I enjoy watching your luxury shopping trips, restaurants, spa visits. That’s the content I watch you for. I always get a vicarious thrill from it. I personally think you’re overthinking this….do what you love…record it … and we will watch! I also love seeing you & David cooking, on holiday, bunnies, etc. I don’t comment often but I’ve loved your videos for years💖
I’d love to see videos from you about the bags and items you already own! I feel like I have no idea what your collection really looks like and would love your thoughts and reviews of things you own!
Yes please! That’s an excellent idea. In this economy so many of us have turned off the stream of constant new stuff and are finding enjoyment in the old stuff we already have.
I adore you. Your honesty. Your authenticity. You are so thoughtful to your followers. Genuinely connect and remember little things about so many of us. Just wanted to leave you a supportive appreciative comment. You are the REAL REAL deal Sophie Shohet. XO
I woould love to see a video how you care for your luxury items. How you store items to keep them free from dust, damp etc. How you take care of luxury knitwear, is this through handwashing or dry cleaning. How luxury shoes are stored are cared for. It doesn't need to show your home.
I didn't realize I only had watched half of this video so I started it over and finished it. I want to answer your question: when you make videos about luxury, you are considerate of your viewers, bring us into the conversation, & make luxury not feel like "mindless purchases" other channels just feel like showing off, even if they seem nice, there's just no depth & when you see someone buying over $100k+ worth of leather each year, it's actually exhausting. When you make content, regardless if it's luxury, you still show your human side & remind us that you've learned not to spend yourself into debt. There's always a good message.
I want more ghost stories! Seriously, I’m here for your personality. I love listening to you regardless of the topic. Luxury isn’t for me, but I enjoy living vicariously through you.
I would love to see some thrifty luxury videos! Finding rare pieces secondhand, going into vintage boutiques and what they have, etc etc, Luxury on a budget! xx
You could talk about a box of rocks and I would happily watch. In one of your videos you stated waking up to David makes you so happy. Next your cup of coffee. That is one of the things I love about you. You are genuine and thoughtful. You don’t have to speak on luxury but, speak from your heart that is luxury. Like I would love to hear your plans on the next chapter of your life. Like the early retirement. I know you will do well. You inspire us all in more ways than imaginable.
I like so many things you like! Candles, stationery, bunnies, pretty crystals, drawing or making Jewellery, walks... I still remember fondly when you listed that egg poaching pan as one of your best purchases because it made you so human and set you apart from people who only want to sell me things. I also love your story times and especially career advice. I would be interested in how you organise your work day, your agenda. How to talk to clients or your boss. Work life balance and/or overcoming feeling not motivated, especially because you work for yourself. If you decided to take every other day off, no one would stop you. I also love interior design. Reviews of bags and clothes you already have and their longtime wear and tear. I love my bullet journal, do you do anything like this? Also love your luxury roasts. 😂 I also always look for luxury dupes, currently I’m looking for the best VCA perlee ring dupe. Because people are becoming disillusioned with luxury but good design is still good design. I’ve always really appreciated how you keep your private life private and some of those things involve David or your home or your work so might not be what you want to do and I completely understand. I also still like an unboxing. If someone has the money to buy something that makes them happy it makes me happy, too, even if I can’t afford it.
I always love seeing your name here and I notice when you aren’t here my friend! You’ve been with me a long time 🙏 I’ve screenshot your comment as there are so many great ideas in this. Thank you and stay tuned on both channels 🥰 Hugs xx
Even with the differences they point out, especially on the outside they are so minute to anyone but these trained people to see, even people who own a lot of luxury probably cant see the difference, so why spend 8k when you can spend 500. Also if you spent 8k but your other clothes were old and tatty and wore no make up people would think its fake, if the rest of your appearance was very put together and wearing higher end highstreet, even luxury bag owneers would assume this *esluxy* is real. Only trained people would know the difference.
