Loving this truck, I’m a bit biased as my first truck was an 04 gmc crew cab loved it. Put 140k on it and sold as I needed room for 6 kids when we found out we were having second set of twins.
I would go with your lift first, because your performance will be hurt severely after. That way when you do boost the power, you can appreciate it. Just my 2 cents 👍
I think that it would be interesting to do a $1000-2000 budget just as an example of what can be done on a budget. But whatever you do with the truck I will 100% be keeping up with this series
Love the truck looks just like mine but mine is midnight blue and dark gray interior.. I put a 524 lift cam in in my 05 GMC Sierra SLT crew cab 5.3 with tune. Running mid length headers. With 3 inch. 1 in and 2.5 inch 2 out the back with super 10 with rolled 4 inch tips. Love the sound. Have alot of compliments.
Beautiful truck. I have the Yukon version of it. 240k miles and still going strong. A great cheap mod that I have enjoyed is sending off the instrument cluster and having the trans temp gauge added. Super nice when you are towing.
Love the videos. But I can’t wait to here the exhaust when I get done you should really do straight pipes dumped at 90s and would love to see performance upgrades before the lift
I think a video of changing the rest of the fluids would be cool to see. Front diff, rear diff and transfer case. Did all that on mine recently and it’s interesting to see what condition those fluids are in. If you decide to do that these transfer cases take GM autotrak II fluid
Love the truck its almost identical to my 04 silverado almost identically optioned out mine has 275000 miles expect transmission issues around 220 to 250,000 mine went out at 248,000 my engine hasn't had any issues other than nock sensors needed replaced also watch your exhaust manifolds they will get hot and the bolts will break and you'll get pretty bad exhaust leaks ALSO VERY IMPORTANT watch your transfer case if it has oil all over it around the top and its not clearly leaking from the seals you need to take it apart and replace the transfer case oil pump bracket because it has 4 tabs that sit in the aluminum case on the back and the bracket for the oil pump is only about as thick as a quarter and over miles it will wear through the housing and cause it to leak all the oil out. There is more information in detail online look up transfer case oil pump issues.
Anybody else doing this be sure to get the denso O2 sensor only. They are on rock auto for a better than your local auto parts store. Also threads may strip off into O2 sensor bung depending on if you have been having a good day and need that one thing to bring you back down to reality for a day or two. An exhaust shop with a 18mm female end O2 sensor bung may be in your plans unexpectedly. Once again local auto parts store may not have this either but most exhaust shops do. Be prepared to really hear a clapped out truck for the trip to the exhaust shop or to get a tow truck to the only one open on a Saturday afternoon that has a welder and some bungs on hand. Okay rant over and that CEL not being on sure is a good feeling. Change out both same time if you can. Excited for this build man
I 2nd the denso o2s. Replaced all 4 of mine with those. 0 problems aside from getting to the 2 before the cats in the front and the clips. 😂 quality parts tho and runs good oh and not to mention they’re cheaper on rock auto.
I had to replace that same one on my 2006 GMC Yukon - I just unbolted the drive shaft and moved out of the way with my battery impact. On Star was able to run a diagnostic and tell me the code. Funny, my code cleared by having the negative terminal disconnected.
I had an O2 sensor go bad on my first car and when I replaced it, it took 2 weeks for the check engine light to turn off. It probably has to collect enough data before the light will turn off. Obviously, it's better to just clear the code once you replace the bad sensor.
Lmao that’s funny the fact the ONE you have to replace is the one that was the hardest for me to do when I did all 4 of mine. The rest are pretty easy😂 I definitely would’ve just did all 4 while you’re doing that. That’s just me tho. Next one will go out soon either way then ur under doing the same job. I was satisfied knowing all mine were new and I got a pretty good mileage boost too
had the same issue except mine was mis firing terribly. code claimed my bank 1 sensor 1 same as yours was bad, but it turned out it was the only good one of all my up and downstream o2’s on both sides. so about 500 dollars later she’s running right 😂. those little sensors are so annoying
I had 04 GMC extended cab Magnaflow cat back cold air intake 3 in leveling kit. And brush guard. How to get rid of it because my kids were getting bigger. I miss that truck ..
There’s is a 20 5.3 so there is tuning available unlike the 21 6.2. I don’t think they ever got that truck back 100% either. I’d like to do those things though
I love this truck bro. You definitely should lift it 6” lift and 37.12.50/18s mud grapplers on some custom offsets. That shit will look sick as tits lol

I’ll be excited for the full build! You should do the exhaust tips out the corners of the bumper.
Legally, O’Reilly can delete memory codes and clear check engine light, the employees just didn’t wanna do it😂

I like that Sierra, I'm looking forward to seeing everything you do with it
Transmission fluid and filter change, do a Corvette servo, Headers, Port your throttle body, Get it tuned, this will become your favorite truck!
Love the videos. But I can’t wait to here the exhaust when I get done you should really do straight pipes dumped at 90s and would love to see performance upgrades before the lift
You should get long barrel 6in tips for the true duals. Would sound amazing
Love the truck looks really nice probably my favorite truck on the channel other than larry of course. I have a 1999 Lariat so I am a little biased.

