As a 48 year old person learning music theory and how to properly play instruments, I have to tell you that your UA-cam tutorials have helped me more than any other single source of information. And now, as I encounter a new lesson or chapter in my theory books, I don't feel like I can absorb them until I go check to see "How does Gracie explain this?" first. THANK YOU for taking the time to share your knowledge of music and for breaking everything down into digestible, really understandable terms, even for my middle aged brain. :)

I'm proud of you for learning music theory! It always intimidated me; but I have been seriously studying and watch Gracie's wonderful videos. She is a wonderful teacher. The best circle of fifth's explanation I have ever seen. 🎶

Thank you Ms Gracie, and no apologies needed. Your methods of teaching are so accessible. Starting with chords you are helping us to "ear train", and your idea of singing the intervals is also teaching us to recognize, to hear, intervals. Combining your theory with teaching our ears is so very helpful. Thanks so much.

This was soooo much fun !! xD
But crazy too ... in first part, I got 5 wrong. :S
Don't want to talk about the rest ... lol
    Those half-step changes are tricky.
    This is so challenging !!

It would be very interesting if you could add a small shortcut, associating chords and their inversions with memorable songs. I think that would be very helpful for identifying them more quickly. When you played the first inversion of a minor chord, 'Still D.R.E.' resonated in my head. Thank you!

Just when I thought I was doing so well, too. I'm absolutely hopeless at this, Gracie. It bothers me that I don't have a good ear for music. Major for minor & minor for Major... damn! Anyway, I shall persevere.