The issue I have is that brands like Chanel are no longer asking people to pay for the quality of their items like back in the day. I get that there is the issue of exclusivity, but there is nothing you can say to me to make me pay Eur 8000 simply to be associated with a name. Like really, who are you?!?! Give me a high quality non-designer bag any day of the week! Quite frankly, if I really fall in love with any particular Chanel design, I would go to the *esluxy* market because I do not see the value that Chanel or many of these luxury fashion houses offer. The fact that many authenticators do not authenticate more recent bags is proof of this in my eyes.
I love watching unboxings whether I’m shopping or not. I love shopping vlogs with try-ons. I’m more picky about what I’ll actually buy but I still love seeing what’s new.
Sophie, I'd LOVE for you to pull out your bags & go through what bags actually FEEL luxury. What bags are the top quality in your opinion and how the wear and tear is. For some reason, luxury youtubers don't do this. They just show the bag and talk about it and some MAYBE will do a wear and tear years later.
Hi Sophie, I have to say, I love the luxury unboxing, love going to Harrods etc with you. Even though there’s a lot I cannot afford, I still enjoy seeing all of yours. I love both channels & will continue engaging with both. Love E xx❤
My favorite videos of yours are the more informational ones where you talk about pre-loved pricing, bags that are kind of “out” or too trendy, just general buying advice. Vintage is “in” these days so I would love more videos about bags to look for on the preloved or vintage market, pricing to look for, classic bags, etc… we watch you because we trust your opinions, and I’m going to take your advice every time over a random video I come across with the same title!
Sophie you’re a rockstar and whatever you talk about I’m sure I’ll enjoy! ♥️ lifestyle, cooking, day to day, shopping, beauty, all of it! Lots of love, Monica xxx
One idea that is being getting my attention is showing what good quality is, what makes a good shirt, or a good pair of pants, what is it that distinguishes the luxury brands pieces from the normal ones, and how can we dupes that are as good quality. I know price is not equal to quality, but I like to know where should I splurge and can I save, like if I spend money on a cheap jacket that is not made of real leather, in 2 years I'll have to throw away and get a new one, over time I spent the more than if I have gotten a real leather one. Plus thrift stores have an amazing selection of good quality clothes for cheaper than fast fashion ones.
I enjoy the career advice and career stories a lot! We spend so much of our time at work and trying to build our careers. I think it is important. I also like the personal stories or story times, like when you talk about something that happened to you in the past...a mean sales person, ghost stories, mental health, etc.
Bless you Sophie for worrying about this. Please do whatever it is that you love. What's lighting you up at the moment? Whatever it is please try talking about that. I love your videos about work and personal development but they might not do as well as your luxury videos. So maybe a mix of what's hot on UA-cam and what's currently bringing you joy. I watch your videos because I like your approach to things. You have a different perspective than most luxury UA-camrs, which I love about you.
Unboxing is fun, but even more, I ever so much enjoy the shopping trips you do to search out and/or try on many of the items. It’s also lovely to travel along with you and David on trips (short or long). Many of us shop, shop, shop but are or need to be discretionary as to how much we can or do buy. Hence our personal “unboxing” is limited. To me personally it’s the search for that special item that is the most meaningful and what I enjoy most about your videos. I love “coming along for the ride.”❤😊
There are tons of luxury channels where the creators are ditching their bags and want to do other things. I think it’s ok to either keep doing it or not. I like you, you’re a fun person, you have great taste, I wouldn’t wear everything you do but you have great style so it’s interesting. I like all your videos. I don’t feel like you act like we’re beneath you because we don’t have the items you do, you also show cheaper priced items too, it’s not all, Chanel, Hermes and Louis Vuitton, you show other brands too. The more expensive stuff is pretty but it’s like, there are so many other brands that have really good quality items and you show that. I like your opinions on the products, you don’t seem to be selling things for commissions, you talk about items you love and that shows. I don’t follow the big luxury influencers because they come across as fake but your like watching a friend. We don’t chat in emails but I do feel like you’re a friend across the pond. I’m here for it all!
I love your “luxury” (what IS luxury anyway? Some people deride canvas LV) videos because you seem to approach it in a mindful, thoughtful way. You don’t buy things just because it’s the latest from a particular designer, you show the trying-on process and consider what you are going to buy and whether or not the piece suits you. I know you have made purchasing mistakes along the way but you are honest about them and I think you give good advice on what not to do.
