This track defines a moment where nothing else exist but the present moment. At that very time the world could be in chaos but not your world. Hold on to any memory in your life that seemed magical.
I’m crying. I would stand here for hours listening to this and admiring the beauty and childlike nature of the world that they created with so much sadness and sorrow. A sad fantasy. Such a perfect game that I could aspire to one day create. ❤ love you Nobu Uematsu
This songs brings me back to playing this game early 2021 during covid second wave. I wasn’t doing anything, just playing this game whole day and spending nights trying to get all the trophies inside the masterpiece of world this game created. It was so comfy and peaceful inside my room during quarantine. I know it feels stupid to say this but I feel a lot of nostalgia and miss these quarantine days playing this game. Now my life is just working on a stupid job whole day. I don’t know how long I’ll be able to keep this routine. I miss simplicity.
Finally ... After 20 years.. we finally get to walk with aerith in the moonlight... Some of us have disappeared along the way, others of us are still here. Thank you square for letting us walk again with aerith
*_For me, this song paints a picture of stars twinkling in the sky, which is why it’s perfect being played in this moment when they’re traveling under the newly constructed plate and the night sky is visible. Also, it plays right into the theme of Cloud and Aerith being “star-crossed lovers”. ⭐️❤️_*
This is my fav calm track of the game but the one that is played when they jump off that plataform to the slums using the parachute is my favourite exciting soundtrack. But I dont know the name of that one.
@@youwinoneinternets1566 It is probably because it is not bombastic orchestra music. Most music in the remake is good but the OG FF VII OST was in some transition from Snes to "real music", which made it iconic. FF VIII had guitars and rifts while FF VII was limited to mostly have violin and flutes with synthetic tones. It had few instruments but was still way more advanced than Snes ability to produce sounds. This is probably why this song resonates the most with me in the remake. It reminded me that it is still possible to have music in AAA videogames that aren't full-blown bands and orchestra or radio music. I wanted a prelude that is without all the additional instruments to make a 40 man orchestra but FF VII remakes prelude is the best in many, many years (although FF XIV is not bad).
It's a great track. It's like a living in a moment of bliss, you know something really bad is going to happen soon, with the plate falling down and killing many people, as well as the inevitable death of Aerith, but right here, in that moment, you're going on a whimsical adventure with a friend/love interest and making the most of it in the short time before all that happens
Seriously, you can't tell me the devs didn't intentionally put what is probably the most nostalgia inducing, memory exploring, I'M NOT CRYING YOU'RE CRYING song precisely at this location because they KNEW they were going to be swimming in gamer tears.. 😭😭😭
Friends, the whole point of the game was that we're no longer bound by the past. Aerith isn't guaranteed to die this time around. We may be able to save her--and THAT would bring more tears than her dying again, I promise you.
@@fossilfirebird5093 "F" to doubt.. but who knows, I definitely wouldn't mind seeing them explore that path and perhaps it'll be amazing but tears of joy will never be as wet on your face as tears from loss. I personally hope they surprise us and neither is totally the case. lol

This track alone caused me to instantly fall in love with FF7 Remake. Sure the Airbuster fight was epic and had amazing music as well, but this scene with Aerith just hit me in the feels unlike any scene from any other game I’ve ever played.
i officially fell in love in chapter 4 with jessie on the plate going to see her parents. i found myself tearing up just at the moment. only went uphill from there
Hearing this and reuniting with Aerith even after just being apart for a minute was so special 🥺💗 the few chapters with Cloud and Aerith together were the best.
This song made me feel like we were meeting Aerith again for the first time, and also honoring all that we loved about her back in the old game. damn it's like the heartbreak, the good memories and the nostalgia all rolled into one. Fans know what's coming down the line for her but this song at least makes you forget that just makes you enjoy the moment.
When this song came on I actually gasped, put my controller down and listened. It’s just captures Aerith and her whole energy. It’s simply beautiful for an amazing game.
Being a countryside kid I always wanted London. When I was 20 I took part in Centrepoint's Sleep Out for charity in Exchange Square, central London attended by all the city workers. Amongst the bright lights on a chilly November I met one of the most incredible women in the world. 2 weeks later she was my girl. Then, my fiancée. The years went by with many whirlwind adventures and we moved in together and lived. We struggled and in 2021 we parted ways. I will forever remember being young with her past midnight on the luminous city streets, in the city and with the person both of whom I deeply coveted. Priya, I will love you and miss you for the rest of my life. I wish you nothing but goodness always. This song reminds me of the beautiful night that we met. Goodbye x
This song struck me in a very good weird way. It hit mental cords i didn't even know I had, and invoked in me a somber and melancholy nostalgia that had me yearning for something i didn't know I needed. It makes me happy and at peace, yet sad and reflective. In short, a masterpiece i will add to my sound library for years to come.
