Thanks Espen, another nice window into Scottish wildlife and a neat teaser on the new Tragopan hide 😊. Will need to look out for that one . Some nice views of the snipe and plovers. keep well
Great pics Espen. The Heron with wings spread was fantastic and the two closeups of the Snipes at the end were great. The hide looked pretty compact and low. Not sure I could get down in that position. I think I would need help in getting up.
Hi Espen short and sweet but extremely well filmed and edited with some great images especially the snipe images. Until next time take care and stay safe my friend
Another great video Espen. Just shows when you’re about to give up and go home what can happen out of the blue. Great images of the Snipe. Cheers Keith
Hi Espen Another masterpiece on wildlife photography 👍. But even better was you uploaded it before the F1 Grand Prix so no missing the racing lol cheers mate. PS your still the winner 🏆🥇📸🎥
Espen Helland yep....your shutter speed would win in any photo-finish 📸👍. What I would like to see is a vlog on Beasties whilst you are out in the field and how you cope......especially against the dreaded ticks! Do you ever walk through fern? Do you ever check yourself and if so how often? Plus any horror stories to tell? Myself my legs are scarred with bite marks especially from “clegg” ( horse fly) bites. 👍Alan
Sooo beautiful, Espen.. The USA has a hunting season for snipes (called American woodcock). I think we're talking about the same thing, according to a site I found? Damn those Yanks. ;/. I should talk... Ducks Unlimited does some fine work here in Alberta, but they still close down Frank Lake in the fall for hunting season.. all except for American coots. Go figure. Thanks again.. The shot at 4:34 and on are what? A type of gull?
Thanks Jan 🙂 John's right it's a lapwing. Always gets a bit confusing with the name changes across the Atlantic. We have a woodcock here as well, but as the name suggests it's habitat is usually a bit more forested.
Thanks Espen. A very timely video. Literally got up this morning to look for a hide to get a bit closer and shoot for a bit longer. Migratory birds have started their journey through Southern Ontario. I’m wondering about the physical comfort for a longer shoot of this blind vs a taller blind. Looking forward to your next video as always. Thanks for sharing your passion and wisdom. Best wishes.
Thanks Sean! It can get a bit uncomfortable after hours of lying on your stomach, I turn around sometimes when nothing is happening to 'relax' a bit. A larger hide, like the V6 with the additional room has the benefit that you can sit up and stretch so is more comfortable for for very long hours.
Looking forward to seeing the new hide. Since the V6 and Monal offers both low and mid-shooting options, I 'd be curious what your thoughts are for getting the Hokki.
Cracking stills and video Espen. I don't know if this bit of kit is of any value to you, but I just purchased one from Amazon. It saves sitting/kneeling on wet ground. It's a bit good: I hang mine from my military style belt/pouches (I don't like backpacks): FIEMACH Portable Telescopic Stool, 2nd Generation Folding Stool Camping Lightweight Stool. It can be set to a few different heights.
Espen, i love your channel however; the only thing i don't enjoy is having to lipread when you whispering! The music is fine but by the time i up the volume so i can hear you then all of a sudden the music comes on and it is very loud! So i now watch your videos with half of the time, not having a clue what you are saying. Shame really!
Another great video, Espen. Superb Tragopan Hide. a greeting
Great looking hide, and Snipe! What a bird:-) Awesome shots!
Thank you Espen... Always well spent time watching your videos. Love that Heron flight shot !
Thanks Isabelle 🙂
Very nice video...Subscribed!
Looks like you found a very active pond. Nice variety of birds and terrific photography.

Love the low profile of the blind! Keep up the great work Espen!
Another enjoyable video Espen. The video and images of the Common snipe are excellent.

More information on the hides you use please and reasoning behind your choice on the day??
Those photos are world class, great video as well.

@@bigaldo246 Cleggs are the worst! I get a few ticks every year but try to cover up. I'll have a think for a video on the subject 👍
Espen Helland looking forward to it.👍😁. Cheers Alan.

Pretty sure that they are Lapwings (Vanellus vanellus) , a type of plover
@@johnmunro5983 Thank you, John. They're beautiful, hey?

How waterproof are the hides was thinking of overnight with sleeping bag. Als yet another great video
They're very waterproof, I wouldn't worry about spending the night in one.
as beautiful as always .. btw is it a new camera ????
Yes! em1x 😁
@@EspenHelland wow nice keep ur good work with this beautiful beast 😊
That was amazing photos. What kind of Camera and lens that you used. 🙏🙏
Just upgraded to the Olympus EM1X and I have the M.Zuiko 300mm f4. Thanks!
@@EspenHelland Thanks.
Hi Espen is that a new camera?
👍 em1x :)
E-M1x ?
👍 😃
New camera sir?
Yes 😁Olympus EM1X
Aint you scared of getting ticks when you go walking in the these grassy areas?
I always get a few ticks a year. It's usually worse in the heather.
@@EspenHelland Oky doky thanks for letting me know...keep safe tho, they cause Lyme disease.
Great content again, but sadly for me, spoiled by poor audio when in the hide and too many bloo.. adverts. SORRY.
Fair enough, I'll look into the ads I've I've usually just put it to automatic and let youtube sort it.

Thanks for letting me know, had to whisper in the hide, but can try to fix it when I edit 👍
Amazing video!
Thank you 🙂