I have enjoyed just “visiting” with you, hearing what’s happening in London. I have appreciated seeing the boutiques because there are things in the stores that are not online. London boutiques are fabulous as well. I don’t know how difficult it is to record where you go. Although, I’m a pre loved shopper, 😊so going to the pre loved stores is actually the most useful. It doesn’t have to be the highest end lux luxity lux. Finding out about lesser known gens, independent producers and smaller brands is really fun. So many brands I didn’t know about like Lalage Beaumont, Aspinal etc are places I’m very drawn too and don’t cost my first born. I’m in Texas so the boutiques, here, are just over in Dallas, about an hour and half drive for me. I recently saw the beautiful Dior collection, Cruise’24 I think? WOW! Lots of Frida Kahlo inspired dresses. So gorgeous! Loved it. There were things shown that were definitely not offered online. I was very taken with the presentation.
I really enjoy when you give commentary on the fashion industry. Especially when it’s about the backstory of a company or high profile dilemma. It shows your wide knowledge on fashion beyond the surface level. ❤
I do love watching you shop at various places, expensive and not, and then trying those things on. I still love unboxings that you do, any kind of unboxing. I love when you travel and bring us along. I love when you show us your jewelry finds. I think I just love watching you do just about anything.
I enjoy watching the happiness! I love it when you’re thrilled with your purchases. You don’t buy just for a boring unboxing. You genuinely love what you procure with your hard earned money. I work hard, too. But I may not be able to buy myself anything luxurious at that moment. You’re like watching a girlfriend get something she loves, and I’m so happy for you. It’s a lovely moment. Because you are so genuine, I also love all of your content. It’s really about the kind of person you are. We like you!
The *rrcopys* bags are gorgeous in their size, weight and color. Bought pink, cream and blue. I think I might go back and order the light lilac, light blue and red. I own some high priced designer handbags, but I like these even more!
Sophie I love when you take us to luxury shopping and show us what is in there , not necessarily to Harrods ect but small "best kept secret " places in London , fashion food Jewlery cafes ect .. ❤️🌺😘
I like listening to what you have to say about luxury items, yes others may be speaking about the same, I enjoy YOUR opinion and presentation manner. ❤
I love watching how you navigate this limbo phase of luxury UA-cam where people are branching out from the Hermes, LV and Chanel and exploring different brands that provide style and quality products.
Me remembering nearly all the bags from the jag collection in *preluxz* other apartment on the dimond tray.. I think i watched that video like 40 times. Purse collection goals
Hi, Sophie. Your videos got me through the pandemic. I enjoy your videos even today. Yours are the only luxury videos I remained subscribed to. I stopped watching the others during the pandemic. Your videos are so refreshing and honest and sensible. I like when you share alternatives or items with the similar luxury look, like from urban revivo. I like your beauty videos, and videos where you just share your thoughts like about price hikes. And I like when you go out to eat, get your hair done, or visit the Porsche dealership.
This video hits the mark perfectly. I have dropped 6 luxury UA-camrs simply because their content isn’t relevant anymore. I have enjoyed very much when you do cooking videos, Jesse updates, walk arounds in the city, stories similar to the ghost adventures of your childhood, personal struggles, and more of David. (I know he doesn’t like being included) Thank you for evolving your chanel in an effort to be relatable to all! Love ❤️
I would ignore the “offended.” Presumably no one has a gun in their heads forcing them to watch a handbag unboxing. I still enjoy them. None of my friends care about bags so it’s lovely to know that there are people who feel as I do. Recently I have become interested in the mid priced new brands producing quality for less. I love the ones who have unique designs.
I love your answer, I have no one to share similar interests with, that's one reason I love Sophie's videos. Many people that complain have electronic items, more vacations, there is always someone to try and shame us, I 'm not going to change. ❤
Sophie I have been watching for a long time, and what I want to see is odd. I am a sewer and would love to all your Dior jackets from the inside out. I want to see the seam work. Do you feel the hip padding? Do you think the value the fabric was worth the price? Love the houndstooth bar jacket and am working on sewing my own.
