Gordon Ramsay pushes you. Wolfgang Puck inspires you....
But which is more effective
Bigleedog7 gordon pushes you to get the best out of you bc youre inspired by wolfgang
Lol
...i still don't like WOLFGANG's ...sorry Ass jokes ...especially when he put HOT FRIED CHICKEN OVER IN this Women's APRON POCKETS ...he thought that was funny ...no one was laughing...
@@PedalToTheMetal61888 why do you write like that? Extremely hard to read.
Wolfgang Puck is like a wise soft spoken grandpa that you want
Gordon is that stern father that you need
At the end of the day when you had a fight with your father you'll run to your grandpa for a talk..
and then come back to your father with a cool head
Haha, what a fantastic way to put it. Thank you.
@@LouisPetrides cause Wolfgang and Gordon kinda resemble both my grandpa and my dad ..
kinda freaky when I think about it..
@@JesusSucksUrDick - You're very lucky to have both!
Puck soft spoken? Lol not during dinner rush I'm sure
😆😆😆 lool
Gordon has always managed to get the best out of individuals by pushing them to their limits!
wolfgang itself its way cooler name
PUCK
Kay Dreck its a weirdi cringe Name
Gordon Ramsey is a badass name also
@@brandonellis8111 gordon sounds like fat, because un spanish, Gordo means fat
WHY NOT BOTH?
I got the all-access masterclass so it gave me everything. :D
Han FACTS!
@Valeriia Kirichenko from what I know, there's an option where you can avail unlimited class for 180 dollars
Gordan Ramsay is an AMAZING Chef, don't get me wrong, but Wolfgang Puck can make the simplest food with the simplest ingredients and your mouth will feel like you have eaten diamonds dipped in gold and garnised with ruby's and emerald's thats how exquisite it is. When I first heard of Wolfgang Puck, I thought he was this big chef who only cooked with ingredients from smal villages in European countries no one could pronounce. Then I saw a video of him cooking and it was the simplest thing. In my mind I couldn't fathom how possibly the best chef to grace the world could cook so simply. Then I had the privilege of trying his food and everything just made sense. Gordan is Great, but Wolfgang is something greater than words.
Arianna Benoit we’re talking about content. Gordon has a better class.
I think thats not edible😂
I think Gordon is slightly more successful and better as a Chef. He earned 3 Michelin stars (and 16 in total). He earned 3 Michelin stars WHILE WORKING IN THE RESTAURANT so he is an incredible Chef. Both are one of the greatest though
I never trust chef's in general they never reveal their secrets techniques and ingredients. They work with that so
I dont want to eat metal and gems
Gordon Puck
smart as F@#K!
Wolfgang Ramsay
Gordon Wolfgang Rampuck
Gorgang Pucksay
I took the Gordon Ramsay masterclass but Wolfgang is great genius
I'm taking the Gordon Ramsay masterclass now, and it's amazing. Thank you so much for this fantastic overview and the link
How’s ur cooking now?
3:15 Gordon has really been hitting the gym hard.
Comparing Wolfgang Puck with Gordon Ramsay is just like comparing a Blue whale(Puck) with a Great White Shark (Ramsay)
Very clean audio with good insight. I've taken six Masterclass courses covering filmmaking, writing, music production. Ultimately, my opinion is each instructor was chosen due to their passion, perfection and accomplishments. I agree with your all access recommendation as the viewer will learn from each course despite the overall content. Thanks for publishing.
Oh nice, did you get the all-access masterclass package?
LouisPee Yes and learned alot not just from videos, but the handouts and community interactions.
How much did it cost
I got the all-access pass which gave me access all the masterclasses (Worth it). A single class is $90, click the link in the description friend. :D
a lot*
Wolfgang Puck classes were much more informative yes soulful and personality/ palette relying but he drew me in more with his techniques. The red wine steak recipe is divine since you've mentioned it!
Absolutely, I loved creating it at home. Thank you for the comment Camillia.
