Pune Metro - Complete Details of All 3 Lines

Today I am going to share complete details of all 3 lines of Pune metro.
Pune Metro Route Lines
• Line 1: PCMC Building - Swargate
• Line 2: Vanaz - Ramwadi
• Line 3: Megapolis Circle- Civil Court
Pune Metro Fare
• While the minimum fare for PMC Station to Phugewadi Station is INR 10, the maximum is INR 20.
• On the Vanaz to Garware College Station route, the minimum fare is INR 10, while the maximum is 20.
• The fare system, tariffs, and restrictions for Pune Metro Line - 3 are yet to be revealed. Closer to the start of operations, this will be done.
Line 1: Pune Metro Purple Line
There are 16 stations along the 16.58 km-long line one, including five underground stops. The line consists of the following stations:
• PCMC
• Sant Tukaram Nagar
• Bhosari (Nashik Phata)
• Kasarwadi
• Phugewadi
• Dapodi
• Bopodi
• Khadki
• Range Hill
• Shivaji Nagar
• Civil Court
• Budhwar Peth
• Mandai
• Swargate
Line 2 - Pune Metro Aqua Line
Line two will be 14.66 kilometres long and will include 16 elevated stations. The line consists of the following stations:
• Vanaz
• Anand Nagar
• Ideal Colony
• Nal Stop
• Garware College
• Deccan Gymkhana
• Chhatrapati Sambhaji Udyan
• PMC
• Civil Court
• Mangalwar Peth
• Pune Railway Station
• Ruby Hall Clinic
• Bund Garden
• Yerawada
• Kalyani Nagar
• Ramwadi
Line 3 - Pune Metro Red Line
Line three will be 23.3km-long with 23 elevated stations. The line consists of the following stations:
• Megapolis Circle
• Quadron
• Infosys Phase II
• Döhler
• Wipro Technologies
• Pall India
• Shivaji Chowk
• Hinjawadi
• Wakad Chowk
• Balewadi Stadium
• NICMAR
• Ramnagar
• Laxmi Nagar
• Balewadi Phata
• Baner Gaon
• Baner
• Indian Agricultural Research Institute
• Sakal Nagar
• Savitribai Phule Pune University
• Reserve Bank of India
• Agriculture College
• Shivaji Nagar
• Civil Court
Payment - Smart Card and Paper Tickets
Timings - Proposed 5am to 10pm
Ticket Price - 10Rs and 20Rs
Speed - 80Kms/hour (to be kept 35kms/h for now)

My new job from April-23 is going to be Hinjawadi Phase 3....is it worthwhile to stay in Phase 3 itself ? What do you suggest ?
Wanted to understand whether all the below points are easily accessible & available ?
Petrol pump,
Groceries,
Fruits & Vegetables,
Mall & multiplex,
Public transport,
Doctor & hospital,
Restaurants
any other basic facilities?
Share your experience pls..
Rohan, all these facilities are absolutely available in Phase 3.Entire Pune West is growing too fast.
There is a market (Crystal Market) for all basic needs like snacks, variety of foods, saloon, grocery etc. Vegetable mkt is also there. There is a temple as well in Phase 3, Bus depo is also there with good connectivity to all areas of Pune.
Podar Intl School etc for Kids.
Good renowned hospitals in 4-5Kms radius.
Nearby Mall for PVR and Shopping - Grand High Street Mall.
Petrol pump is also there, so you can plan for phase 3.
For economic rates (rent/buying), you can check flats in Megapolis Township there. Maximum crown is from IT sector here.
Or else you can check Wakad area as well, for more better facilities as Phase 3 has everything but it is the last corner of Pune West🙂

Appreciate your efforts.😊 I wanted to know , which metro station will be near to Kolte patil township. how much time it will take from township to reach the nearest metro station. Can the introduction of metro create good commute opportunities from kolte patil township to all three phases in hinjewadi?
Hi Jovita,
All nearby stations of Hinjewadi Phase 1, 2, 3 are in range of 6 to 8kms frim Kolte Patil Township. To commute till Hinjewadi, metro is not going to help as we have to travel 7kms first to reach any of the metro station - Dohler, Wipro Circle, Shivaji Chowk or Wakad Chowk.

I do not have any information about this Saurabh. May be in phase 2 they will extend lines.
What a stupid way to plan metro, they did not start the most crowded route first, I just fail to understand the politics of these people. Hard lunch Pune guys.

@@Kein__name yes. No station is close for Marunji, blue ridge, Capgemini in phase 3. There is need for some feeder services. Or need enough parking space at each station.

Hi Kamal, you must be aware that 4 stations have already opened. Now till Swargate line will be completed by March, 2023 as per the recent update☺
Clear the public route nor Tajmahal ( as metro station)
