  • Massage guns, or percussion massage guns, usually come with several heads or attachments. Here's a general overview of what each one can be used for, and what area of the body it works on best. Buy a Mebak 3 Massage Gun at amzn.to/3oEJRCn (affiliate link)
    When used correctly, massage guns and their various head attachments can help relieve general soreness and help in injury recovery.
    Today I am using the Mebak 3 which comes with 7 different head attachments. Massage guns from other companies may come with different, or not as many, heads.

    I bought a massage gun, but it only has the fork, ball and bullet attachments. Didn't really know where to use them. Your video has really helped. Thanks.

    This is great information, Thank you. For mid back around the rib area which head is better to use and not to be too intense please

    • @AskDoctorJo
      @AskDoctorJo  4 місяці тому +1

      Thanks, and you're welcome. It depends on which massage heads come with your massage gun, but sometimes there is one that has more of a rubber type top and it's designed to have more cushion to it. Otherwise, the ball would probably be the second best for not being as intense.

    Hello Dr. Jo! I admit that this is a sensitive question but I trust your judgement I've always had a real dull ache in my perineum! My urologist says that well that's kind of a sensitive area down there so that's to be expected once in awhile to cords in the testicles really hurt, buddy check me out again and said that it's really just from stress and strain after I had my radical robotic prostatectomy surgery and started to heal up again I started using the massage gun on this area and it gave me quite a bit of relief I just wanted to know if you could elaborate a bit what are your thoughts on that?

    • @AskDoctorJo
      @AskDoctorJo  2 роки тому +1

      Unfortunately, that's not my specialty, so I really don't know. Did you have any physical therapy after your surgery? A PT who specializes in the pelvic floor would probably be able to help answer your questions and give you a program that would help.
