Hi, I like your videos! I have a questions about Apologia Science. I'm not too familiar with it, it looks like a textbook to me. Have you used other science and how does it compare? Why do your prefer it? You caught my attention when you said it had a lot of hands on experiments and activities. Thank you!
hello, thnak you so much for your question. yes we did use at first the Masterbooks science LIFE. it was a bit dry for my kids and a bit on the unrelatable level. Apologia is very beautiful and it has level for beginners and advanced level which is great for high and middle school. it is written with engaging style , has lots of options and so to say rabbit trails. every lesson is packed with simple and sometimes more complex hand on experiments , so you have tons of differen activities to pick from. so we use only textbook but you can also buy notebooks or journal as they call it, where kids (by levels i believe ) can do their notes drawings and observations. i will consider and make a vidoe on it , i might get also journals just to show people the whole picture of this currciulum