This track epitomizes the moment in the game when I finally just stopped and slowly looked around, coming to terms with how much of a miracle this game is, especially for those of us who grew up cherishing the original when it was released. We grew up in a world that has rampantly become more and more negative and institutionalized, and there's a lot of pressure to hate things because the loudest voices always seem to focus on the minor misgivings, but this game truly succeeded in living up to expectations in every regard despite the immense pressure to follow in the footsteps of the original. This moment, to me, was like reuniting with my lost love for games all over again; combining a world and characters that I held so dearly growing up with new features and a promise that there are better things to come. This moment in the game encapsulates that feeling, and this track suits it perfectly. After completing everything in this game, I've actually found myself playing other games I've always wanted to experience but never had the drive or desire for the past 10+ years, and actually enjoying them instead of just trying to blindly follow public trends and working myself to the bone. "We need to make the most of the time we have- to live our lives the way we wanna live. Every minute... every moment, matters."
When I first heard this song playing and I was walking with Aerith I just had to stop and take everything in. I've waited for this game for more than half my life now and this moment will really stick with me. Square really knocked it out of the park with all of the amazing new songs and truly captured the soul of what this game was always meant to be. I really want to replay the game already but I think I will wait a little longer before pt 2 comes out.
Ya, I'm 40 , FF7 favorite game ever, and I started crying when this started playing. I couldn't stop. The visuals, the reality of playing. It was too much.
This music makes me think of all those ive lost since i played this game in 2020, some through death, some through life circumstances 💔 love the people around you, they wont last forever
I’m now a 37 year old guy but I remember playing the original game as a teen of 15/16. I think people of a similar age group will remember playing the original game back in 97 and having that magical feeling whilst playing the game. Playing the remake I got those feels listening to this song being played. Those moments are special in life. Peace to my brothers and sisters from the OG days ✌🏻
38 year old guy here, have still the original and bought de remake. Just love how they did the remake! Don´t have words to describe how this ost makes me feel :)
I liked the music throughout the game, but this is the track that made me really start highlighting the whole soundtrack. I thought for a song to be this good it had to be a really good remix of an original song. Nope. Made for the remake. This one is just a masterclass song that belongs with the original.
My favorite track. Once Aerith had been taken by Shinra, hearing it play made my heart ache for her. I was so nostalgic for the idyllic time Cloud spent with her in Sector 5 and Wall Market. Working their way through the collapsed expressway. Picking flowers. Trying to get to Corneo. Winning together at the colosseum. Fighting through the sewers alongside Tifa. I missed her, and I’m certain Cloud did too. 迎えに行く。 “I’m coming for you.”

Listening to reminds me the relationship cloud and aerith had. cant wait for part 2 this game has been my favourite since i was 7 years old i remember asking my brother to buy this game growing up i wish they made a remake and they did and love it
To me, this is when I started to fall for Aerith. I've known the character for years, but I just always thought Tifa was cooler. But this... This is magical... I understand why people loved Aerith now.
I love Tifa but this song made me feel a connection between Cloud and Aerith. And made me feel in love with her and I'm certain Cloud feels the same way. Lol
Pretty much all of the tracks are awesome but I absolutely loved this track. Only played the remake and not the original but it just feels so nostalgic in general with the sort of 8 bit sound going through it. It just feels warm and comforting in a way. Strange as it sounds. Like it's got this sort of magical feel to it.
I think why this piece is so atmospheric and memorable to me is due to the 4th major chord during the main melody section in 0:27. Major always have that “feel” to it.
It's a very subtle callback to Interrupted by Fireworks/Ahead on Our Way :) Almost like it's just picking up the odd note, just triggers enough of the memories...
The Consouls have done a fantastic cover which you might enjoy ua-cam.com/video/DQuOuSbvW24/v-deo.html and their keys player Zorsy did Ahead on Our way on his album music.ua-cam.com/video/Izt2tjUrsDA/v-deo.html
I never played original ffvii even if I knew the story. I started my journey with the remake and this part was my magic one. Just replayed 9 chapter for this music
I could listen to this and meditate daily and it would bring a new memory of life up every single time. That's how powerful this song is. I love Final Fantasy VII Remake. Cant wait for ReBirth to put me in all the feels.
Man, this moment in the game, accompanied by this beautiful yet simple theme, was BEAUTIFUL to say the least. Reminded me of youthful days, late night encounters to chit chat, watch the sky, and believe the moment is gonna last forever... Nonetheless, it all was as ephemeral as a shooting star. But a perfect one. Treasure.
I never really got into Final Fantasy when I was younger as I hated turn based combat and would always pick Kingdom Hearts over Final Fantasy but after just recently playing this game it clicked. I now understand why everyone loves these characters and the importance they've had to so many people along with this story. I'm at chapter 14 right now and am trying to do everything before I start the finale. I know in my gut that Sephiroth will appear but dont know what chapter, although its probably gonna be the most intense part of the game.
Cloud and Tifa conversation for the first few hours of the game: Oh wow! They are really fleshing out their relationship! This scene:..........no words and says enough.
It was this moment in the game that I began considering video games as a whole being a magical form of entertainment once again. We're back in the "good old times" once again bois.
