Wym they completely took any skill out of it just take a owl the same as always and get one good egg raise it then you can bite all the wyverns while they try to do their breath attack

i iust hope they fix the engrams since you can't unlock any dlc engrams which means you can ride any dlc dinos that require a saddle without transfering a prev character from the dlcs
I agree definitely a Amazing job by the devs, been playing ark since beta, (freaking 7 years! )they’ve always had cool boss fights and arenas and fenrir is no different.

Surprised they added Rock Drakes. Out of every single Ark Exclusive creatures that wasn't a mod map addon the drakes seemed like the only creature that you would ever only be able to get on Abb without mods. Really happy they kept them in Fjordur as their basically finally of official free map.

Wildcard didn't make the map. It was made by someone else and Wildcard paid them to finish the map and use it as an official community map. Edit: Same goes for Crystal Isles, Ragnarok, Lost Island, The Centre, and Valguero.
@@clexps7917 noglins and bloodstalkers absolutely have to be on fjordur and also managamrs could be in jotenheim. Bloodstalkers would be on vanneheim and the noglins would be on Asgard with the Shadowmanes.

Seeing this map really makes me want to see some TLC for the older maps, like to bring new assets in to improve certain biomes and their design, and some new creature variants added here and there, but I don't see that happening. Imagine how much better The island, scorched, center and rag could look if it had some of these new designs and perhaps creatures as well.
Mild missed opportunity to have every “dragon” species on one map since there are no manas. Especially since managarmr is like a Nordic inspired name right? Oh well. Still super excited and hyped. We can get every egg steal tame on one map now!
Managarmr means moon hound, it refers to Hati, one of the two worg children of Fenrir, Skoll being the other which chases the sun. Earlier before the release of Extinction, the managarmr was just called worg. How they went from large intelligent wolf to lanky, mutated, frost breathing, jet pack leg, thing I don't know. It is a fun creature though. But the Fenrir wolf you can get on this map is more in line with the Nordic demi god wolves.
Me and my friend run our own server. We added the Paleo, ark additions: the collection, and additional creatures 2: wild ark mods. It's an absolute mad house but let me tell you, it's definitely fun hunting things cuz there's just so much and on fjord I had no idea that so many would only spawn in certain areas, so going anywhere new is just that much more.... new! there always seems to be something I haven't encountered. You'd think it would be too much but it's not. I just lost my lvl 235 carchodontasaur to a lvl 50 stag Beatle; I wasn't even mad, I went in unprepared and that's what I get, now I want that beatle (lucanidae) lol

I find it interesting that Manas aren't on here since the name Managarmr is derived from old Norse and its assumed to be a reference to Hati, the wolf that swallows the moon during Ragnarok and one of the world bosses on the map. Then again I can't remember if they were on the mod map so that might be why
such a amazing map i love it when they have all the creatures in one map i hate having to hop around in clusters my computer just cant handle that the one downside is that if only fjordur had a hidden tech zone then it would be perfect i know it would break the immersion of vikings and all but its the only thing missing.
I kinda hope for ark 2 they add a mechanic to dinos where instead of just instantly going for you they have to sense you and will look around the area for you it probably won’t happen but it’s not a bad idea
Been loving all these new videos. Would be nice to have a base / starter base locations, or guide video. Im struggling hard with finding a safe place to start off at.

wow what a way for ark 1 to end there ways . giving us almost every creature from every map into one huge final map! i couldnt be happier . especially when i host of free to play maps ! this one buy far is my favorite map now rag is 2nd place
I have a problem, not sure if it's just me or wildcard made a mistake but on a fresh character you cannot unlock dlc engrams on the map, which personally wouldn't be that big of an issue if it weren't for the fact that many of the saddles for creatures found on the map you can't unlock the engram for so you have to find BPs for them on the map with cheats. It's exatebated by the previous map Lost Island allowing you to unlock all engrams by default. I'm not sure if I made a mistake or wildcard but it's the first thing I noticed when starting out on single player
My only other problem with the map, I know is a personal one, and it's the same as Lost Island. That being how hard it is for my OG Xbox One to run them, I crash pretty often, it seems to run better on my cluster than my single player, but it's par for the course with Ark and my hardware is outdated

I love how there are so many creatures on this map but I noticed alot of the unique creatures on the map you can't unlock their saddles, what's the point in being able to tame them if you can't ride them?
Idk I have the same problem I'm on Xbox one too. I can't unlock the saddle for the creatures like Magmasaur or Rock Drake. And I can't make the radiation suit to even get to the Drake eggs, idk what to do.

I would’ve shown the gacha spawn in the flower biome top right of the map I’ve been up there with like 20 around me multiple times I tame like 4 at a time to see which one has element dust super fast
I had a lvl 150 unicorn spawn outside my house once on fjordur, and I was trying to tame it, but I didn't have access to carrots and didn't know they spawned on the map, so I spent an hour or so trying to tame it with berries, and that's when a wild Carno decided to ruin my fun.

We have Magmasaurs AND Deinonychus, here I can build my Dragon-killing army without traveling between maps (Really, bring Magmasaurs to tank the Dragon’s flamethrower and gnaw at it’s feet with Deinonychus, you could beat it with only 3 or 4 creatures, bring passive Deinos for replacement if the one you ride on is hurt)
Miss when scorched-earth was new Meeting wyverns and rock Golems for the first time.Me shooting rockets @ Golems head to tame them so badass (appreciate the timestamps in chat btw)
So far all I can think of that really matters, is reapers, blood-stalkers, the fish you need to tame the turtle, titans, all the space biome stuff,the striders, lost islands dinos, and maybe the scorched stuff

Thank god finally! a map were I can find rock drakes that are not on aberration because that map holly smolly Is not that I dont like it but is hard to get in and out because of the obelisc burning thing outside on oficial servers, specially if drops dont give you the time necesary to travel with your stuff on, also nice to se all dino variations on this map it makes easy to go tame X and R variations without going on gen 1 because that map is so small and limited that is hard to catch someting with others building in the middle, thanks for the video. :)

but you can't unlock the needed engrmas required for there saddle on this map without transferring which means you meed the dlc
@@aceknight6622 go over to lost island, all of the engrams can be unlocked there , I imagine they will add that soon to fjordur.

I was playing on the map earlier, and accidentally stumbled upon the ice cave Ferox spawn. It was a traumatic experience, to say the least lol

For everyone having problem, transfer your character to lost island, unlock all the dlc engrams you want there, and then transfer back
go over to lost island, you can unlock all engrams on lost. Transfer back and BOOM! you can make the saddles.
This is like having a class with all your friends in it this is like that but all the dinos in one map so COOL.

im glad that they made asgard count as a cave so it disables flyers and gives rockdrakes more off a use on such an open map

Thank god finally! a map were I can find rock drakes that are not on aberration because that map holly smolly Is not that I dont like it but is hard to get in and out because of the obelisc burning thing outside on oficial servers, specially if drops dont give you the time necesary to travel with your stuff on, also nice to se all dino variations on this map it makes easy to go tame X and R variations without going on gen 1 because that map is so small and limited that is hard to catch someting with others building in the middle, thanks for the video. :)

FjordHawks can be found at a large waterfall at 77,37. I've seen dozens there.

Whenever I looked in a wyvern trench there would be mostly fire wyverns, and no good level lightning wyverns, so each own trench is amazing
