I am so OBSESSED with 8 Graves since discovering them recently, from the angry hair-raising tracks to the very somber and contentious ones. You can tell that the group puts their heart and maybe lived experiences behind the way their lyrics hit. One of my new favorite bands.

Best band to ever exist. It is a releaf when you hear something you can relate to. You are one of the legends whose songs dig dipper into emotions and mental states, and you do that like experts.
I can relate a lot to this song... Tha literally describes my entire existence of being in the eyes of people just a "fun guy" who they can spend time with or ask for help only to forget me later. It... it hurts a lot, but after a long time you just get used to it. And I yet have never seen someone taking the sarcastic and optimistic approach. That is just perfect. Down to the last detail. Fantastic. Those are the type of songs, that make people feel better and more confident about themselves. Well... at least that works on me. Your songs insire me personally alot and I'm forever grateful for your masterpieces. I'll be waiting for the next song as long as it takes, it's totally worth it.
And while I wait I'll just have my Good Time, going through your songs again :)

And I think it’s a something a lot of peeps forget to comment on because they are enjoying the music but I’ve been observing the lyrics(for the other songs as well) for the longest while and I am LIVING it.
For this one, I can say something similar to “swallowing my pride” and “not being the favorite” happens in all my relationships and I know it’s not the best but I think I learned to live with that because there is usually no other option but changing yourself. To all who are reading this comment, don’t get stuck with the word favorite, change must be something you want. Don’t ever change for someone just because they want you to or because you aren’t their “fave”. 🖤
