And I was exited to build my 88 into a 95, have a good builder set me up with custom heads, lifters, rods, rockers, grind out the covers to accept the lift without hitting… and smoke the first 114 I found after break-in. Can’t imagine how fun that kinda power/torque would be. 🤪
Hey, just wanted to start out by saying that I love seeing the builds that you do. I love Mr. Hoke's Dominator Road King! I have a Road King, and I wanted to do a High Performance Vicla Style. I have a completely stock bike, I know that I need to start with an exhaust. I know that True duals are not really the Highest Performance style, but It does go with the Vicla Style. Wanted to know what your thoughts were on that. How would you make a High Performance Vicla style (true Dual) exhaust?
What kind of bareings for crank and piston? Pressed and is your rods forged ,they must be what kind of inspection goes into these parts prior to machining?

I would love to do a roll on from 50-60 mph with my Ducati against this thing!! I am sure its an absolute monster down bottom....but once you are actually going fast the sportbike hits where its strengths are.....remember that a sportbike doesnt even begin making power til 7-8k rpm so out of the hole a Harley can truly take advantage (my Duc makes its power from 8k - 15k where my Harleys its done making power around 6k)....once you are rolling, the power to weight and aero advantage pretty much take over (Its all about physics). Awesome bike Mr Hoke....we see you on the chats all the time....AWESOME to see your bike!!! I agree that adding the carbon wheels is a HUGE upgrade.....I did forged aluminum to my Harley and it made a big difference...but I did carbon to my Ducati and it was out of this world different in every aspect from handling to feel to acceleration...everything just seemed quicker and smoother pretty much everywhere simply from the mass reduction.
That be fun another thing you got to remember is the horsepower and torque on a Ducati is measured at the engine so knock 15 % off those numbers then you will see how it's possible for a built Harley to outrun it
@@curtishoke143 My current one (2022) makes 203 at the rear wheel and weights 430lbs full of gas..but still the peak torque is only 90 ft lbs... :D They have come a LONG way in the last 3-4 years. It also doesnt hit redline til 14500 rpm on a 1200cc motor (V4). That thing might be bad, but it ain't outrunning any litre bike. These Harley guys crack me up. Hear this stuff all the time. I've owned several of each, and I've ridden some pretty mean Harleys, I've never seen one on the street that would even hang with a 600 sport bike. It's just simple power to weight.
Sorry to say but this one would murder a 600. I don’t think you’ve ridden a Harley-Davidson even close to this caliber. Come to one of our track days and you’ll be stunned.
Mmmmm I think from the hit the Harley will get it but a roll race where a 600cc or liter is in gear and at about 80mph no Harley is keeping up. It’s like a muscle car they can get the hit but you put them in anything else that’s actually sporty and the Harley’s get dusted. It’s all acceleration and no top end. So yes they probably are faster to 60-80 but after that and the bikes have good traction the sport bikes take over. You can’t break or beat the laws of physics.
@@MoonshineHarley not saying that they can’t beat a 600cc at some point but again that’s a high modded bike against what is mostly stocks super sports. But a little bike with warmed up tires and in the high rpms no chance on a roll race, maybe at the hit, but that’s it they will catch up and pass you easily.
it beats them off the line because of the torque and weight but after like 100mph, the supersports will destroy this thing, harleys cant go more than like 125mph without falling apart or wobbling like a mf plus its a 143 ci, which is 2343 vs a 1000cc bike

I would put all the dollars I have on the BMW including a roll race from any mph.
All I’d like you to do know is how much he has into this unit thing must be a riot on the road !!
Does it still have a drive belt or did you change over to chain drive
GO get em Hoke!
You Gentlemen do it right..... great vid, thanks.
NICE BIKE AND GREAT SHOP
What’s the mpg rating before and after you install this? I wonder how often you need to stop to fill up
Tons of power that no one really needs or can use.
