Although we do have a good amount of people that drive into Las Vegas, majority of our visitors come by plane and choose not to rent a car. Personally I can't imagine being in Las Vegas without a car, but so many tourists do it time and time again. I do get asked directions a lot, and I get it, during the summer it's the worse to have to walk from one casino to the other. So I made a video to help you guys out on how to get around Las Vegas without a car. We're going to be getting on the Monorail, Downtown Loop, The Deuce Bus, and 3 different trams that will include Mirage, Treasure Island, Bellagio, Crystals, Aria, Excalibur, Luxor, and Mandalay Bay. There's still going to be a bit of walking, we can't escape that. Have fun!

If you walked, how many guys would stop and ask you if you want a ride? Lol
@@SoCalburro Because she has class and dignity, probably no guy would ask.
Love that smile❤️
with all due respect to everyone, the 2 times wifey and I went to Vegas and depended on public transit, it was a PAIN, so next time we go we will be renting a car !! besides we want to see more of the rest of the city and not the strip !
Thank you
All your videos are useful but this one takes the cake! Everyone who wants to know how to get around sin city must watch. Haha Lydia’s drunk walk was hilarious. Your hair looking golden! 🥇
Let’s just put it this way - I don’t think Hollywood is going to reach out to me anytime soon 😆
@Jaycation you're absolutely correct! Every once in awhile a Vegas UA-camr will create a useful/informative/educational video and @norma.geli hit it right outta the park ! Go Padres!
I've been in vegas multiple times and I never used car once. It's just amazing experience to walk the strip without driving it, when I get tired I take break and sit somewhere in one of the hotel or use the monorail or tram to get me back to my hotel.
What most people don't know is there are car rental places at Treasurer Island (Hertz and Dollar I believe) that you can use if you need a car just for a couple of days of your trip (say to go to Red Rock or another place further away from the Strip). You simply bring the car back there. Beats the hassle of that damn car rental location near, but not at, the airport. Like you said, if you're just gonna be on the Strip there's no need to incur the expense of a car. Much easier using the transportation Norma mentioned.
Never knew about the LOOP but I am so using it next time I visit some of the great downtown locations you have featured in past videos. THANKS
Hi Norma. I just traveled to LV and utilized the tram, monorail and deuce bus to get around. I really want to thank you for your videos which helped me know how to get around without walking everywhere. 💕😀
I am going soon, won’t be renting a car after all… Thanks Norma!
hope you had a great time!
The monorail, the tram, even the deuce bus are definitely under utilized in Vegas for some odd reason. Great to see a video highlighting these available methods of public transportation. They are inexpensive and a great way to avoid sore aching feets. Also don't forget to pack your Vessi's cus you really can't escape walking. Thanks @Norma.Geli
Deuce needs less stop and criscross blvd. Route
@lasthumankind unfortunately this is absolutely true.
Perhaps you've been lucky but in my experience - in the summer anyway - the Deuce is often unpleasantly packed.
I really appreciate all of your hard work and thoughtfulness that goes into each video. ❤
I've lived in Vegas for 8 years, sold my car 5 years ago... it's doable, especially if you like walking and biking.
Thanks, Norma!!! Great information! Love that you are always smiling!!! You're the best!
Norma, you are a natural saleswoman! This is a welcome addition to your collection, very informative.
A lot of tips are great! I get around w.o a vehicle. There are Tons of shortcuts thru places to cool down and stay out of the heat if you do choose to walk. Very informative!
Thank you for sharing 😊 This was so helpful & easy to follow! Love all the info( websites, maps, excellent way of breaking it all down) Great job! Will be giving a few of these a try!
Excellent video Norma, it will be so helpful to many visitors to our great city!! It was nice seeing Lydia in ur vid, she’s so sweet!! You both looked fab!🤗💕
I love to research before trips, and this video cut my research down by half, at least. Thank you so much! Very nice work.
