I hated school and did not graduate from high school. It was the gospel that taught me about the excitement and even joy of learning. Elder Bednar's insights are Wonderful and can be felt. Today I would have been a college graduate.

@@LCmonmanit changed my life becuase I kinda had a faith crisis about how the church has 100 billion dollars and could quite literally end world hunger tomorrow but doesn't. It makes sense now! They are saving there money because times are going to be hard... just look at the stock market things are not good. Times are getting worse. And just like the Egyptians they put a side food for hard times. It makes sense now

This showed up on my feed so I decided to listen. Thoroughly enjoyed “learning” from this interview! I just became 79 years old and, I too, love to learn. The older I get, the more I know how much I don’t know. I compare myself to a small ant living in an unknown space just walking around, eating, sleeping (when I can sleep), and doing what I was put on earth to do- learn! Most recently, I’m learning how to love unconditionally, my family, friends, and strangers I see for just a few minutes of my life. Thank you!

If you haven't learned that the cult of mormonism is a 100% fake manmade fraud, then you have learned nothing in your 79 years. This is an abomination. Repent, and LEARN what the truth of the Bible actually is!

I am a 62 year old tech guy and have ascribed to the philosophy of learning to learn. I have not come across an issue in my tech life that could not be solved by learning learn. What you and all mormons need to learn is what the truth and Christianity of the Bible actually is. Mormonism has nothing whatsoever to do with the Jesus, nor the Christianity of the Bible.

@@exposingfakechristianity5556only response that I can give that means anything; is instead of leaning upon other's experiences such as the witnesses of the Bible, seek out those experiences with God for yourself. Because, just think about it: where did these records in the Bible come from?
They come from God to people who actually experienced it.
The people of the Bible are real people. They had real experiences. And God wants you to both know that they did have them, & He wants us to act in Faith that we too may experience the same results.
So in summary, the scriptures are a template. An equation. If this happens then this is the result.
God invites us to participate in the equations He provided.
I'll borrow a statement paraphrased from this video: love to learn, by discovery.
When God is the one teaching you, discovery is on a whole new level.
So; As Mathew 7 says: Ask God. Seek God. Knock unto God. And as James 1 says: ask your questions and with God, you will find them in Him. (In His Due Time.)
      Good luck.
I can honestly say this, and do so in love.
I've experimented on the Bible and based my finding on both the scriptures and the witness from God.
I hope you and everyone does the same.
No matter the result of an honest trial of this course action, will eventually lead us all to Christ. And from Christ to The Father.
      Edit;
FYI, I realize I didn't make it clear in this commentary: I am a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints. I use the same course of faithful action upon all scripture: The Book of Mormon Another Testament of Jesus Christ, The Holy Bible, The pearl of Great Price, and The Doctrine and Covenants. & Speakers of God throughout all time, callings, authority that God puts forth, all Doctrine, etc.
Sometimes my understanding taken to God gets denied or forgotten. Other times it gets verified or reinforced. This can be experienced via The Holy Spirit of Truth, the Love and Mercy of Jesus Christ, & the Love and Power and Justice of The Father.

After I could see that elder bedner was going to be on the show. I thought I would watch a little bit and go about my day and watch the rest later. But that didn't happen. I was glued to the screen and it was very interesting. And a learning opportunity to watch these two discuss reality. Elder bednor
Has so much information stored in that brain of his. It is a blessing to just listen to him talk about the Lord and many other things. That's why I love to listen to the apostles speak because they are so intelligent with the gospel of Jesus Christ and His teachings.
You always learn something from them. It's really too bad that the other Christian churches don't watch this type of program. It would truly benefit them and their congregation.

I was interested in Elder Bednar's comments regarding the miraculous successes because so much of the church work is done by volunteers. For the last five years, I have been serving as a full-time volunteer in several different positions -- four of them -- in two areas outside of the United States. All I can say after this experience, is "Thank goodness for the volunteers!" Without too many exceptions, the volunteers accomplish much more on a daily basis than their employee counterparts.

    My two favorite comments:
    11:32
“Education is a key that opens the door to growth and opportunity…. [Education] is learning to love learning…. The goal is … to learn how to love learning so when you have no idea about what to do, you can figure out what to do….
When you don’t know what to do, can you ask the questions, can you dig and research and come to know what you need to do? That’s what education is.”
    14:54
Ryan Smith, “I don’t know what I’m doing. I don’t know what the goal is right now.”
Elder Bednar, “Which is the goal of education. See, when you learn how to learn and you love learning how to learn, those are the very places where you get the greatest excitement because it’s uncharted territory. Let’s go! We gotta figure this out.”

Didn't he though. The Lord changes people from the inside out. That is the answer. You call unqualified people and surround them by people who are, and what better person than Christ, and let them grow into their responsibilities. The church calls individuals based on who they can become (not what a resume says they are now). After they are changed and find meaning in the work, they motivate themselves.
