Thanks I realise after watching this I had placed the collar really very loosely, I could put my hand inside the actual collar!! 🙄😂 I’ve adjusted it to just a finger thickness, like you’ve shown. Thank you..
I just noticed, she is applying a very large collar. As I understand it, Seresto makes the collars not only for the physical size of the dog's neck, but they are also made with dosages customized for the size of the dog, that is, collars for large dogs are chemically "stronger" with a higher dosage of the chemical than for small dogs, so it seems that it could be unsafe to use a collar for a large dog on a small dog, despite the fact that you cut off the excess. Also, Seresto says two fingers is the correct fit.
After just three weeks I took Seresto collar off from both dogs. They had red blisters/wounds from collar. Reaction from chemicals in the collar. Didn’t even want to go on walks any more. Stop eating. Yes, it’s killing ticks, but it’s killing your dog too. It’s the pesticide you putting on your dog.
@@savicm74 damn my dogs seem to be doing well after a few days but I'm keeping a close eye. The ticks and fleas daily just got to be too much and I got really tired of having to deep clean my entire house every week just for them to come back. I figure even if we chose meds, we'd still be technically poisoning them. Can't really win either way

Hi, it depends on the weight of the dog - small or large. Hannah is applying the correct collar size for her dog.

Did you buy it on Amazon?
maybe they were counterfeit...were they cheaper than in-store?
@@RazzleJazzle420 No they were not. We got them at Petco. They looked legit.