Great video!! Some I knew about but there was a couple that were new to me... Your videos are always so thorough!! I'll be coming to Vegas in December and will definitely use these transportation methods. 👍🏾
Excellent video Norma, as always. Thank you for helping us all out with great info
This was a great video! Thanks so much, Norma! Can't wait to visit. This video is very helpful.
I always watch these videos before going to Vegas SO useful. Thanks norma going in December can’t wait
Going to Las Vegas from Colorado in 2 weeks and you have the best videos around here so im watching mostly all of them lol, thanks you are doing great! Porfa sigue así no dejes nunca tus videos y si puedes visitar mas lugares y contarlos a tu estilo seria hermoso, me considero fan ahora.
Yes girl this weather is perfect. I'm not ready for the winter months.
Hi Norma, It’s been awhile but the last time I took a tram was when it went from MGM to Ballys. I’m amazed how many ways there are now to move around. Thanks it will come in handy for Christmas vacation in Vegas this year. Gracias 🙏🏽 👍🏽💛🇨🇱.
My husband and I are going to Vegas for the first time in October and this was super helpful! Thank you!
Great video! We took this last time we were there to get to the skywheel. I miss going to Vegas! Can't wait to go back and use some of the info gained from your videos! Thanks! You're doing a good job!!!!
Norma who is number one on you tube just convinced me to get Vessis! If shes recommends them, they must be the best . I’m sold ! Thanks Norma ! You’re on you way to becoming a movie star next !
I did this 11 years ago when I was poor and staying with friends in Vegas. It's real easy, but off the strip, it's best to get a rental car. Vegas bus drivers are real a-holes off the strip too. I walked a LOT off the strip, even in some places I was told later was pretty unsafe.
Great information about the Vegas Loop, never heard about it until now. Love your channel!
So useful. Thank you Norma, you rock. Great shoes!
Love the vlog, love the out-takes, love Norma's smile!
Thanks :)
Thank you so much for this helpful information and taking the rides so we can see it. I see your links to get the schedules, for our self that’s really sweet of you
thank you so much! i'm gonna take my car to vegas next week and you just showed me what i have to do to AVOID that traffic and not have to worry about the road! i didn't know there was so much traffic!
Finally! Someone who knows I don't need a car in Vegas! Thanks Norma! I should show this video to my friend, who kept telling me to rent a car when I travel including Vegas.
My husband and I love your vegas videos, thanks!
My wife and I are celebrating our anniversary next week in Vegas. We are stoked for the monorail to be open again, and have taken the deuce before. We are staying at the D the last night, so we will get an opportunity to check out the Loop. Thank you for all of your helpful information. We love your videos!
VERY informative ! Thank you Norma !
Thank you Norma for this informative video, as I always use public transportation when visiting Las Vegas, and I appreciate the links below you posted … nice job! Joanna from Canada 🇨🇦
Great video. I loved your transition to your sponsor, so seamless. 10 / 10 would watch again. Keep up the great work.
My boyfriend and I are planning our first trip to Vegas for January. This is extremely helpful! Thanks!
Hey Norma I love your channel ❤️ very informative, me and my wife are coming out to Vegas next weekend for our honeymoon after 12 years , thanks for the info even on how to budget our trip.
Probably the best and most helpful vegas video I’ve seen!! Thank you!
Thank you Norma. I did not know about the LOOP. I was just there last week. You are awesome !
Thanks Norma! We come to Vegas 2 times a year and I have never heard of the Loop. Great info
One of your best video, everyone should watch this very useful. Keep up the great job!!
OMG One of your best videos. Thanks for this. Your hat is so cute.
Headed there this month and definitely going to use these to get around. Great information. Thanks a bunch
These videos have been a big help planning for my trip in week thanks!
I’m going to Las Vegas for the 1st time in almost 20 years for a conference. Since I live in NYC, walking is a must & I don’t own a car since driving is a nightmare. I find this very helpful. Thank you so much. I just with Las Vegas has a more extensive rapid transit system. The monorails & trams seemed not to have adequate coverage of the area.
