Hi! I use to work as a character and VFX animator but in current scenario (WGA strike and all...) got laid off and trying my way out into gaming industry as an animator. I'm learning Motion builder and Unreal Engine (Blueprint and stuffs...) from online tutorials. Now I'm a bit confused about what to show in my demoreel? Do I need to learn keyframe animation in motion builder? Or is it just existing motion capture data cleanup and implementation? There are very less tutorial on how to do complete key-frame animation in motion builder. Just saw your demoreel and its amazing as you've described that the entire animation is keyframe animation in motion builder. Can you please guide me on that? Thank you!

@@MattCourtoisAnim Wonderfull. Are You going to show also some technical animation stuff? Or it will be pure art channel?

@@donpreclone1960 Gameplay animation isn't pure art. While I won't be focusing on pure tech anim topics such as rigging and physics, a huge chunk will be how to work with state machines, create and debug anim systems, and more.