❤❤
I grew up watching Wolfgang as far I can remember I think I was 11 when I was started watching his cooking show. and later Gordon at Age 20 can't really tell which one. Both amazing
If I had to choose one, I'd choose Ramsay only because I'm not confident in my tasting skills to doctor up a dish and improvise. What I _can_ do is follow recipes to a T and use cookware to get that perfect sear, temperature, consistency, etc. In the end, proper use of cookware can transform bland food into something from decent to delicious, whereas if you use the wrong knife, grater, pan, heat, size, speed, it can ruin the food terribly. Case in point: bland steaks perfectly seared to medium rare served with steamed unseasoned beans vs overcooked chewy and dry but seasoned steak.
Great explanation on both classes, I was already intend to go for Gordon's class, and now your video let me know is the right choice for this moment. Thanks a lot.
Awesome to hear this video pointed you in the right direction. All the best, let me know how you go once you finish.
Thanks for the comment. :D
Really, really good summary and editing. Greatly helped my decision making. Thank you!
Thank you. :D
Great video! I have been debating on what master class I wanted to do and this helps tremendously.
Happy to help out! Best of luck with it.
in my house, we mostly use our palate when deciding what we need to add
Yeah I got the same feeling Wolfgang is very patient with an Audience at a great pace... like even gives you pointers on what to do with bones to make sauces and stock ... it’s incredible how hooked I am .. and Ramsay is one of my favs
Absolutely, Wolfgang Puck's MasterClass is complete patience. It's on par with Thomas Keller's MasterClass.

Wonderful comment Cameron. Thank you.
Thank you! Was thinking about getting this as a Christmas gift for my brother who is a chef. Think I'll have to go the year all-access so he gets both perspectives.
You have a lucky brother! - Let me know how both of you go with it. --- Seriously. Come back to this comment section and let me know. 😊 -- Merry Christmas. 🎅
So did he like it? Did he improve?
I like both chefs. They're both amazing
Gordon travel all around The world n learns all type of foods that y I don't think anyone to compare to him he is well rounded
Ohh, you still gotta respect the other great cooks. Just different methods of learning. I like them both, Gordon Ramsay, slightly more though. :P
Learn how to spell dogface.
You really think Wolfgang Puck hasn't traveled the world?
Gordon hasnt traveled phillipines yet...
Rick Stein?
Well explained and straight to the point, good job bro.
Thanks Ganz!
This video was extremely well done
Honestly I would take both classes...
Very informative. Thanks.
Happy to assist.
Thank you for the reply.
I think they are both worth taking classes from to find your own food style, taste and interests. Food is a intimate and personal dynamic that you find as you learn. Use both masters to find the master in yourself. Paying respect and homage to their skill is always a compliment for them; or it should be.
I bought a Wolfgang Puck recipe book 17 years ago, and I love it .Every recipe I have made from him has been delicious
So good!
I absolutely agree with you bout Gordon Ramsay, but since you mention Wofgang's ways of decision making (which chef style of work to choose from), I decided to buy Wofgang class. Thanks heap.
yin and yang ! to become truly outstanding you should pick the best from both.
I am looking into it today for the first time. You asked about the current price. Today: It is s subscription service. US $15.00 monthly. Must be paid annually at $180.00. The price is amazing for the content. I wanted to get a "taste" of it before purchasing to see what it was like. Your videos are excellent. Thank you for this.
well executed, great job
It really depends on what kind of cook you want to be. Wolfgang is a strict innovator, who accepts improvisations (but only if it works). Gordon is an absolute perfectionist, who encourages “by the book” skills and rarely accepts improvisations. Wolfgang will inspire you to be perfect but unique, Gordon will push you to be perfect in the same way, every time. Both Wolfgang and Gordon set the upmost highest standards, none of them are lenient. Both are equally as intense, Gordon singles individual people out for a mistake, while Wolfgang will yell at everyone for one person making a mistake. Both incredibly amazing motivators.
If you’re a perfectionist, choose Gordon.
If you’re unique and want to experiment, choose Wolfgang.
Wolfgang Puck is awesome. Ate at his restaurant and loved it. So professional .