New to your channel, I’ve been there like three times: I’m glad you show us through Vegas !!!!
Great video- well shot, edited, informative, and most of all a cool story. Nice gear list; thanks for the complete video description; and, or course, sharing the video.
Great tips, love your channel shared it w all my friends who visit Vegas!
Another great video - I have used all of those before except the Loop. I have been to Vegas w/o a car, and used these methods to get around. Also have driven to Vegas, left car in valet for 4 days and used monorail and Deuce to get around. Glad to see you get a sponser, you deserve about 20 more! Keep up the great work!
thank you so much!
Hi Norma, as usual, great video. I hope some people remember in the mid-ninety’s when the CAT buses “hit the road”. Before then, there would only be about four cross-town buses PER DAY!, and three Boulder Highway buses. There was a trolley that stopped at just about all the strip hotels. I would walk, or ride my bike around town. So much better today.
Been watching you're channel a lot since we're relatively still new to Vegas. Just wanted to say hi and that it's good to see other other content for Vegas besides dining.
Love the bloopers at the end!! Great Norma too cute!
Great video Norma! Love your channel
Hi Norma!
This was an outstanding video very very helpful. I just want to thank you for making these videos. They are so important for people that wanna visit Las Vegas or like myself that want to move to Las Vegas thank you thank you thank you. You are awesome.❤
I love the way it smells when it rains in the desert. Thank you for the heads up on the ways to get around Vegas without a car Norma and camera person. Those shoes are going to get Norma into trouble jumping into all the puddles and splashing people lol
Thank you so much for the thorough walk through! I've found a few dated webpages with this info but only as a wall of text. The video makes it much easier to find and get the flow of each option.
Coincidentally I am also trying out the A7C, so I'm glad to see some sample footage
This video is sooooo helpful! We just visited Vegas in July and wish I knew all the options. Ty so much for sharing. Will save this video for my trip in January!
I've been to Las Vegas a half a dozen times and have never rented a car. It is so easy to get around without one. Glad you made this vid.
Thank you :)
Great video Norma, as usual!
This is the first video I pulled up when in Vegas thank you!
Always nice to see your smile
This is a GREAT video Norma! We do take our car to Vegas, but usually it sits at our hotel and we love to use the various transportation you showed except have never done the loop or deuce. I think it’s time to try them. 😊
Hope you can try them out one day!
Norma the magnificent as always...Thanks for the help.
Hi Norma. Very interesting and informative. My favorite four letter word is “Free “. If you want to or are staying in the heart of city, good transportation options and if you don’t want to wear out your Vessis. I usually rent a car to wander away and catch some quiet scenery. On the subject of Rain, you guys (West Coast) and Lake Mead need it. Take care.
Very helpful. Your channel is awesome! Keep up the fantastic videos!
Now this video helps out a lot, Thanks.
Good information, editing, and music! Well done!
I do a lot of walking and live in a major city so I am used to using public transportation instead of driving. I have used most of the options in your video. However, I did not know about the Loop so that was cool to learn about. Thanks for putting this together. I hope more people use the options presented.
I hope so too! Let me know what you think of the Loop if you get to try it
This is one of my favorite Las Vegas videos ever. I am driving to Las Vegas but I will be using the monorail and the shuttle to Fremont Street and the other trams which you showed. Great job Norma, I became an instant expert watching your video.👍
Awesome! I hope it helps you travel around
Norma thank you thank you thank you for all the comprehensive videos about LV.... extremely helpful
I never thought I'd be happy to see an ad lol. Norma is moving up in the world!!!!!
Getting around the Strip/Downtown areas in Las Vegas is becoming more of a hassle, unless you want to pay/tip for valet. Even if you drive to their parking lots, it's still a walk to the casino areas, plus more casinos are charging for parking. For the past few years, I just get a daily bus pass and leave the driving headaches for others.