I absolutely love this truck
Performance 🔥and shout out from Houston man love the channel
Can’t wait for the exhaust vid on this thing🔥
Definitely do more exhaust videos those are my favorite
Long tube true dual to a super 10 flowmaster x to 6” sounds👌🏼 stage 3 can chop

GMC is slick can’t beat a classic man !!
Nice video just got me a 06 sierra and love it. Gotta look for the name. Lol
I've been looking for a truck like that it beautiful
The vegeta reference is way to funny. I feel your pain man. Keep making great content
Great vid love your content.
No suggestion hear I'll just what to see what you do and do what makes you happy. As always be safe 👍
Nice truck to add to the fleet bro! Would love to hear how true duals sound with high-flow cats 🤔.
Highly recommend if u have time and money. Do them all at the same time. Will help a ton!!!
Based on your Instagram post on what lift to go with. High enough to clear 37s 💪
Great stuff!!
Can't wait too hear it true dual 👍👍👍
That truck looked really clean underneath
Great vid.
Cool video

That truck Is nice . Sounds nice too.
nice truck man
I installed a 3" muffler on my 5.3 cateye and it sounds awesome and no drone
That clip with vegeta had me dying 😂😂😂
I just got done watching the other two vids on this truck lol
Do an oil catch can, especially on those 5.3s helped me a lot w oil consumption.
🔥🔥🔥

Can’t wait to see an off-road video
Can’t wait to hear the pipes!!!
I see u got some new boots for ur truck, they lookin good 👍 & while I was watchin this video I wish I had small ✋️ & arms like yours. Lol 😆 🤣
True dual’s 2.50 all the way back into an X-pipe. You won’t regret the sound.
hay man lone the vid's keep up the good work!!!!!
love****
The trucks power level is over 9000!!!!!!
I’m telling you, a canned silverado with true duals sounds soooo good
The Dragon Ball Z clip man it’s been a while since I seen that 😂😂😂
That’s a nice friggen truck
Has multiple vehicles and chooses to drive to the parts store in the truck he’s going to be working on and gets it hot 😂😂
Do true duals to 5 inch tips with the cats still on it for us! Have the same exact truck and have always wanted them
Badass video bro what is the part number for the o2
I’ve always thought that pinch tips behind each tire looks best on that body style
It’s going to come back by on my dad has an 03 Silverado that has almost 600,000 miles on it and it always has a check engine light.
Evap code?
@@gtaman9 most likely an evap code. 😂 like mine, but it takes gas and runs strong
had the same issue except mine was mis firing terribly. code claimed my bank 1 sensor 1 same as yours was bad, but it turned out it was the only good one of all my up and downstream o2’s on both sides. so about 500 dollars later she’s running right 😂. those little sensors are so annoying
Should put a stage 2 comp cam in it and tune it. Would sound killer
Definitely do performance first I’d love to see you drop the back a lil and and make her a little “race truck”
Big rims and tires for the GMC.
And that was my blue cateye at Howard’s they finally got the alignment fixed of it😂
Please do the true duals with 6inch tips
Ironically when I first bought my 09 Kia Rio almost a year ago, I drove it home and the light came on for the 02 sensors aswell
So question I have to change my o2 sensor 04 cateye today did I heard to say you had the battery term taken lose why ?
The dbz clip was perfect lol
Looks like good time to throw some new u joints in the front drive shaft😂
I had 04 GMC extended cab Magnaflow cat back cold air intake 3 in leveling kit. And brush guard. How to get rid of it because my kids were getting bigger. I miss that truck ..
Try pinched tips out the side? Just a suggestion
First also is your hand good you said “ow transmission is hot”?
I wish mine came out that easy 😂😂
Performance first!
Corsa exhaust
What happened to the snow?
show how to fit some wide 37s
Really wanna see nitto graps on this truck please
Do duals straight out the back
we’re waiting on those straight pipes and long tubes
new headlights and some 35” grapps would make this thing absolutely perfect!!!!!!!! please get mud grapps !!!!!!!
You could do a video pulling off the factory fender flares but also kinda scary
I will be 👍🏻
Go with the super 10 flowmaster no cats it'll give some clapped out but not as bad as a straight pipe no cats
7 to 9 fts and color match
What was the code number? I think I have the same issue.
I was just about to say that you needed clear the code
What is your mileage on that truck
The reason why they don't clear codes for people, because if something was ever to happen to their vehicle they wouldn't be the blame for it.
That dbz clip Lmfaoooooo
look at the bell life vlogs 2020 silverado. they threw a supercharger and long tubes on it you should do something similar
There’s is a 20 5.3 so there is tuning available unlike the 21 6.2. I don’t think they ever got that truck back 100% either. I’d like to do those things though
I think you should do a big lift bubba setup
Love that toyota tundra
I love this truck bro. You definitely should lift it 6” lift and 37.12.50/18s mud grapplers on some custom offsets. That shit will look sick as tits lol
Texas speed for motor upgrades
You should put a lowering kit on this truck to reach a different group of viewers.
Long tubes with magnaflow magnapacks 🤤
true duals plz
37” mud grapplers on stock wheels pleassssse.
I love your tires on your truck but after hearing how loud they are forget it
What happened to Larry’s lift
Put the 12 wides on it
