Rode for about 5 years until I got married, started having kids and wife said no more bike riding until kids get older. Well 3 years ago after not riding for almost 25 years my first bike was a Road King. Zero issues with the weight. It’s really not as bad as you would think. I think you would be surprised.
You need to test drive a road king. The touring frame is a game changer. Not heavy like the glides but get the comfort.
I will consider because I like the bikes just the weight and bulkiness is what steers me away.
