COMBINING MUTATIONS GUIDE: ARK SURVIVAL EVOLVED

If you are into breeding in ark then make sure that you get your moneys and times worth. A lot of people spend their time breeding for mutations and combining mutations without actually knowing how to do it! this guide will show you how to combine mutations and get everything that you need done in order to be a top tier breeder in ark for pvp or pve.
This tutorial is part of my channel for Ark, to help give you locations, hints, helps, guides,tips, cheats, glitches, cheese, the easy way, and whatever you might want to call these sorts of videos! :)

I tame a ton of wild dino's when I start. I am looking for the best health, stamina, weight and melee that I can find. I use the dino's stats for a name. For example: H500 S500 W500 M500. I breed all of the wild dino's together until I end with 1 Male and 6 (or more) Female's that all have the exact same stats. Those dino's are my baseline. The baseline dino's need to all have matching health, stamina, weight and Melee. At this point I get rid of the wild dino's and any babies that do not have matching stats. I breed the baseline dino's over and over and over. I get rid of any duplicates of the parents and any mutations to food or oxygen. I keep any mutations to H, S, W or M. In the name I put M next to the stat that changed. For example: MH700 S500 W500 M500. You want the mutations on the Male. You breed the mutated male with the baseline females. If you keep doing that you can stack multiple mutations. Note, only focus on one stat at a time. Have a breeding line for each stat. Only combine the breeding line's together after you have stacked mutations in each stat.

This is what I'm attemping on a boosted server and it's still taking an eternity. Currently have 5 'clean' melee mutations, trying for 20.

Only been playing for a few months but I use almost this same process but only do 2 stats on F line & 2 stats on M line ( ie HP & Attack on F's & Stam & Wt on M's) with 1 ma & 3-5 F's breeding per stage. Also for the naming convention I use this - example "M h34 #66 2/1" for male with a HP stat 34, color mutation #66, 2 Mat & 1 Pat mutation count . With this you can see even when in Cryo or Soul ball what it is just by name alone.

I have a problem. I have a female Rex with 1 heath mutation. I bred her with a clean stud with same stats minus the hp mutation. I’ve bred them tons of times and killed all the babies because none of them inherit the 1 hp mutation. The mom is 248 but the babies always come out 246. Am I bugged or can mutation carryover rate be really this bad? I even mutated the baby and it was lvl 248 but with 2 mutations which should have made it lvl 250. The clean stud (my perfect male and female) is lvl 246.

Not sure if I am wording this correctly but.... I have tames on official PVE with great stats, but mutations have huge numbers on each side. If I tame a low level tame, then breed the stats into it, will that tame have zero mutations on one side, meaning I can get another 20 mutations?