When I go to California I always go to his restaurants
So cool! One day I hope to have the chance to eat at all their restaurants. Wolfgang Puck & Gordon Ramsay are true masters of their craft.
Great review, Louis!!!
Thanks Joel. I hope Gordon Ramsay and Wolfgang Puck would be proud of this Masterclass review.
dont cook often but i enjoyed this. Thanks Louis
YES
That is one gorgeous chefs knife 3:31 Does anyone know witch is it?
Omg I can so relate . I too cannot live without food!
Enrolled in Masterclasses .... thanks, good points made!
Glad it was helpful!
Great video. Haven't taken any of the MC classes yet, but this has given me a lot to think about. Will you be doing any more comparisons, say to the Thomas Keller or Alice Waters classes?
Sorry for the delay. Here we go! ua-cam.com/video/b5YPDDZelSU/v-deo.html
Great review, thanks for all the info and how the two teach. I think now I'll just get the season pass so I don't have to choose. Way cheaper than getting a culinary degree, which isn't my interest, my interest is to cook like a chef.
I feel like Wolfgang Puck has the same on-screen presence as Jacques Pepin. I used to LOVE watching Jacques Pepin on television. The early days with Julia and then the 2000s with is "Fast Food My Way" series. I could watch Wolfganf Puck all day the same as I did with Jacques. I almost wish I could see a colaboration between the two. In my opinion, it would be almost like cooking meets ASMR. Lol
Will the upgrade from single class plan to all-access plan cost $90 only?
I don't know exactly how that process works. I just got the all-access masterclass and done.
Quiz time: Where was Gordon Ramsay born? England or Scotland. Which chef do you prefer and why?
LouisPee Scotland
LouisPee He was born in Renfrewshire, Scotland
LouisPee Gordon Ramsay and Scotland
Wolgang puck hands down is the harder working chef.... Gordon.. yea he's done some good things like his shark fin documentary and stuff like that... but half the time he's paid to fucking act like a dick and he's not really like that all that much , just a little bit... Puck moved out of his house to get away from his parents at age 16, he is a true self made man... and a better chef... Try watching Gordon think he knows how to make Curry... lol Gordon's curry is shit!! he's ok for a TV chef. I'm a Canadian from east coast, like where Trailer park boys are from, heck i even met them before lol.. anyway... i'm from there, and i know Curry wayyy better than Gordon... honestly , my friend Mike is a better chef than both these old men.
Scotland and Gordon Ramsay because he has the most hilarious insults
get both!
get both!!!
both
NINOOOO
NOOOOOOoooo!
Casey White iiii
This meme is going to haunt gordan for life...
Hello! My name is NINOoooOOoOOoooOo!!!
Both to their own accord, both excel in their respective fields
Need to do video with Thomas Keller and Ann Walters or compare with others. I think together there are 4 chefs in the MasterClass.
I thought about doing it, but it would get really confusing to watch. Maybe I should do a Thomas Keller Versus Ann Walkers next?
Sorry for the delay. Here we go! ua-cam.com/video/b5YPDDZelSU/v-deo.html
Whats the song playing in the end?
Thanks for the comment Jazzman. Music can be found here: ua-cam.com/video/glMhD3EU46k/v-deo.html
I still thing Wolfgang is the bomb.
why not both?
ua-cam.com/video/vgk-lA12FBk/v-deo.html
before i like Wolfgang.. and since i've watched Hell's Kitchen most of the time 2yrs.back, i like Gordon as well😊 btw, you do resemble Daniel Johns..😎
Why not both?
I'm just gonna do both hahaha
WELL DONE
I really appreciate that, thank you
It'll be interesting to see who will step up as the next big chef after Ramsay
Interesting question. Gordon Ramsay Masterclass will always ne a masterpiece though.
I like the thomas keller one better but they all have valuable information
I take that soon for sure!
Well you should pay for the "Entire Master Class Pack" which is cheaper then actually getting just 2 courses and it gives you access to ALL the courses :D
We all can't live without food can we?
I am dying to hear Gordon Ramsay voice
What about the other one? Forgot the name.
