Congratulations Ashley on a beautiful array of stills and footage...absolutely stunning really. What a place! What a photographer! Hope all goes well with the new studio. And, looking forward to the next one.
What a top video Ashley, with a great selection of lovely images 👍🏽 Nice to see the bank vole, stunning little creatures. Love the Sparrowhawks, stunning birds especially the male.
Cheers Lee, yes a fantastic little hide this is, with plenty of wildlife, and really nice to see the sparrowhawks also along with the bank voles, personally i prefure the female sparrow hawk, with her lovely brown colouring. 👍😀
Hi Phil glad you enjoyed the video, and wish you all the best with joining the RSPB you will have some great experiences at their reservers around the country. 👍
really liked this video. Have watched a number of yours in the past. This one was really good. Not to say your others weren't but this was quite uplifting. Thanks again
No, I wish, Alan who i went with was kind enough to lend me his lens for the day, wow what a difference it made, even the eye tracking improved from the 100-500, a few more subscribers and i may get one lol 👍😂
Great photos!!…..and video… I have a canon 6d with a 100-400 mm lens. I was told by a photographer that the mirror cameras, for example the R6, track better? Is that your experience?
Hi Fred, not really the R6 II may track better but I have never used the MKII, i have the R6 I and have not noticed it to be better or worse, to be honest. 👍

Some great shots there Ashley. I’ve been thinking for sometime to maybe try this hide out and I think you just convinced me.
Hi @DavidJohnBlackwell, yeh well worth it, especially at the price. 👍
Great video and photos Ashley! I noticed a lot of the shots were at f2.8. Have you been treating yourself?😊
No, I wish, Alan who i went with was kind enough to lend me his lens for the day, wow what a difference it made, even the eye tracking improved from the 100-500, a few more subscribers and i may get one lol 👍😂

F2.8 ????
yes most were at f2.8 400mm
Look like a lot of "baiting" going on there
I do say in the video that the perches are bated not hiding the fact, I suppose putting bird feed in your garden is the same thing 😃
