The new Audi RS E-Tron GT has actually brought back physical climate buttons. I wonder if Audi has had a rethink about a touch screen for climate control.
I think Audi have missed the mark with these touch screens for the market that buys these cars, i.e. middle aged men. We don't want to fuss over learning the voice commands to do all the 'touching' for us. I feel awkward speaking to the satnav in my '17 RS7, but at least it has nice tactile dials.
Gotta agree with Jo on Audi's over-reliance on touchscreens. Mercedes has gone the same way. I hope BMW - the only one of the three still using a controller and short-cut physical buttons in combo with a touchscreen - doesn't follow suit. With touchscreens where your fingers go, your eyes go!
Joe, great content as usual. Thorough, concise and as always, eminently entertaining...looking forward to several years down the road when you hit a million subscribers!
best wheels choice! I remember when we‘ve been talking about the same thing about the RS6 in the Schwarzwald. These wheels look soo good and much more like an RS wheel 👌🏽
Probably the most beautiful thing I've seen so far joe!!! The Rs7 is just a different level of a car 😍 keep up the amazing work bro!!! Videos just getting better and better!!!!
Excellent video Joe! It's still the *Alpina B8 Gran Coupé Allrad* for me. It just ticks all the boxes for what I look for _the-one-car-to-rule-them-all_-category.
As always awesome content joe 👍🏻👍🏻 obviously I’m a BMW guy but can’t deny it’s an awesome car!! Really good vid keep it joe and the RS7 does look and sound awesome 🤗
This is a phenomenal looking car it has to be said. I really don't like the huge 22" rims on the new RS6 and RS7, just looks like a cartoon, but this is way better with those 21" wheels. And the sound of that V8 is fantastic too. Great video Joe!
Head-up display and Adaptive Cruise Control is a must for that on the longer rides. Since I had it first time, I didn't trade down to have something else there.
Another spot on video Joe. I think you are right about the carbon, I hate the stuff, its everywhere these days and the fake carbon cheapens the whole look of expensive cars. I know Audi do some of the better carbon fibre but its had its day IMHO. Didn't think Id like the spec of this one but it grew on me. I know you can't get used to the touch screen interface and what you say has some merit but I can give you my impression because we have a Vorsprung A7 V6TDI (slightly breathed on remap) No carbon but black edition. It rides on Air shod 21's. My missis is the main driver as I plod around in DS3 TDI, however not having driven or travelled much in the A7, I was with her recently and was amazed how easily she navigated the touch screens. She said she doesn't like the haptic feedback much but instead prefers the speed of the touch screen. She Says it is like her Samsung smart phone. She uses the bottom screen like a boss and doesn't look at the screen at all. I still do because I have built up no muscle memory for where things are. I tend to use Android auto but it's really quite noticeable how adept she has become. She says one of the best things about the car's spec, is the heads up display, loads of info and works well with the lane keep and adaptive cruises. I agree about the ability of this car, its uncanny how it shrinks around you, the 4 wheel steer is a must have we both agree. I think the Vorsprung does give you the full luxury experience but wouldn't miss it except for the Air ride /heads up and 4 wheel steer/ the half fat B&O is ok but it's not all that IMO. I wanted the RS7 but now having seen it, I am saving for the Etron GT at some point, hopefully an RS model..try and get one on review ASAP. Keep up the great work and good luck in 2021 mate.

Spot on Joe about the trendy but not very trendy usable touch screens in the Audi's now. They are a distraction when driving. Just hope the mmi wheel comes back. But doubt it. They should give you the option like Mercedes and BMW 👊🏿
The 21”s aren’t to my taste, but you could always get a diff brand. That aside, for the money though this is the better buy. Great video man, very informative as always 👍🏻👍🏻
I just thought of a great solution to the gloss black screen, I don't know how much it would work but cut a matte or clear tablet screen protector to fit the touch screen🤷🏾♂️. Seems like it would solve 2 problems if it did work!
I definitely prefer the bigger wheels and think that the bigger wheels look way better but I agree that the smaller wheels deliver better ride quality.
So annoying that you can't spec carbon pack with the Vorsprung. Audi really need to give customers more freedom with options. Also hope they can up their game with the performance model so its on par with the M5 Comp.
Yeah, but the question is, would you have it over an M5? For some reason I thought the RS7 and RS6 were lemons compared to the M5 and E63S, but watching this the RS7 looks bang on.
Not everyone needs practicality for a family. Am 19yrs old and prefer Looks of an RS7 over RS6 cuz its a sportback, just like the AMG GT63s. So please stop saying that RS6 is better than RS7, if you want Looks RS7 is go to for sure.

Joe, great video. Being a big RS fan, I think the RS6/7 delivers the least bang for your buck out of the range. Just too expensive for not much more than what a RS4/5 delivers..
Hey Joe, Thanks for this. As always your presenting skills are top notch. Sorry, not a fan a of Audi’s but maybe-maybe an S8. Drove an RS7-2020 plate and the rear legroom was just insanely tiny. The interior quality is not even close to an S8. Ask Audi how much would cost a full service for this model.... For £98k i would go for a 760m , a Cayenne S.
Once again a very honest and great review. If I were in the market for such a car, all the information/recommendations found in this video would really help me make an informed decision. Maybe a short comparison with the latest M5 Comp and or the M6 GC Comp is missing.
I think Audi got the 2022 E Tron GT interior just right. It has the right balance of analog buttons as well as digital touch screens. I'm just not a fan of touch screens in cars, because they are an absolute finger magnet, and really doesn't look good in daylight
Joe im new to your channel. I thought you were a bmw man through and through! Hi. I've got a Rs5 (19 plate) & my brother has M4 cp (18 plate). Heres my take, the M4 sounds better, looks more aggressive, & is more fun to drive. However my Rs, as you said...
