Hello. Yes we will try and post more so that we can educate and inspire people to take the leap to either live back in their homelands or move somewhere completely different than where they live now. We also ran into another fellow UA-camr @laoocean who is doing 3 months here in Laos. Checkout their stuff too

Wow, I just accidently found you two on another UA-camr's video (laocean?). I was born in Laos and moved to the US in 79' and just visited Laos back in Sept/Oct 2023. I loved it so much that I want to live there part time and want to buy land and build a house, but was stuck at the idea that foreigners can't own land. Then you both were talking about how we can reinstate our nationality if we were born in Laos and if our passport says birth place is Laos! You guys gave me new hope on being able to own land to build a home in Laos in my name! I will look into it right away to get things rolling! Thank you so much for the info. Best of luck to you both!! I just subscribed to your channel. 😊

Glad we can inspire you. You can also do it in a business name. Some companies we’ll help you, I think a certain percent has to be owned by a Laos person or company but they’ll give you full rights through a contract or something like that. I’m sure if you join some expats Facebook groups you’ll get exact answers

@@viexay That's more like landing on mars. Laos, outside the capital, is like land on another time in history. The way poeple dress, eat, sleep, worship and much more is even more traditional than their neighbors in Thailand. It maybe on purpose. But, the buildings, roads, rice fields, and Mountains are amazing, mostly untouched by modernization. These places are special and the world should visit them.

We normally travel in and out of Laos every few months. We get a 3 month visa every time we come back and live here, since I am Laos, they give me 3 months, and since I am married, Makini also gets 3 months, we just have to pay $40 every time.

9 minutes into the video and you haven't said the name of the city, is it because you don't know how to properly pronounce it? im sure the vendors in Vientiane understand Thai, the Isaan area has flipped between Laos and Thailand throughout history

    • @blasiantravelerss

That’s because we said it in the last video. There was no need to reiterate it again since this wasn’t the first day in Vientiane and this is a video about being in Laos not just Vientiane.
Also, It hasn’t flipped. It was once Laos and then after the war Thailand needed to replenish its forces and people so they took control of what was once a territory and made it fall under Thailand. It was basically done by force of power. Then they burned everything down across the Mekong so that their enemies didn’t take control and gave it over to Laos to rebuild its city with full control of its own
