Yay! So excited for this one 😁 edit: after first listen this is definitely one of my new favs from y'all. I feel like pretty much anybody could relate to this. We have all made mistakes in our past, some worse than others. Depending on how bad it haunts you, it can be distressing to just look in the mirror and see the person that causes you so much shame.

Oh this is something else. I expected anything but this. It sounds SO SOFT and beautiful!! I appreciate everything about it: the distorted notes sounding like retro gameboy stuff, inspiring album art, the harmony of sounds, the way the drop is soothing but entertaining at the same time and of course your exquisite metaphors!
I can't explain how much I love this mirror comparison, first painting it black because of fear, hence getting lost with no picture of yourself, then putting it back together with your own mind getting hurt by the sharp glass pieces, trying to look at yourself again even with these cracks all over. Like DUDE!! I'm in love with this symbolism!! Also hella relatable, I was really confused and lost looking at myself during last fall.
Also the other lyrics, "the setting Sun behind me, I need a star to guide me" ooooh you wrote this for me oooh I'm stealing your song-- no but fr, considering the album art it's the same vibes as my main character's aesthetic, like night stars glittery stuff.. and also ofc mentally speaking, I associate it with my staying up at nights and the guidance need, fighting with lack of confidence. Star as a guide is so wonderful to visualize in my mind (and to see looking at the album art!) so I'm super thankful that your amazing brain came up with that. Your voice is spectacular as always but I especially love how melancholic it is in this line. And the "unanswered questions" my behated btw they can go to hell I need my clarity. So yeah I'm taking this song and running away with it woop
Listening to this makes me think of the art behind symbolism and atmosphere, you did so good with this one. A soulful combination of different little details looking so amazing together. And the fact that it's honest and understandable too... def my fav out of this album for now.
Even if the algorithms are against you, keep your head up. Spotify's weird way of recommending songs is annoying actually, thinking about it lately, shuffle that's not a real shuffle is ugh. But you still got us no matter what you do! And the people that possibly lost your stuff will find you again eventually, I'm sure of it. Also I really appreciate you making so many events on the releases now even if it's time consuming for you, it feels like I'm hanging with friends and having fun (haha good time) for a couple days, such a cozy chill time... and then it's weird when it's gone. But it's great cuz it makes it special! Just wanted to let you know that your efforts are seen and valued, your songs are pure art and you're doing great. Don't forget that.💙