Man that thing is beautiful. Cool making a hog that will roll like that. I have a softail with the 107 and it throws me back in the seat. Can't imagine I could take this past 3500 rpm without an extra pair of choneys and dude wipes in the hard bags.
And I was exited to build my 88 into a 95, have a good builder set me up with custom heads, lifters, rods, rockers, grind out the covers to accept the lift without hitting… and smoke the first 114 I found after break-in.
Can’t imagine how fun that kinda power/torque would be. 🤪
95’s Rip when build right!
What kind of numbers are you getting with that 95? Still the 5 speed transmission?
I would like to do that to my 18 H.D Breakout with this 114.
@curtishoke143 gnarly bike. how do you tolerate the heat? that thing's gotta be an egg cooker!
Do you have a webshop to buy part kits from and is there shipping to finland
What kind of bareings for crank and piston? Pressed and is your rods forged ,they must be what kind of inspection goes into these parts prior to machining?
You’ll be a liter bike off the line but you’re not gonna outrun one.
Ok!
Do a moto vlog on shifting that thing, LIVE!!❤
Great power wow. However, I’ve never seen a dependable Harley after modifications that aren’t factory.
So insane
I want one💪
An amazing bike! I would Love to have one with this engine build in a Low Rider ST. Any idea of what it will do from 0-60mph?
No idea off hand. Maybe we can get the owner to come to our next Track Day in September.
I got two bikes, my 2000 Road Glide custom Screamin' Eagle, Bagger, and my Merch Performance 131 ci special build softtail, Hot Rod! I love my Bagger because it's smooth. I ride the Hot Rod to Snap me out of my peace of mind! Lol!!!
How's the cam situation looking for a new 2024 CVO? Possible yet?
Now how much power can those rods take? What if they supercharged that build with a little less compression? Is 350hp possible?
Dam what a Beast.
Great Work......
😎🇦🇺😎
Thank You!
The bike and the owner are sleepers. My fav
Great work keep it up what are top bloke good to see love it from Australia THANKS.
Wow Wow all I can say 181 HP that is crazy cool
Question if i have high horsepower in my rg is it still good to tour ? I know mpg will be lower but im talking reliability
It's a really nice rod
Did it need anything special to keep it cool in hot weather?
Sick build
My old one was a twin cylinder that could only rev to 11500 but the internals of the motor were all titanium so it spun up super quick...(2013) it made 189 at the wheel but was a bit heavier (450 wet). I run with guys that have built 143's making in the 160-170 hp range and super flat torque curves....out the hole they bust me pretty good but once we are rolling I reel them in very quickly....and I just dont have the stones or the skill to launch the Duc to its capability. The new one has wheelie control and wings to create down force so its not so wheelie prone....but still scares the living crap out of me.... :D. You can look at my channel to see some of them....yours is a BEAST though!! Would love to see it in person one of these days!! I am only 8 hours away so next spring I am def coming out there to the Moonshine drag day....
@@redrider0151 cool hopefully one of these days we can go riding together that would be fun take care and ride safe
@@curtishoke143 I don't think he can beat a liter bike at top speed. Those boys do smackdowns at 180+. And what does that weigh? 650-700lbs?
@@just_one_opinion the road kings are 800-830lbs. Simple math will tell you a newer liter sport bike would have no problem beating this. My Panigale v4 is 202hp at the rear wheel weighing 360lbs…with the sport bike weighing less than half, it doesn’t take a mathematician to figure it out
Great content 👍🏻
would love to see you guys do a build with a Trask Turbo setup like on a 135 and up setup.
Coming soon! We have a 135 with a turbo piston, rings and new MHP-575 Turbo cam.
Houston has a drag strip he should go there and see what it can do
Insane
Awesome!!! Can a 143" M8 be set-up for a 03 FXSTS Springer Softail? I would absolutely luv to have HP and TQ like that in my 100 Year, Anniversary Springer. That is Awesome!!! :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)
Very impressive build...1 question, how are you venting oil mist?
Factory H-D routing.
