Have you checked out Ellis Island Hotel & Casino? The cheapest table games & 9.99 steak dinner! Here's my review: ua-cam.com/video/pj4vsQXBwb0/v-deo.html

    Ally,
Here’s a general tip for Living Social and Groupon. I usually try and call before I go or speak to person there. Tell them you could buy one but prefer to give them the whole price if they match the price. They always say “Yes” because it saves them a lot of money.
After the deal gives you 25-60% off, they then have to pay Living Social and Groupon a very hefty fee. These deals are often a loss leader and if you don’t come back, they lost money. This way, the still love you and know that you are helping them too.

Wow! I currently have a reservation to visit in April and checked the current price for my stay. I saw that it was cheaper and called the hotel and got the price adjusted. A little over $100 dlls saved in 5 minutes! Thank you!!!

Love Vegas! It’s my husband and I favorite vacation destination. We have been 9 times over the last 3 years and have never paid for a room at the Delano with the Mlife Rewards program. Each trip we are rewarded with 4 more comp nights so we plan our next vacay while we’re there lol. We would love to stay at a nicer hotel but the Delano is 5star when it’s FREE lol. We also love the casino at Mandalay Bay which is convenient.

    • @melindagibson8606

Do you get the comps from playing in the casino? I would rather do this! We are staying at the Tahiti Village this time but have to watch a 2 hr presentation for the free room. We did it 2 years ago and was nice.

    Excellent vid Aly.
Usually I spend 10 nights in Vegas (1fri & 1sat). Restaurant food day after day is bit much so I always get room with a fridge. First day I go to whole foods & buy few salads - fruit - bread - water …. & I bring a small kettle. Always eat out dinner but when I get up in morning or any other time it’s convenient to have quality snacks ! Whole foods is much cheaper than strip food & they have quality items.

Great tips. I also think people need to be realistic when coming to Vegas, as well. I've noticed the prices on everything (**i.e. food, resort fees, shows, etc.) have dramtically gone up in Vegas since at least around 2018-2019. So, for those that have not been to Vegas in over 5 years or so, are in for some serious sticker shock. The only prices that have remained stable are the minimums at the tables and slot machines.

Aly, Thank you for some REAL savings tips. I found your video very useful and informative. I have been to Las Vegas about 50 times (returning again this August) and learned many things that I didn't know that will keep more money in my pocket. Thanks so much for the tips! The CNF fee and, most importantly, getting any cheaper hotel rates after making the initial reservation when booked directly. I booked 2wks ago for Nov'22 and re-checked the rates today, called the hotel for the newer lower rate, and saved $250 off the total stay! Will rewatch before our trip for a refresher. Thank you!

This video is a must watch and can save you hundreds or at least provide you with a much better travel experience to Vegas. CVS and Walgreens do have liquor, but they are still overpriced. If you are near center strip, on E Flamingo between Bally's and Cromwell / Flamingo you will find "Stage Door". For an example, a fifth of Smirnoff vodka is ten bucks. They are right across the street at the crosswalk when you walk out of the Bally's food court.

if you have a reusable water bottle, many resort pool areas offer free water for fill ups. Also, even if a hotel offers an in room Coffee maker, do not use it. Its safer to bring your own maker. Hotel room coffee makers are a haven of germs, and there is a reason why when police go into hotel rooms they check the coffee maker very early in there investigations.

Thanks Aly for another great video! All these are great tips. Wow Vegas was packed this Memorial week! Luckily I chose to come in on Sunday instead of Friday. Your recommendation on the frozen Bailey’s at O’Sheas was the best! I even went with the larger size. (Probably next time the regular would be just fine also) 😎

20 years ago, I told the taxi driver that I was a taxi driver, from Cleveland, and he still took me the long way. I reminded him that I knew my way around the city, but I still payed him the meter rate. ( No tip ).

Great tips!! Thanks!! Hotel rooms are much cheaper on Expedia then booking direct- have you ever had issues booking with Expedia?

I've never had a problem when booking using Expedia or other third party sites. However, you won't get any complimentary room upgrades (not always a guarantee when booking direct anyways) and if you have any problems on your end, like you need to cancel or change dates, it might be a little more difficult