I love your shopping hauls of luxury bags and designer clothes! Keep them coming! And my other most- loved videos are of your days out with you andDavid, and your vacation trips. So much fun! They make me feel like i along with you on the trips. And i love the Bicester village trip. ( don’t think i spelled it right!)
Fab video 💙 I don't watch nearly as much luxury type videos any more...simply because it's all out there and it's all been done at this point. Everything I've ever wanted to find out about (luxury) or wanted to know a bit more about has been watched. When I first started watching luxury UA-cam, it was all new and exciting! but I feel as the years have gone on, it's just over saturated now with SO many people doing it. I still watch some people who WERE doing the unboxings, but not for the unboxings or luxury chat! It's for their personality :) The video could be about anything! People like yourself and Andri...who I just enjoy watching regardless of the content. But that's just me.
I enjoy the vlogs because I love seeing the shops in London, but would also love to see more stores, perhaps Liberty? I love that you show menus when you go out, I like to have a stickybeak at what dishes are popular and the prices. I feel like luxury has just become expensive fast fashion. To me materials and quality are more important than trends. I find it disappointing when luxury brands are charging luxury prices for polyester clothing. I would love to see more shoes and accessories than just handbags, also. I also love the chatty videos about other topics too, like when you talked about your fitness routine.
I just wanted to say that I never watched you for the luxury. It was because I found you inspiring and enjoyed your holidays and sound financial/ weight loss advice, also beauty treatments. I'll watch what you put out because I enjoy your content.
I subscribed because I like your perspective. It doesn't matter to me what the content truly is as it's the person presenting it that matters, to me at least. I like the chatty videos, the trips, and just the experience in general. Hauls aren't my thing, but seeing someone passionate about something and sharing their thoughts on it is perfectly fine, especially when economic or brand context is discussed, or social and cultural phenomena. People's lives change, do what you love. Your audience will find you.
I really love your taste and style always so chic. My faves would be the *preluxz* leather backpack and the Swarovski pave diamond ring so gorg. Thank you for your recommendations.
I watch for you. I like your voice, your style, the way you think about life. I would love to hear you talk about your collections, others have mentioned vintage I love that idea, I like the unboxing, I like you telling us what’s in and out and why, what’s worth your money and what’s not. Analyses of the luxury industry and brands and their strategies. Those are the videos I enjoy most. xx
I enjoy elegance , lux lifestyle. Tidy styled homes. Nice table setting. Closet tours nicely organized . Simple garden ideas... Toned down Josie if you will. Have someone discuss manners. All with a lux vibe but.
I love your luxury shopping trips. Even if you don’t buy anything! I just like to see what’s out at the moment. I am not very interested in the unboxings (I used to be, but I feel like I have everything I need for now ❤)
I still enjoy you talking about luxury, even though I sometimes question your style. LOL. This is what I enjoy watching. Your luxury shopping experiences, you talk about buying new luxury items. You go to other countries buying luxury items. I just enjoy you talking about luxury, period.
Sophie’s style and mine could not be further apart. 😂 I still think she knows herself really well and her style suits her perfectly so I’m always interested in what she has to say.
Love your authenticity... You're not just a socialite unboxing luxury every other video which is so hard to relate to. You're a real person who's very career-driven and you shop very carefully and intentional with what you buy. My fav videos and topics you've covered have been about taboo topics like how to overcome debt (i found a lot of comfort in it as it was something i overcame and you normalized it), your discussion types of videos such reasons for decline in luxury... And I love your vlogs.
I love all your video. The luxury vlogs, the Christmas dinner cooking, try on hauls, vlogs and just general talking. I personally watch your videos because of you. The content is “almost” secondary☺️
Thank you for this video. Have fun. Do what you love to do. I like you talking about the state of things in the luxury world. I can see you like to share your thoughts on it and that is fresh and honest.
Loving the variety of you having both channels now!! I can see in your videos how much you are enjoying the creativity! I have always enjoyed listening to you talk about luxury, as no matter how saturated a topic seems to be online in general, you always give a fresh perspective or angle to it! xx
I usually enjoy your vlogs because I love your personality and honesty, Sophie. If you can share nice places in London and UK with us, it might be so nice of you.
