I use alligator clips attached to straight pins for drying flies. Organizing my thread, I built a 3 tier wooden steps surrounded by cardboard (18"x 4"x 4") Why buy when building your own is really cheap & easy.
For those that live in a house those Meiho boxes are great. However for those of us that live in motor home where space is severely limited zippered plastic bags seem to work the best, very little wasted space. In that box probably about 80-90% of the space is filled with air and they're really, really cheat, like about a nickel a bag US. Keep the good stuff coming guys
Great video. Meiho is one of most famous tackle box/case manufacturer in Japan and almost all fisherman in Japan does own one or two of their cases. Very high quality and reliable. “May” “Ho” is more a close way to pronounce.

That round magnet on a pole is also very useful if you are doing (or having someone else doing it) work on your house like roofing or shingling. Screws or nails get dropped all over the place, & the same magnet is great for cleaning up around the work area.

Thanks for the tips Collin, I have two 2x3 inch trays bought from the sewing store (pins and needles ) that I store hooks and flies in on my bench.

Those boxes are copies of the Gamakatsu slit foam boxes or they produce them for Gama,but the Gama's are slightly larger and cheaper.
I keep all my beads,hooks,etc. in Craft Mates Bead Organizers,the lids have a locking mechanism.
Love those storage boxes. Have to get some.

I always stop there for materials before I go buy hooks at the fly shop. Most materials we tie with are the same as craft supplies, but somehow, the price is not similar.
