It's a good thing you managed to trigger the good ending of this mission, instead of the bad one, like I did on my first playthrough of this mission during my middle school days. Nice Job!
@@FinnJain if you don't pick up the verification code, the console gasses you when it asks for it. You then start the next mission locked in the brig of the ship.

I had this on gamecube and then a cousin of mine totally lost it lol. So fun but sadly short lived game for me when I was younger. Your channel has come a long way man!
Really solid mission with a lot of super thugs you mowed down lol never knew about that qclaw grate nice 👌next we get to my personal favorite mission in the game.
I dunno if it's just me, but does anyone else remember this level being...bigger? Maybe I'm thinking of another game entirely, but, I remember the things you had to destroy being spread out across a series of rooms and areas, rather than all in one single room. I first played this game as a rental many years ago and kinda remembered that, and it seemed different when I played it again at a later date. The level seems the same on all versions, though.
I do yeah, I suspect our memory is just playing a trick on us. It would be out of character for this level to be longer than it is given the length of the other missions in the game. But I personally remember it being spread across two or three rooms when you destroy those first tanks at the beginning.
@@JD-xr5od I think what I'm specifically remembering is a couple of other rooms that are connected via corridors lined with windows giving a view out into the ocean... maybe one had a staircase or a ramp with some kind of railing? I have this image in my mind of it kinda. I guess it's possible my memories got mixed with some other PS2 era FPS that had a similar mission. It's also possible that since I was a lot younger at the time and my imagination was a lot more vivid, maybe I just remembered it being a lot bigger and cooler than it actually was. I know some games actually did have very different designs depending on what system they were played on. An example of this where I actually *did* remember correctly was Splinter Cell. I originally played it on Xbox and remembered some levels, especially the CIA level, being quite different. It bugged me to no end and years later, I found out that the PS2 version was in fact very different from the Xbox and PC releases, and the whole outside area of the CIA that I thought I just imagined really did exist!
So far so good. Nice game, but these tracers... and a weird gun. In this game Bond uses Smith and Wesson SW99. Look at the slide back and the slide frame - there's a clear mismatch. Also Bond should hold it lower or the slide would hurt his hand while slide into place after reload. But spare from this, a decent game and a realistic script, far better than Spectre. Nice walkthrough Graslu00, keep it up!
Thank you! The game suffers from being one of the first games that jumped the generation from the N64 era to GCN/PS2, so it shows a bit on the 3D models and specially animations. There's a mod that fixes the bullet tracers and other stuff that I plan on streaming after I'm done with the playthrough.
Yes. The graphics really seems to resemble that from N64, but... it is what it is. You know, if someone develops a good unofficial remake of a Bond game (there are some free game engines now) will you take a look? And will you make your own GoldenEye N64 custom level?
There's GoldenEye: Source which I think it's obvious I play and then GoldenEye 25, which is a remake on Unreal Engine 4 by some of the old GoldenEye: Source developers. You can see more info of it here - twitter.com/007goldeneye25 As for N64 custom levels, we're working on SubEye 64, which is a pack of 10 custom levels in a single ROM with a new story.
I wonder why it's the SW99 they used. They did the same thing in Everything or Nothing. Still though I plan on buying one to go with my P99 cause it's still technically a bond gun haha.
I have not seen an FPS that were able to make weapons feel as powerless as this game. The beast that once was RC-P90, is now an inaccurate noodlethrower with firing rate of a revolver.
Yeah it feels like you're shooting nerf darts with all the weapons. Thankfully the Reloaded mod fixed the accuracy and graphics of the tracers, feels much better that way.
I'm honestly curious on what exactly happens if you didn't get the verification code. I want to find footage of it. I could of course play through the level, but I don't want to go through the trouble... Maybe Edit: I found out. It's not much, the end cutscene goes on like normal until the computer asks for the verification code which Bond confusingly repeats and gas fills the room, sedating both Bond and Nightshade, ending the mission. The next mission starts you in the brig in the ship. Other than that like I said, not much. I still want to see a video though.
Graslu00 I kinda want to guess GoldenEye for Brosnan, and probably Skyfall for Craig? Interested to see Connery and Moore, and which side of the coin you're on for Dalton.

It looks like the key to gold medaling this mission is to play on 00Agent difficulty, take very little damage and finish as fast as you can.
