That's a good overview. I'm glad to see it. Helps me make a decison on whether to get the new V2 or a GTS. Beautiful scenery, I live in East. TN myself in Greenville.
Great review. Just curious... have you seen any of the alerts pop up as in the previous versions? Low tire pressure, low fuel, etc? Can't get them to show on mine and nobody can seem to tell me why (or if they are even built in). Thanks!!
Great question! BTW… I am going to be dropping a 10k mile review of the V2 next week. Be sure to check that out! As far as the notifications, I had a rear tire blowout on this last trip. I did not notice any alert pop up alerting me to a loss of air pressure. However, it could have been there but I just didn’t notice it in the moment. I don’t recall having been in another situation where I should have been notified of something (like low fuel). I’ve reached out to get clarification on this though. I’ll update the final video review if I hear back before the video drops next week. Thanks for asking!!
@@withPercy Thanks! I have asked Soundstream and idatalink. No one can confirm. The vendors that sell the units state that you will get the alert and you have to "dismiss" the alert for it to go away from the main screen but an indicator will stay on the upper row of icons. Having said that, probably safe to say you didn't get the alerts.
Nice rundown of your experience so far. Glad that your happy with your new setup
Great review of the V2. Could you make a video on how you set up your Cardo with the Gopro for vlogging?

Just installed the V2 on my dad's bike. It's awesome! Also more powerful than stock. You can easily hear it while on the highway
First video I’ve seen where you can actually see how the screen looks in direct sunlight.. much better than my current Sony7000 . Thanks for sharing
I’ve been impressed with the power. I wear ear plugs with a full face helmet and can hear the music.
