I think Kirby’s air ride should get a remake since it’s the first 3D kirby game
Why would you remake a racing game just make a new one at that point
Both?🤔 both!!🙃
The people crave Kirby 64 remake
no
Yes
I thought the last remake on switch would be from Amazing Mirror
I honestly thought they were going to remake Kirby 64 back on the 3DS. I would like to see that game get remade and have multiple playable characters like they wanted to originally.
Yup!
I think one thing that Kirby could do that you didn’t mention is Kirby 99. Taking the minigame format and turning it into a battle royale.
That would be EPIC. Kirby already is made for tiny micro minigames so why not add more stakes to it ^^
I wouldn't mind if a few of the older games get a proper remaster in the new format since I know that'd make a bunch of fans happy!
But I would absolutely adore a lore delving game, doesnt even have to be much in lore, just enough to hint at the direction they want the lil fella to go towards
3D Kirby has just started, I’m sure the next game will follow a similar structure since it’s so new and has tons of room to basically do whatever it wants. Most people share the sentiment of wanting more classic abilities to return, and maybe some expanded movesets, but I personally dont think taking the heavy action game route is the best direction since FL already has a great blend of A TON of aspects like platforming, combat, and exploration/puzzles.
I doubt 2D Kirby will go anywhere or be subject to just remaking older Kirby games. I hope the 3DS games get remasters at some point just for preservation sake, but I’m sure we will be getting more original 2D Kirby’s.
As for spin offs, me personally, I’d like another Blowout Blast, just to hold me over til the next full 3D game lol. Most want an RPG, and I’d be down for one as well. But I’m basically down for anything Kirby cuz HAL knows their stuff
I love Kirby Clash, but I wish that they would make a game like it without the RPG elements. Not being forced to play 4-player with AIs or randos online. A large collection of normal Copy Abilities and Dream Friends instead of just four classes. Themed "Arenas" where you fight a set of bosses all in a row without dying. A roster of amazing bosses taken from all over the franchise's history, including ones from spin-offs like Moon Warriors Dedede & Meta Knight, Dark Taranza & King D-Mind, or Dark Aeon Hero, so these amazing bosses can be fought in a normal way without any gimmicks. A difficulty- and scoring system like Star Allies' would be perfect, and I'm sure they could write a super interesting story to wrap it all up in with some original characters or Mirror/Parallel counterparts.
I 100% think we're getting another 3D title on the switch's successor, and while I don't think it'll be a launch title because imho there's still a bit of technical work to be ironed out in the 3D formula, we'll be getting one regardless because of FL's success. I think it's also time for a new 'Craft-Based' spinoff a la rainbow/canvas curse and epic yarn. If the switch's successor gets a stylus, I hope HAL takes advantage of it. As for 2d... it's anyones guess. We could theoretically get a new 2d but I feel like HAL is going to be putting all their dog eggs into the 3D Kirby basket now that theyve proved its possible.
(Oh, and also if we're talking Kirby RPG, Paper Kirby. Enough said. It would fit like a glove!)
I want there to be a Kirby planet robobot remake
Or like one where president haltmann was reborn and taken over dreamland for the second time
If only kirby and pokemon had a crossover game outside smash. Kirby can canonically meet jigglypuff.
Maaaaaan there is so much potential for the future of Kirby, its not even funny.
Firstly, I'd love to see more of the older games ported or remastered. Triple Deluxe & Planet Robobot are two of the best games in the series. And them getting the RTDL DX treatment would make me ascend.
The Dark Matter Trilogy (DL2, DL3, 64) are probably the Kirby games that could benefit from full remakes the most. As they're still fun, but probably feel the most archaic of the older games. Especially with the very vague puzzles. 64 in particular is the Kirby game I would choose to get that FF7R type re-imagining into a 3D game. Because of every mainline Kirby, you can tell that's one that FELT like they wanted it to be 3D... but couldn't due to time constraints. Not even getting into all the un-used beta stuff too. Like the other playable characters, and the return of the Animal Friends.
But for purely new 2D Kirby, Star Allies and the 3DS games are a high bar to clear, but not impossible. As I especially still think the series could benefit from getting a 2D entry with proper online co-op. Which would be a little ways off for 3D maybe.
A proper Air Ride successor... a spinoff for one of the characters like Meta Knight... a narrative heavy Kirby RPG...
And so on and so forth. I have endless ideas for how the series could go forward. But I trust HAL enough that whatever we do get will be great either way.
I wouldn't mind another 3d but also, i kinda want another pixel 2d kirby game
WE NEED A KIRBY 64 REMAKE
Maybe kirby rpg like secret of mana or lost ark, and 4player co-op. kirby Beat'em up likes of tmnt shredder's revenge 6 or 8 player co-op? Making 8 different color kirby to bandana wadadi, and lot of unlockable characters? Branching stories,
A musou Kirby would be great, but I want them to first improve the graphics of Three Hopes😔, besides adding online multiplayer to that game and Age of Calamity😮💨 all of that for "Switch 2" for sure.
Now I want a Kirby x Bayonetta game
I think the next game will be another 3D game. My hope is that it’ll be set in space
I think the next 3D Kirby has a solid chance of being a launch year title for the Switch 2 in 2025. Kirby games generally don’t take as long compared to other series, and already being adapted to the 3rd dimension could make it less time consuming for them to develop it
I wonder when we'll get a Robobot remake.
Or a Triple Deluxe remake
@@ElijaPin Or "Reboot" it, get it?
When are new Kirby games on Nintendo Switch 2?