Great video! Thanks Norma.
My Fridays are always better with a video from Norma
Monorail would have been useful if they had extended to downtown and the airport as in the original plan.
The taxi drivers would not have been too pleased.
Sayhitomatthew brought me here.. definitely will subscribe! Thanks for the comprehensive transport video! I’ll probably just end up walking to Panda Express! 😊🥰
I'm guessing the cab companies, lyft, and Uber may have had a problem with that plan!
@@ericaarseth7678 Plus the REAL taxis.
Yes! That. Also extending toward south of Vegas. Have like a subway system. Serving Goodsprings, Jean, and Prizm Outlets. They can be like part time service. Express parallel on the 15 and you would get a aerial view on the 15.
Thanks for your awesome vids and for Vessi!! Just ordered a pair and can't wait. The Deuce is hilarious at night but can get super packed with the driver having to constantly yell at people to not go up the down stairs, and vice versa which is funny when it's tourists who don't have a great grasp of English..but it's a great way to get from the Strip to Fremont. Have ridden it often over the years.
Great video! Enjoyable and informative from the woman with the greatest smile! Thanks for being a Rockstar
This was super helpful for my trip preparation! Thank you!
I truly love your videos. You two ladies are awesome. I'm looking forward to Vegas in April 24. Hope I see you filming. Blessings.
The bloopers are the best!!!!
Your one of a kind girl, keep it up Love all your content!!
Hi Norma, I just started watching your channel and really am getting great info.
Thank You Norma for that Info. Very helpful.
Great Video, I knew about them all but the Loop. This was very helpful.
Good useful tips on getting around. The only drawback of the monorlal is some of the places where you get off are quite inconvenient. You have quite a walk from the back of these casinos. Some stops, though, are very good - especially at the Westgate which is a bit off-strip but convenient to get to via the monorail. Just my 2 cents. Great video Norma!
Great video...I've taken The Deuce a few times and it's always helpful
CHULA😘 watched your vid collab with ActionKid and u were great! Sending love from New York all day long!!
Always enjoy your videos I love Vegas!!
Your videos are great 👍!!!!! I use to watch "say hi to matthew" but when I found you, you are the best. Thanks so much for your professional videos.💚💚💚💚💚😃
GREAT video Norma.
As someone who's going on their second trip sans car, it's doable. Unless you're doing things way outside the city, Uber and bus will get you by
thanks I have learned a lot watching your videos. coming to Vegas next week
Thank you for doing these videos. I'm going to Vegas tomorrow, and you've put my worries over transportation to rest.
How was it getting around ? Going next month for the first time
@@Jdp313 The Duce was definitely best for getting to Freemont street. Thou keep in mind the drivers will not be lenient towards passengers with expired passes. And is probably not the best choice when you are on a tight schedule. The monorails run like clockwork. And will definitely help if you're sticking to the south side or just need to go a short distance.
Great vid ! Thanks for the info Norma. We've used the tram and I've riden the deuce on and off the strip.
Norma is the cutest most adorable person on UA-cam, and smart too! Keep it up Norma, your parents must be very proud of you
This is really useful info! I knew about some of these - but not all. Thanks!
Thank you so much for this video. It is SO helpful. My husband and I will be going for the first time next month and this is just the info we needed!
Glad it was helpful! :)
Excellent video! Very informative! Thank you!
It's going to be our first time so your videos are very helpful
The Las Vegas monorail brings the MGM in reach of the convention center. Treasure Island - Mirage monorail is great to avoid the heat to transport between properties. The ARIA express to get from Bellagio, Crystals, and Aria, to enjoy Eatly at Park MGM. The Excalibur, Mandalay Bay, and Luxor monorails, help avoid to the heat and minimizes walking to Mandalay Bay. They are free but can be closed at the most convenient time like Sunday and Holidays, you will still do alot of walking.
