also keep in mind that biomancy has the Biophysical Distortion talent where all the psyker's attacks including psychic powers inflict toxin, also executioner with "where it hurts" has insane dmg potential.
I’m really torn between starting a new campaign now or wait it out until the final DLC is released and I can play the “complete” game… I think BG3 ruined me for other games…
The Bladedancer kind of made me feel pretty bad about the Warrior archetype for the rest of the game's existence. I'm having so much fun grabbing cool things that help me make the character a God of melee while playing this new archetype. I haven't gotten to level sixteen to see the executioner, but I'm sure it opens up even further as I progress. What do you think they could do to help people decide the "warrior" is also worth their time playing the melee focused characters?
Nice to have you back at RT! ❤ Heres my comment to please the algorithms spirit: Im trying warrior/melee pyro in combination with executioner on my absolute heretic degenerate PC and so far im having a blast. Where it hurts followed by a firestorm on an already burning and ideally debuffed pack/single enemy is stupid damage. Also nice synergy with my flamer argenta.
The legend is back I be worried about you when you disappear for weeks can’t wait for the new rouge trader and wrath of the righteous content to start flooding in
For executioner, you can pair where it hurts with firestorm while youre on fire as a pyro, I was able to do 300 damage aoe turn 1 at lvl 22 on unfair vs t3-4 enemies! I did run assassin on kibella for the reasons you mentioned
Looking forward to all the new builds, it doesn't sound like its going to be the min max best build but really like the idea of a pure dot psyker with executioner.
Playing a Bladedancer + Executioner on my current run. And have to say the damage creep you get is crazy. Outperforms my Bladedancer + Assassin by A LOT. I was hesitant at first too but pleasantly surprised, especially as it just gets better with more attacks as you proc instant DoT tick on EACH of your attacks, and that's a lot of attacks per turn. I do want try try Bladedancer with Arch Militant too at some point though just to see how that goes.
@@lucius-v5r In my opinion yes. A LOT better even. On each attack you proc each of the DoTs that eventually have +50% or so crit rate on, on top of your regular crit rate. On top of that they take the extra damage every round passively(if they survive that long) Think of it this way. You have bleed, burn and toxic dots on a big mob, then with each attack you make those dots tick as well. And as a bladedancer you get a LOT of attacks.
@@gangr3l with note on weakness + self buff you can get 1500 lethality easy the first turn wich mean 500-1000 damage bonus per killing edge do you think than executionner is still better ? in act 4 you can get Paradox Solved feat ( free heroic per fight) combined with warrior heroic act , do you think than blade dancer is still stronger than warrior post act 4
@@gangr3l killing edge stack with chainsaw multi attack and it's completely busted with all the direct damage than you can stack + note on weakness i just beat the final bost act5 without companion on unfair+ (enemy stat in option max ) assassin seem much stronger than executioner at least for act 4+
I’ll be building a bio/sanctic bladedancer/arch-militant to start, but I’m sure a bladedancer pyro executioner could get pretty nasty, especially if you’re stacking burn dots/poison dot/bleeds
cRPG Bro my man how are you this fast with pumping out these videos? Blade Dancer looks extremely powerful and I feel like it kinda dethroned warrior in almost every aspect except raw tanking with Vanguard. It has almost none of Warrior's weaknesses like limited attacks and movement and the damage output is insane. As for tanking, we have dodge and parry which imo is more important than damage sponging like Vanguard in most cases. Feels like Psyker Blade Dancers will completely dominate the game like burst fire builds used to.

I wouldn't count Executioner out just yet. The devs seem like they really don't want "alpha strike or die" to be the meta which is why it seems to get nerfed every single patch. Executioner looks like a good way to combine the new Pyro mechanics with the base class features of whatever you take for your T1.
I've only played a bit of bladedancer so far, but it's already feeling pretty dang fun. move near a group, Death from Above to the center of them, then blade dance to aoe them down, then death from above to another mob, melee it for another kill, death from above to the other side of a mob for more dmg, it's a good loop. Not to mention the cheeky backflipping attack animations lol
Any plans on remaking companion builds? I know there have been alot of changes but I am not sure if there have been enough to warrant remaking those videos.

It looks like they have made the same mistake with new archetypes as they made with arch-militant. They put overpowered action economy and too much snowballing damage potential. After people one shotting end game bosse they might as well nerf these archetypes as they did to arch-militant.

I finished that pretty recently. I swapped the Biomancy for Pyromancy and focused more on offensive Sanctic powers. Should still work pretty well.