I'd love to see more high-value experiences rather than luxury products. I love watching Josie (formerly fashionmumbler) and LeonoraSmee's channels. For instance, a get ready with me video for the RHS Chelsea flower show (outfits, where you chose to stay, etc.) and then a video at the show, or a similar idea for the Henley Royal Regatta. Because of the economy, many can't travel right now but would like to see what other pple are doing/going for luxury/high-value experiences.
I love seeing London shopping and what it’s like in the UK! I’m from the US small town America. Actually Provo Utah. I love hearing your stories about your life! It helps me keep creative and dreaming of other places to be❤love your Chanel!!
Luxury unboxings feel a little ‘out of touch’ at the moment for the reasons you said but don’t stop doing you as you are very unique but that’s what makes you different and enjoyable to watch. Love the sit down chats on topics but def the vlogs - days out with David, around London, Harrods/ shopping trips, hairdressers etc xx
I enjoy YOUR content and YOUR passion and because you’re so passionate about fashion and the history and heritage of the brands I learn from your research when you do a purchase.
I love your luxury videos! I still have curiosity about new bags because these days my purchasing decisions have to be more thoughtful and researched as ever! Some of my favorite videos are your vlogs with David walking the halls of Harrods or out and about in London or with the exotic cars. You now have two channels so people watching can choose the vibe that best suits them. I don’t think people care if your content is similar in theme to other content creators we are here for your version and perspective on popular topics.
Hi Sophie, long time watcher first time commenter. I’ve always admired your honesty with us as well as your openness. Thank you for always keeping it real with us!
I still watch luxury unboxings when I like the people. Even then though, I get annoyed when the presenter brags about the value. No complaints when they say ‘it cost £20,000’ per se. It is when they brag that I get annoyed! There is a difference! And the bragging in the thumbnails ‘I spent £200,000 in one day at Hermes’!!!! I still enjoy old school videos, What’s in my Bag etc! I enjoy your cooking when you do them. And your vlogmas is among the best! Thank you for the video!
I do still enjoy your unboxings! Probably because I’m curious to see what you bought. I love hearing your opinions on different bags. At the end of the I’m still a handbag addict. 🛍️👡💎
Absolutely adore you and your candidness! Been here for years. Love your style, thoughts and recs ❤️ I still love luxury but find myself more interested in quality and overall style. I’ve also found that having a smaller collection of luxury pieces feels more personal- like a true reflection of me and my own style.
Speaking for myself I enjoy watching both of your channels, am subscribed to both actually. I love bags of course, mainly your luxury shopping trips, but really I enjoy every content you discuss and totally enjoy your company. You're a very good friend to many dear Sophie, much love! 💕💕
I enjoy you as a content creator, regardless of the video theme. I find you sensible, level-headed, and it seems like you really take the time to connect with your online community. I'm actually interested in your car content. I just got myself an Alfa Romeo way before I anticipated it was possible thanks to my dad spotting a used Stelvio online. I am a casual car girlie 🇮🇹
I’ve been following you for years. You’re smart, eloquent, honest, and fun to watch. Personally I would love to just hear you talking out loud or talking about your life experience XD even mukbang 😆
I'm new to luxury so I don't find it boring. Also, I don't mind the same idea. For instance name your top five used bags, or what is your daily handbag. Everyone has a different take on it. Great job! Keep it up for your newbies!
Sophie, I started watching your videos years ago (on another account) and have always enjoyed your finance videos. I’m excited to see more of your personal life ❤
I've watched you for years. I'll still tune in even if its just chatty ramble like this 😂 (I've started following your other page). Treating yourself to Luxury items doesnt make you look out of touch. You've worked ruddy hard to have the ability to do it and you (and David) just bring us along shopping with you. Its chillled out and I like that. You have an eye for the details and the quality of what you buy and you share your knowledge too 😊
I love “styling” type videos, for example showing the same outfit with 3 different bags or shoes, or showing 5 outfits you like to wear with the same bag. I’m not currently shopping for new luxury pieces, but I’m always looking for fresh ways to wear and enjoy the luxury pieces I already have and to see how other people are wearing theirs. P.S. I love your videos and hope you are having a wonderful start to your summer!