@@MoonshineHarley catch can(s) not needed, going into Throttle Body? Is that the legal answer, or the real answer
WHAT TIME AND SPEED THROUGH THE QUARTER MILE?
Cmon I’m ready to see bad ass power
Awesome bike but I think that stock transmissions days are numbered.
I have a 1980 wide glide how big can we go . Mr Hoke is a good old guy.
so you did not do the baker transmission with this build? Awesome bike
Correct. Running the stock H-D transmission.
What kind of steel and where do you cylinder sleeves come from?
Night Dragons !! Best tires
It's an amazing bike.
What are your thoughts on the short Bassani road rage on a 2022 SGS with a cam? I haven’t picked the cam but I’m wanting a short stainless exhaust as long as I’m not killing a bunch of torque.
You need our MHP-485 cam. For more information please contact our Horsepower Team

I met this guy today!!!!!! He’s cool. Va
Can you do this for a road glide
I just rode this bike today, I will say never has a bike made me shake when getting off of it but this one is NASTY
That is a really sick HD. I ride a Busa, liter bikes make nothing at low revs. A Busa at 3k revs makes more torques than a 1000 ever will.
80.000$bike lol
What’s a good ballpark figure for this setup?
I love how butthurt people get about this 143 vs a 1000cc sport bike, almost like you guys have skin in the game or are sponsored. Tbh who gives a fuck whats faster. Im super glad these guys build these motors and one day ill have one in my electra, and at the same time im super happy for the dude with a H2 or a turbo busa. Just enjoy what you own and live life bro... Not everything needs to be a competition. Do what make you smile the most!!! Atleast we all prefer 2 wheels to 4, Ride safe out there guys. ✌️
What color is the powder coat and by who? Thanks! Great vids!
Will this fit a 2019 freewheeler 114
Love it
Thank God it's a road.king and not a glide....lol
Amazing bike guys, the blue accents is killer. Dude I got guys around here in PA saying they hate the M8 but I'm thinking I need to trade in my wore out twin cam road king for a black road king M8 for a start...best build I've seen so far
It seems that Harley riders, ( alot of them, not all,) always dislike anything new from the factory, then suddenly, like the evo, it becomes the go to engine. I like old stuff, but these new bikes are really nice. Plus, I am not a good wrench, so I cant own somthing old.
@@michaeldelio1870 ....I think the new Harleys are really good, and unbelievably powerful. Hopefully one day I can afford a m8 114 with the full sns cam chest, another 2 into 1....ect
@@michaeldelio1870 you will love the new M8 road king I appreciate the comment on mine do you ever go to Gettysburg Harley I go up there sometime
@@michaelmitchell5909 thanks for the comments you will love the road king M8 do you ever go to Gettysburg Harley I go there sometime
@@curtishoke143 .....hey man, no problem. Thank u for responding back....I love the road king model and will definitely have in the future, an M8 road king that is. I own an 04 king now.
what is the biggest I can go with my Stock 114
BADASS!!!
BADASS
That thing might be bad, but it ain't outrunning any litre bike. These Harley guys crack me up. Hear this stuff all the time. I've owned several of each, and I've ridden some pretty mean Harleys, I've never seen one on the street that would even hang with a 600 sport bike. It's just simple power to weight.
Sorry to say but this one would murder a 600. I don’t think you’ve ridden a Harley-Davidson even close to this caliber. Come to one of our track days and you’ll be stunned.
@@MoonshineHarley I'll have to do that! Thanks.
Must've been some magic going on if you're beating a bike that weighs half as much and 180 hp 😂
it beats them off the line because of the torque and weight but after like 100mph, the supersports will destroy this thing, harleys cant go more than like 125mph without falling apart or wobbling like a mf
plus its a 143 ci, which is 2343
vs a 1000cc bike
No replacement for displacement
What you guys recommend for transmission fluid?
Can’t wait!
Sick build , I wonder what’s gas mileage with all that power?
Still in the 40’snon the HWY but it’ll drink some gas ripping from light to light.
