- I use a microscope to thoroughly analyze a card before I begin to work on it. Here's why I think it's an important step.

What took so long for this video Kurt ? I bought mine a year ago and I still don't know how to turn on the lights like you do ! How do you turn on the lights Kurt ? It's nowhere in the option menu.
There’s a touchpad on mine.

@@Gregory-js3mt it’s on the base. If yours has lights attached, it should be pretty easy to see. It’s right above where the card will be laying . I just pressed every button when I got mine then got used to it.

Any suggestions on print lines?
I would use card polish on them to see if you can get them to reduce. They’re typically permanent but sometimes they’re streaks of substance and they can wipe away.
@@kurtscardcare was afraid of that. Figure if anyone knew it would be you haha. Luckily they are fairly generous when it comes to dbs and print lines.
What magnifying glass are you using? Is it connected to your phone or iPad?
It’s a standalone unit, I got it on Amazon. It’s a 7 inch digital microscope.