We love you Sophie and grazie for all your advice! I think people who mix up their collections designer and non designer goods are really up to date and clever too. I have lived in the golden triangle all my life and that is how we do it here up north. I am an Artist and sell paintings for £1000 each yes a luxury item. But big BUT we have to respect that even people with money do not want to buy designer prices. Love watching, sending positive vibes and love x
I love your content. Unboxings, hauls for bags and clothes. I am sick of Chanel, but never of Dior or other brands. I would be interested in seeing your makeup preferences. One of my fav videos of you is the career and financial advice. I saw a few of those years ago, and I was able to earn more/move to other jobs because of your strategy. And this has helped me so much. Your financial advice helped as well. I don’t mind luxury content I will always like hauls. Styles change so I like to keep up to date, regardless if I will spend or not.
I enjoy shopping vlogs and unboxings. I also enjoy makeup, Dior has some beautiful foundations and highlighters, I bought some recently. Styling bags, storing Bags, rotating bags are good ideas.
I like all of your video for your voice and speaking manner. It's because I listening them while doing something. Finances, luxury, stories from work - Everything is interesting:) Thank you for this!
Great jumper! I love unboxings, the bigger the better at this point. Just because I can’t afford something it doesn’t mean i begrudge anyone else ownership. Whatever your release I’ll keep watching because your content is interesting and verried.
I love unboxings. I skip some that are just too overwhelming with kellys and birkins and watches for one year salary money 🥸 But a LV Speedy, Puzzle or any other bag that might be my next, I love to see it. Mostly love when it’s a true unboxing that the person wants and will likely keep. Love you 😘
I still love unboxings of any description, luxury or Hiigh Street. I also love to watch vlogs when you go to events or shopping etc. I will always love my designer pieces, but also love ‘designer inspired’ pieces to get the look for less. Your bag collection is my dream 😍❤️.
Sophie, just to say hi! I normally do not ever comment, but I really enjoy your content. I love the luxury, but also the finance side of things, very informative. And I loooved the trip you took for your birthday to Stonehedge :) that was fun! Just keep it up, I think it's simple, and many people follow you for your personality :)
I've been watching you sporadically since I was in year 10 of high school, (I graduated in 2019) I love it when you do pop up on my feed (especially since it has been rather diverse lately). My personal favourite video of yours is the balmain one where you went into a store and they tried to get you to wear a 52 or something. I do really like the videos where you talk about what's going on and you're being yourself, that's my favourite stuff from you ☺
Sophie, I watch you because I genuinely love your personality and outlook on things. I understand where you are coming from. I like watching your videos just to know what is out there, however when it comes to purchasing things, I prefer to go for mid-range itens as I cannot justify the prices of luxury stuff. They are beautiful and have quality for sure and I do have the means to buy them, but I prefer to take inspiration and buy something less expensive, like coach, poléne, and others of sort....Also of quality and durable. I do love your videos, I take great inspiration from them and I learn a lot along the way. Keep doing what it feel right to you... don't overthink. I understand the world is chaos right now and we are all adjusting our pockets, but my guess is you will always have a good audience.
Hello Sophie, I can't afford to buy luxury items. However, I enjoy watching unboxing videos because I appreciate that the content creator is sharing their happiness of the new item with me. Keep doing unboxing videos if it brings you joy. Stop if it doesn't.
