Had a Eaton 13 spd factory rebuild that sounded like that in less than 2000 miles. Imploded in Louisiana. Trans so messed up Eaton couldn't tell what happened. Replaced with a Eaton rebuild 18 spd. It made it about 80,000. Range selector bolts inside fell out in Montana. Thank goodness I'm not a O/O. Eaton warranted both
How it going David, That happened to me about 4 years ago putting the hammer down on a mountain and the shaft broke on me , slung clutch parts all over the place and it destroyed the transmission for sure , But anyway put a hook on her to Peterbilt write around $14000 bucks new fly wheel clutch and pressure plate and they gave me 4 year warranty on an 18 speed NOT rebuilt brand spankin new , So you done good my friend , that's right you pill them bucks out and you slide right back under the trailer and you get after it again be safe out there

@David, Crazy thing bro, mine went out too. I had to do full rebuild 13 speed, 2250 ez pedal clutch, rear main seal, synchronizer, turn fly wheel, new motor mounts and more. 4 day turn around. God is so GΩΩD!!!
