I like you advice dave I would like to return the favor. You need a better mic and damp the room. Somemats on floor ,furniture, bookcases even some acoustic foam in the top room corners if you want to get flash. You just need to catch some of your voice bouncing around the room then back into the mic late.

Hi thanks for the tips would a shotgun with a muff do the job I am learning and making basic mistakes along the way. Thanks Dynamite Dave..

Good Morning Dave I am audio guy I Am not a recording expert. You room is too lively that's easy to fix with some curtains ,mats etc ideally 2 mics one where you stand to throw and one where you want to talk. Das would be the guy to ask he has the same setup. A very versatile affordable mic is
Blue Yeti USB Microphone which is about 100usd.

Nice one on getting back to basics Dave. Even after throwing for some 4 decades now I still once a week check my fundamentals/basics for maintenance. Cheers.

He who doesn't make mistakes doesn't make anything but a wise man makes those mistakes recognises them admits to them and learns from them.

I have changed my Stance which has made doubles a lot better , just having trouble scoring well now , i will hit 140's and 100's and stuff but then go to 25 and 45 etc.. i played a game today and every time i needed a big score or good finish i got it.

Dave, as a sound man, nothing would improve your videos more than some sound treatment and a good microphone. Love the content!

Hi thanks for the tip would a shotgun mike with a diffuser do the trick. cheers Dave...

That would be a huge help. A couple of sound panels on the sides and a ceiling mounted cloud would make it close to perfect.

Watching this after setting up my board from Arg*s.... Ah well. But it is a Winmau Blade 5, in a branded box, which looks the same as any other retailer's. So surely a Blade 5 is a Blade 5 wherever it's bought?

practice practice practice my friend and a mirror so you can watch your arm so you can see if it drops. Or if you have the tech set up your camera and WIFI it to your tablet or laptop. cheers D Dave