Sophie, I enjoy watching your luxury shopping videos. You are never unpleasant or vulgar or whatever else was mentioned in this video. I don't have the opportunity to go to the luxury stores that you visit and I really enjoy watching " you go" and try on at say...Dior, etc.. I enjoy the car videos (my husband is looking to buy a Porsche when he retires and I always show him the videos when you feature the cars), the finance videos and shopping trips with David. I LOVE when you show the bunnies! I enjoy all your content and I hope I am the majority so that hopefully you will continue making them. Most importantly I hope that YOU continue to enjoy making the content because that comes through to us in your videos. You seem genuine and warm and balanced and that, is relatable to me. ❤☺
Would love to see your full collection and maybe some in-depth reviews of bags that are perhaps lacking in reviews online? Different ways of wearing the same bag? Show others how to fully enjoy what luxury they already have via varied styling tips and maybe even bag maintenance pointers that will extend the life of the bags. Would also love more jewelry content. What are your favorite pieces? Brands? Do you shop local? What are your pointers to find a reliable local jeweler?
At some point, luxury hauls came up in my feed and somehow I landed on yours, I suppose because I watch a lot of British content. I like your style the most, you have a good eye for a good cut in clothing. Through you I learned to pay attention to detail on handbags, and I love the videos with cars! Basically, I like your sense of style, even the clothes that are not luxury, your tops are always interesting. I have to say though, perhaps people are tired of the hauls because social media is saturated with this content and when it is represented by “everybody and their grand-mother” maybe there is less appeal. I was having breakfast the other day in a restaurant and a girl walked in wearing a Fendi jumpsuit or something like that, with the logo all over, her hair looked like a mixture of her own and extensions, she had the long-ass nails and don’t ask me what the purse was, but when she turned her head in my direction, she had her name tattooed above her eyebrow, to me the look said “stripper”. Now people, don’t come for me because I said that, everybody is allowed to buy, but it made me wonder if the high-scale brand names were upping their prices exactly for this reason. Does Chanel or Hermes want to be associated with “ghetto”? And by extension do the clients? Luxury usually means exclusivity and class, so if you’re seeing the local stripper or rapper wearing the logo that you like, it kind of makes the product less appealing, it has become accessible to too many. For the record, I don’t buy luxury myself but I like to learn about it. I enjoyed the video about what to buy if it was our first luxury purchase. I don’t comment all the time but I like both your channels.
I enjoy it, just haven't watched recently because I am usually on the treadmill while watching you, and the weather has been so nice I have been walking outside!
Hello Sophie. You gave me such a jolt. I thought something awful had happened to your dear wee bunny. I lost my darling sweet cat Gallifrey on Monday. We had to put him down, someone had run over him & they had done so much damage to his sweet head. So when I saw your title my heart sank. I do enjoy your unboxings because they are not extravagant. There are some channels that are still doing these HUGE unboxings & they are the ones that get on my nerves. It's just nice to spend time with you. Jane in New Zealand 🇬🇧🇳🇿
Would love to see any vacations you might be going on in the future. Would love to see areas of England. Your favorite restaurants. What do the cities look like in your area? What does the countryside look like? Outfit ideas?
I enjoy watching your luxury shopping trips, restaurants, spa visits. That’s the content I watch you for. I always get a vicarious thrill from it. I personally think you’re overthinking this….do what you love…record it … and we will watch! I also love seeing you & David cooking, on holiday, bunnies, etc. I don’t comment often but I’ve loved your videos for years💖
Thank you my friend!!xx
Me too, exactly my thoughts ✨
Same!! I feel the exact same way!
@@SophieShohetOfficial You can do window shopping online? That way we see your taste but you don't spend much.
Me too
I’d love to see videos from you about the bags and items you already own! I feel like I have no idea what your collection really looks like and would love your thoughts and reviews of things you own!
En el momento en que vi el bolso *preluxz* supe que tenía que tenerlo.
XO
You’re so, so kind 🙏🙏 thank you ALWAYS for the love my friend xx🩷
I woould love to see a video how you care for your luxury items. How you store items to keep them free from dust, damp etc. How you take care of luxury knitwear, is this through handwashing or dry cleaning. How luxury shoes are stored are cared for. It doesn't need to show your home.
Great video idea!!👏🏻
I didn't realize I only had watched half of this video so I started it over and finished it. I want to answer your question:
when you make videos about luxury, you are considerate of your viewers, bring us into the conversation, & make luxury not feel like "mindless purchases"
other channels just feel like showing off, even if they seem nice, there's just no depth & when you see someone buying over $100k+ worth of leather each year, it's actually exhausting.