This piece wanted us to know the long journey of Cloud & his group and this piece wanted us to feel the nostalgic feeling. Truly FF has the best OST's of all of time
I remember when I first listened to this ,I was anxious what would the remake bring and this got me accept giving the remake a chance to see what could it give
When I think about it... maybe what will happen... what happened in the original game... we all seems to know it. This song fits perfect. Its so pure and innocent and on the other side so sad. I wish they had more time. I wish it could be a love forever. I wish it would never end. Their midnight rendezvous under the stars and the steel sky.
You anticipate the pain to come... And yet this song brings you back to an age where you are maybe just learning about love... And it takes you there... To be cloud, with her, in the moonlight
Beautiful track! I realized it borrows some inspiration from a tune in the original FFVII called "Interrupted by Fireworks". If you listen to the beginning parts, the melodies are similar, just differences in tempo and tuning. Thought it sounded strangely familiar when I heard it!
Final Fantasy VII defined what 3D games could be. Final Fantasy X showed how voice-acting can enhance an experience. 23 years have passed since the original, and arguably 16-to-20 years since a true FF game. Final Fantasy VII Remake, despite all the odds stacked against it, defined what games could be once again, with moments like this.
This track defines a moment where nothing else exist but the present moment. At that very time the world could be in chaos but not your world. Hold on to any memory in your life that seemed magical.

I agree with everyone comments!! This was my favorite new track from remake. It’s so beautiful!
Best song in the game
Best game on ps4 I've ever played
Pretty much all of the tracks are awesome but I absolutely loved this track. Only played the remake and not the original but it just feels so nostalgic in general with the sort of 8 bit sound going through it. It just feels warm and comforting in a way. Strange as it sounds. Like it's got this sort of magical feel to it.
I think why this piece is so atmospheric and memorable to me is due to the 4th major chord during the main melody section in 0:27. Major always have that “feel” to it.
As far as I remember this tune wasn't in the original. Fantastic piece of music, love it.
I still cannot feel the same playing another game after the remake experience
I feel like this one piece of music sums up the whole game. Which is crazy considering how briefly you hear it.
I'm obsessed by this track
I too stopped in my tracks to save a video of this song. Don't feel like sorting or uploading it, but this was undeniably powerful. Thanks for sharing
You might like this cover by The Consouls too ua-cam.com/video/DQuOuSbvW24/v-deo.html
Beautiful to this day
Finally listening to the whole soundtrack and had to put this one back on repeat a few times, I get an FFX vibe from it.
I never played original ffvii even if I knew the story. I started my journey with the remake and this part was my magic one. Just replayed 9 chapter for this music
I haven't played the games, I just listen to the music because of The Consouls ua-cam.com/video/DQuOuSbvW24/v-deo.html
I could listen to this and meditate daily and it would bring a new memory of life up every single time. That's how powerful this song is. I love Final Fantasy VII Remake. Cant wait for ReBirth to put me in all the feels.
Thank you.....I've been searching for the name of this track for a whole lifetime
This was a great addition to the soundtrack
Great ost
This music would be perfect for a night time bike ride.
Cloud and Tifa conversation for the first few hours of the game: Oh wow! They are really fleshing out their relationship!
This scene:..........no words and says enough.
My thoughts exactly. Tifa's awesome, but Cloud and Aerith is just on another level imo, scenes like this feel magical
It was this moment in the game that I began considering video games as a whole being a magical form of entertainment once again. We're back in the "good old times" once again bois.
Breath of the Wild while did this for me, more so, but I agree with your sentiment.
Actually miss playing this. I didn’t realize at the time because I was trying to finish it so fast :(
damn you...now i wanted to play it again hahaha
I tear up every time I listen to this song
Stuns me that the FFXIII composers are so varied.
This piece wanted us to know the long journey of Cloud & his group and this piece wanted us to feel the nostalgic feeling. Truly FF has the best OST's of all of time
This makes me feel nostalgic and in love with Aerith. My replay button is breaking :')
Beautiful.
This one is my favorite
I remember when I first listened to this ,I was anxious what would the remake bring and this got me accept giving the remake a chance to see what could it give
When I think about it... maybe what will happen... what happened in the original game... we all seems to know it. This song fits perfect. Its so pure and innocent and on the other side so sad. I wish they had more time. I wish it could be a love forever. I wish it would never end. Their midnight rendezvous under the stars and the steel sky.
You anticipate the pain to come... And yet this song brings you back to an age where you are maybe just learning about love... And it takes you there... To be cloud, with her, in the moonlight
the best track in the game in my opinion too
Who dislikes this great work?
Beautiful track! I realized it borrows some inspiration from a tune in the original FFVII called "Interrupted by Fireworks". If you listen to the beginning parts, the melodies are similar, just differences in tempo and tuning. Thought it sounded strangely familiar when I heard it!
That's interesting to hear, I never played the original so thats pretty cool :D
@@benimo6 When a game has elements that convey both feelings of nostalgia and novelty to those playing it, you know it's a successful remake :D
@@Vaan37 Interrupted by fireworks is one of my absolute favorites from the original. I see what you mean now.
chocobo sam actually makes a reference later that, the girl (Aerith) "She ain't no Tifa, but she is a firecracker" ;)
jesus I've never thought about it until now. Thank you.
They look like a young couple having some midnight date💗. I hate myself for falling inlove with Aerith.
