up to date on to make these kinds of guides in a short time frame. Have fun dropping stratagems on my brother, FOR DEMOCRACY.
Honestly, after giving it a try, this build wasn't as daunting as I thought it would be. It didn't take me long to get a grasp on it when I practice on the training golem. I don't raid or do strikes(I mainly OW/WvW) but this build is great in Open World as well. I might even take my Mesmer into Janthir Wilds first instead of my Ranger I've been having so much fun with it.
@runvior I think the spear will replace GS in this build. Definitely a great OW build, ive been running it on the zero to hero pretty much since this video was uploaded.
@@SilhouetteGaming1 It's been fun so far. The only changes I've made is swapping Mantra of Pain for Well of Precognition and using the Relic of Zaikros. I didn't get to mess with Mesmer spear during the beta I didn't get to play it much and only had a short time with Ranger and Engineer spears.

I think you mixed up clones and phantasms. Sword 5 and gs4 create phantasms (also phantasmal disenchanter), that do an attack and become an clone afterwards. While dagger 2 and gs2 create a clone directly.
Also saying that the Playstyle is "blowing everything off cd" is not how you should Play boon Chrono. There really is a Rotation that you could and should follow for sustained dps and also your boon uptime
@AnurSyqiecco you're correct but I am also not wrong in saying you use your phantasm skills to generate clones. And I know there is a actual rotation, my guides aren't necessarily for people who want to min-max their rotation, just the basic overview of the class and how the class plays. Chrono is high apm compared to other a/q dps classes, which is why I said it's a blow your skills off cooldown class, ultimately if you follow this guide for clone generation focusing on the 2nd skill of each weapon set and phantasm of each weapon set and blow your skills off cooldown with F1 and F2 being used with 3 clones you will do moderate DPS while also maintaining your boons comfortably.
@@SilhouetteGaming1 especially on the dps only build it's a big difference If you create a phantasm or a clone because phantasm Take ages to become a clone with grandmaster trait (chronophantasma) :D

I Just wanted that to Point Out that the right Rotation is Not pressing everything Off cd and Sometimes having at least a rough Rotation is better to Just Press every Button off cd
@AnurSyqiecco no worries man I'm not easy to offend and am always open to being completely wrong (happens all the time). I think the main difference is when you're running chronophantasma you aren't really in a crunch for clones because you aren't providing boons, so you're more focused on the phantasm spam /ether signet refresh /set up for CS. It's got it's own special considerations.
