  • Nathan was born with microcephaly, a congenital condition associated with abnormal brain development. He was also diagnosed with lissencephaly, a rare brain disorder. He began receiving hospice services through Hospice and Palliative Care Buffalo immediately following his birth. While under their care, Nathan’s condition stabilized, and he was moved to palliative care. See how the program has supported him and his family through nursing and social work visits and the program’s expressive therapy services including music and massage therapy.

    He is such a sweetheart. It would break my heart to hear such negative comments from some of these people. Rest assured, My son was born with medical problems but we got through them taking it a step at a time. Now he’s dying of stage 4 cancer and there is no cure for him. Love that little boy like there’s no tomorrow. 🙏

    I am the mom of a special needs child. If I had known, like you did, that he was going to suffer like he does, I would have terminated the pregnancy. There is no reason to feel guilty, either way, but you have no idea how much worse it is going to be for you. I hope you can get passed the grief.

    • @taco_fetish5178

      @carolgeorge1071 these are children that parents normally are told before they're born that they will never be able to function they might roll over once but that's it. Then most of them the parents will put them in hospice later in life that are run by tax payers. And I've gone through so many of these stories and videos that. The normal yearly cost is around 100,000 to a million from all the weekly emergency care visits and the at home nurses and everything else needed. All im saying is how about before forcing these children that can't survive after birth by themselves and most of them have no idea they're even alive and throwing so much money away on them. First fix the situation of all these fully functioning children forgot about in orphanages barely clothed and fed with no medical care that can actually live. And if parents choose to have them then fine but pay for it yourself and don't expect donations or programs that get tax payers money. That so many of these parents take advantage of to enrich themselves pretending it's for the kid that literally can't process a thought.

    • @taco_fetish5178
      @taco_fetish5178 Рік тому

      @spiralrose are you saying it isn't millions wasted. I've spent allot of time going through videos and stories of these type of children. And when they do reveal yearly costs it's ridiculous each child cost 100,000s of thousands to a million a year in medications, emergency care few times a week, day and night nurses medications ECT the costs are never ending and will last until they pass away. And these parents can never afford it themselves and turn to programs using tax payers money. Or straight up ask for donations and they normally get allot from donations.
      If you decide to have a child like this that wouldn't survive by itself after birth and you force it to keep living then fine but pay for it by yourself and don't expect others to hand you money.
      Or at least fix the situation of fully functioning children being lost in orphanages that are barely clothed/fed and can't afford to get medical check ups, these children can actually work contribute to society. But instead millions are thrown away yearly on a child being forced to live always in diapers they're whole lives. Constant seizures every couple minutes, all they can do are natural commands like eating and pop/pee for a couple years then they have to get tube fed cus they're muscles get so atrophied from not being able to move. I mean look up the hartley hooligans, they were adult children stuck in diapers, skin and bones and the brains started to atrophy cus nothing about them worked but the mother simply forced them to stay alive because she was selfish.

      @@taco_fetish5178 for a parent who is desperate for a child they aren't capable of destroying what may be there only chance for a child. Are you going to tell them to kill it ? Plus do we even know if the child shown has normal intelligence? If she's of normal intelligence then why would you kill her, who are you to judge her quality of life. Should we have let children die who lived out the rest of their lives imprisoned in an iron lung ? This child at least has more freedom than that

      @@tartinomiel No, not exactly. Poor Jaxon Buell, born with Microhydranencephaly, was literally nothing but a shell. No awareness at all and missing 80% of his brain. This little boy with microcephaly and Lissencephaly/smooth brain is actually responding to stimuli and with all his issues, seems to be aware of his parents and what’s going on around him. He can move on his own, make eye contact, and respond to music. Most importantly, he seems for the most part comfortable and content. I hope he can continue to be as happy and content as possible for however long fate allows him here.

      @Trina Bina jaxon didn't even have 20% of a brain. He literally had no brain at all just a brain stem. Keeping that kid alive was cruel in the extreme especially with his awful parents posing him like a puppet and triggering his seizures to make it look like he could move. It was a blessing when he died.