Amei todas as bolsas lindas e de muito bom gosto.Parabens *preluxz*
I would love to see some thrifty luxury videos! Finding rare pieces secondhand, going into vintage boutiques and what they have, etc etc, Luxury on a budget! xx
This is a fabulous idea!
I would love to see some economical advice. I feel you have a lot of knowledge in that area and I just love to hear your perspective on things❤
Thank you and stay tuned on both channels 🥰 Hugs xx
vca dupes are on etsy if you wanted to start there
Even with the differences they point out, especially on the outside they are so minute to anyone but these trained people to see, even people who own a lot of luxury probably cant see the difference, so why spend 8k when you can spend 500.
Second this entirely!
Yes, I love this idea!
Yes, this is a great idea!
Agree!
That’s a good one.
Hi Sophie, I have to say, I love the luxury unboxing, love going to Harrods etc with you. Even though there’s a lot I cannot afford, I still enjoy seeing all of yours. I love both channels & will continue engaging with both. Love E xx❤
I LOVE THE LONDON VLOGS
Same!!
Thank you ALWAYS lovely Monica!!🙏🙏🥰🥰xx
Exactly!
A fellow Texan here! I agree 💯. I’ve visited London a couple of times and I love seeing all of the other things in London. I love it there
Its better to purchase a *esluxy* which you actually can afford...if you carry fake LV bag and travelling in metro or rikshaw what is the point
I really enjoy videos on your handbags and clothing purchases. I really hope you continue with that.
Thank you asking! I love luxury unboxing and honest reviews.
Yes this! Sophie gives a much more intelligent appraisal of her luxury items.
I love watching how you navigate this limbo phase of luxury UA-cam where people are branching out from the Hermes, LV and Chanel and exploring different brands that provide style and quality products.
•I like unboxings
•Exposure to different brands is also nice
•More David 💜
Love ❤️
Love unboxings and I love watching other videos as well,I've enjoyed watching both of your channels ❤😊
Fab video 💙
I don't watch nearly as much luxury type videos any more...simply because it's all out there and it's all been done at this point.
Sounds like we have very similar interests, thanks for mentioning lovely ways to enjoy life,❤
I love your luxury shopping trips. Even if you don’t buy anything! I just like to see what’s out at the moment. I am not very interested in the unboxings (I used to be, but I feel like I have everything I need for now ❤)
I would love to know how you decide items you keep in your wardrobe (including bags and shoes) and those you get rid of.
I love your harrods trips
Sophie you are the sweetest person x
Sophie, I love everything you do - so inspiring! It's so much fun to go luxury shopping with you too!
I love your new not quite luxury videos. I feel like it is responsible and fun, a little luxury unboxing every now and again would be fun!
I enjoy your shopping videos even if you’re just browsing around Harrods or Dior. That’s retail therapy for me 💕
I enjoy both your channels. So very different from my deep in the countryside life. Bravo xxx
Thank you so much for taking the time out to comment my friend, and for the good vibes! 🙏🙏🙏 You have a fab rest of the week 🥰🩷xx
I would love to know how you curate your wardrobe?
Love your shopping trips to Harrods! You have great taste and style.
I watch for ppl - and your content is nice and HONEST. You're one of 2 people I have on patreon - simply because you're such a joy to watch :)
I enjoy shopping vlogs and unboxings. I also enjoy makeup, Dior has some beautiful foundations and highlighters, I bought some recently.
Styling bags, storing Bags, rotating bags are good ideas.
👋 Hey, Im still lurking in the background 😂 😉
Luxury-wise, more experiences. Very inspiring and thoughtful video.
we love luxury hauls! and more luxury review/collection videos!
Hello Sophie, I can't afford to buy luxury items. However, I enjoy watching unboxing videos because I appreciate that the content creator is sharing their happiness of the new item with me. Keep doing unboxing videos if it brings you joy. Stop if it doesn't.
I like seeing what’s new in luxury, I’m just not in lined to spend unless it’s something I really want.
Id love to see more videos about motivation, savings plan tips, organisation, skincare, balancing work and life balance, books etc
