I used to love coming home from school to watch Tony Hart's "Vision On" " (I was always fascinated by the "Vision On" alien and the fact that the programme was signed for deaf children) and "Take Hart" programmes in the 70s.

I loved watching Tony as a child. What a sad end to his incredible life. I find his plaque upsetting as it looks so unkept for such a famous and totally wonderful man. God bless you Tony you were my tv childhood hero 🙏💜
My thoughts exactly Sarah.
Yes, it is sad such a decent man's plague and its surrounding is not cared for. He was part of my childhood and was so famous at one point, such a gentle man.
Same … so sad to see 😢
Find it refreshing that a TV personality has a modest memorial, shows the character of the man when alive.
Ah Tony Hart brings back some wonderful memories. I adored Morph as a kid and still do :)

He was a fantastic artist and looooved naughty, cheeky little morph. Thanks Paul.
Jesus!! He was a Gurkha.
I'm having a really hard time wrapping my head around that one.
I'm 57 now and god I loved getting in from school and watching Vision On.
I hold Tony Hart in very high regard.
Ever since I was a kid I was always drawing and painting. I loved it and his inspiration went far in my life.
In hindsight he's probably responsible for me.
Becoming a Tradesman as a painter.
A Craftsman, as I used to be a traditional Signwriter.
I tattooed for 25 years.
I'm old now at 57 and these days I work as a care worker, but still love painting.... only now with an airbrush.
This suddenly made me realise that Tony Hart is more than likely responsible for most of my adult life, and I never knew it. Lol
I feel a bit weird now.
He was a great guy. A joy to watch as a child, especially with a Morph.
They just don't make em like they used to anymore.
Thank you for this upload. You have a new subscriber
Thank you 🙏
Such a kind natured man from a generation of brilliant children's entertainers. Johnny Norris, Terry Nutkins, Brian Cant, Johnny Ball, Roy Castle.
It would astound me how gentle & capable he came across during his shows. Admirable. Seems like the kind of man you'd love to claim as a family relative, like an uncle. I tuned in to his show every week and just as he did for so many others, he inspired my own artistic escapades. I'm pretty sure our lives were better because of him.
Used to be so fascinated how he drew, great artist..Morph was brilliant... i can imagine how he felt losing the use of his hands, the two things that were necessary for him bless him. Rip Tony Hart and thank you for the memories of my youth xx
Thank you Tony Hart & Morph for some wonderful childhood memories.
RIP Tony
You maybe gone but never forgotten.

I remember watching Tony and morph and Chas they are very funny on TV!! Rest in peace Tony and I miss you morph and Chas!!!
Cheers Paul. Another nostalgic icon from a great era of my life.
When you see something or someone who had a profound effect upon you during your childhood you get that warm glow of reminiscence. From Vision On to Take Hart I was mesmerised, not by the little plasticine man, but by how Tony could suddenly turn a piece of paper with a few strokes of the brush into a vibrant, living thing. Wonderful TV presenter. Thank you Tony.
As a young lad,i was mesmorised by his artwork and i loved cheeky Morph,we were lucky to have such a simple childhood,RIP Tony Hart and Morph.
There was a quality about Tony Hart that was quite beautiful
I remember first seeing Tony co-hosting Vision On with Pat Keysell, who also died in 2009 & also aged 83
Rip Tony & Pat
I loved watching Tony hart an morph .lovely memories of my childhood
U can tell what I used to watch when I was a kid ❤ em
Loved tony hart and morph. Also the children's art galley and the lady who did the signing for the deaf. Brilliant programmes
What a shame to see these icons graves so simple and not looked after. However I suppose their legacy lives on in our hearts and thoughts. As always a respectful video. Keep the good work up Paul.
While I know what you mean, people like Tony are national treasures. Although his memorial might be modest his legacy is huge and will last as long as we remember him.
Loved watching Tony Hart. Was always amazed watching him draw & paint. Loved Morph as well. RIP Tony x