Amo al Chef Ramsay para mi es el mejor del mundo
What if I was to do both and take the best of each and combined them together like a greatest hits cooking lesson. I mean I could do both Gordon's and Wolfgang's Masterclasses and use each to make myself a better chef. . . After all they are two of the greatest chefs out there in today's world, correct?
You should become the best chef and Masterclass will approach you. ;)
Creator Louis:I can’t live without food
Me:Everyone can’t live without food
I don't believe you. Did you end up getting the Gordon Ramsay or Wolfgang Puck Masterclass?
Do they actually provide the recipes for what they are cooking??
Masterclass provides all the recipes in their workbooks which come with each course. This applies to both the Gordon Ramsay Masterclass as well as the Wolfgang Puck Masterclass. Best of luck with your cooking adventure.
I don’t think that anyone can deny that both these chefs are the best of the best.
Thomas Keller is also pretty amazing as well though. I'll be doing a review for him soon so make sure to click the notification when it's released. I'll probably try the new premiere feature where we can watch it live as a community. 😀
Very good video. Like another commenter, i think you should get both. I think ramsay first and then puck.
Nice video,
Why not both? :P
Porque no los dos?😀
Personally both of them are really good chefs but Wolfgang puck recipes are ultimately deliciousness
Gordon travels around the world to gsther how professional and traditional cooks, prepare food
wolfgang puck I had many dishes he has made and I got to taste a lot of dishes and noodles as well he a very good master chief
its a must try from his dishes and a treat to anyone.
Nice Video. I appreciate your effort ! :-)
Thank you Drogos! I got your back
Do you have one on Thomas Keller?
Sorry for the delay. Here we go! ua-cam.com/video/b5YPDDZelSU/v-deo.html
how does masterclass compare to Yes Chef?
Are you draw with jazza? Because you sound exactly like him
no link me tho.
Hahahahaha lol thought I was the only one who know that
@@LouisPetrides search him here is his channel draw with jazza
I have an idea If you say Gordon’s and Wolfgang is the same So but the ALL ACCESS GOD DAMNIT
No one can't live without food...
what about thomas keller masterclass?
Sorry for the delay. Here we go! ua-cam.com/video/b5YPDDZelSU/v-deo.html
I love wolfgang
Wolfgang Puck because I have a feeling if I mess up in Gordon's Masterclass, Gordon will jump out at and start swearing about how fucking rawwwww the food is and ask me where's the lamb sauce?
Well I definitely can't live without food.
haha. Clever
How much are these actually *master* classes as opposed to 'enthusiast' classes? I'm not dissing them at all, but if I took a master class from Ferran Adria, I'd expect it to be on a specific topic, for example, showing the ins and outs of spherification under adverse temperature and humidity conditions. It would be a let down to merely learn a variation on a potato omelet, no matter how yummy it is.
$90 if you are in the states, just click the link in the description. Best of luck
Let's not forget Jaques Peppin who's definitely on the same par if not higher
Even better, get all 3
Team Wolfgang
Let's hope team Gordon Ramsay doesn't see this!
Hahaa
How would you compare these two with Thomas Keller. Thanks .
Video coming soon.
@@LouisPetrides great thanks
Sorry for the delay. Here you go: ua-cam.com/video/b5YPDDZelSU/v-deo.html
@@LouisPetrides thanks very much. Watching now .
Great video. Thanks for the help
wolfgang has 4 Michelin stars and gordon has 12... it doesn't mean anything really but it is something to consider.
U sound like drawing with jazza
They should go head to head. Ramsay vs Wolfgang
Ultimate chef cookoff!
Draw with jazza? No?
Sounds like I'd take the Wolfgang Puck one
I'd strongly suggest to also look at the Thomas Keller Masterclass as well: ua-cam.com/video/fjvUpQIA55Q/v-deo.html
I feel like some people are saying Gordon because they're more familiar with him & he's a savage in the kitchen. That's not fair imo. Give Wolfgang a chance.
Gordon will push you to the limit puck will inspire you
