Thx, Nia! I will do this on a sketchbook page I am dedicating to my mom. One of my earliest memories of her was when she gave me and my sis soapy water and a long leaf vein that she tied into a loop… Then off we went making bubbles! =)
that sounds amazing! I'm sure she'll appreciate it ^_^
this is such a unique idea, looks like a lovely way to fill a sketchbook page relatively quickly ☺
Yess! Very true! Great for those filler pages :))
Love these bubbles!
Iovely❤,light, luminous floating bubbles! Thank you for sharing.

Yess! It's good practice for basic techniques :))
You have some serious patience, which is why I love your art. I could not do this, which is fine. We all have various talents we can enjoy. Thanks for sharing! ❤
Aww I'm sure you can do it too! It's actually really relaxing once you get used to it :)) You can try using one colour first with the technique then add more once you're used to it

Hi! How come you use Dr. Martin’s white instead of gauche? I have no idea, that’s why I’m asking. LOVE your videos. ❤
Beautiful✨❤ dear friend❤
Thank you!
Thank you for this! I just did a bubble bath watercolor the other week but my bubbles don’t look quite right. I look forward to redoing that painting with your method of bubbles.
All the best!
Looove! Thank you Eugenia🥰
Pleasure!
Would a beginner be able to do that I love it like a real beginner 😂
You can try using 1 colour first and get used to the technique like brush load, consistencies and creating negative shapes. Once you're used to it, you can try using more colours, because the colours can be a bit distracting :) Hope this helps!
me first watching this video: ohh this looks pretty and quite simple! imma try it for sure!
me now after rewatching the video ten times and still don’t get the same result: what did i do wrong? can I give up now? 😂
So cute ! I immediately clicked after I saw the thumbnail. .. definitely gonna be a fun and adorable piece to paint ... and moreover relaxing too ... thank you ... your tutorials make my day better .... I am so happy right now 😊😊
One question : what sketchbook do you suggest for watercolors ? A more affordable one .. my sketchbook has only 2 - 3 pages left so yeah ....
Depending on where you live, the sketchbooks suggested by others may not be available or prohibitively expensive. For me, I'm considering binding my own sketchbook because it's too hard to find a premade one with the paper I like.
I really like Canson XL/montval. I've also used brands like Arto, but I always find Canson paper is the strongest (doesn't get damaged as easily as other I've used), but like @Trang Le said, the price and availability will greatly differ depending on where you live.
@@Nianiani thank you so much for the reply. . I appreciate it ...:)
This screams summer for me! If I want to add a background, am I supposed to sketch, paint the background around the sketch, then paint the bubbles?
hmm I think it would be difficult to add a background, I might use some masking tape or fluid to leave the bubbles and paint the background first using wet on wet so it's not in focus, thn add the bubbles with the added background in the middle
Just so pretty. But I will leave the bubbles to you as I know mine will be an epic fail
Don't underestimate yourself ... you can do it and I believe in you ... that's what tutorials are for .. if you fail once, then try again ... I am not some big pro myself but I make sure to try the pieces that seem challenging to me ... if you find this hard then try easy paintings then come back to make this one ....
Hope it helps you to make up your mind to do it some day ...
Sorry for the long advice
Wrong attitude GF! 🙂 Not very experienced myself, but am trying right now in my 'practice' book. I can't draw, so the fact this can be with traced circles is a good start! No drawing required. :-D Do give it a try. If you're not thrilled with the first one, then try it again. You can do this.
You can do it!! Try using 1 colour first to get used to the technique starting with the circle in a thick consistency then using a clean damp brush to drag some of the paint inwards while leaving negative shapes. Once you get used to using 1 colour, you can start adding more :)) Hopefully this exercise can help
Thank you everyone for your kind words and advice
Where can I get this brush you use? All of mine are flimsy. Yours is stiff
In art stores or online. the brands that I use are most likely chinese, but a more well known brand for synthetic brushes are reeves and lyra. They're very cheap as well :):)
🍃Nia do you make your string threaded watercolor books or purchase? ❤🍃
I made them 😊
@@Nianiani Is it easy to make them, if so do you have an earlier episode on the process?
@@carmmk6630 I have a full Skillshare class on it :) You can go to the link in the description box for a free month membership if you've never been a member before
