The perfect time machine from 2007, I would buy this bike over any brand new 4 stroke 450 anyday 💪👍🔥 !!!!!!!
You would be dumb if u do buy this for pleasure. This bike is only a garage classic talk piece. If you ride it an get it dirty an scratches/broken, it will not be in the same mint condition therefore wouldn't be worth half as much of what he is asking. At least on a brand new 4t you can go play and have fun wich is the whole purpose.

@@johnpena9165 I'm almost 50 an also ridden/race 2t in late 80s/early 90s. Yes the fact this bike is mint an way more fun factor then 4t but everyone says they would buy this bike over a new 4t but nobody has. Their are several mint condition 2t for sale across US. I've owned an race kx500 2t an still would eat up alot of these 4t but it dont change the fact that this bike will depreciate tremendously if someone buys it an rides it like its supposed to be ridden...#just a garage piece trophy as I said

@@kylelangworthy9641 I agree! Heck yea! Buy it and ride the crap out of it. I'm almost 50 and grew up on big powerful 2t. I've raced kx500 and cr500. I definitely would not let it sit if I was interested but I personally would just buy a 2021 brand new YZ250 2t just bc it most likely would be cheaper then the kx250 2t at the auction. Those guys are into making money and I as well is in the flipping business. I'm positive they will NOT let the bike go for less money then they have into it. Trust me, if so it's all business marketing along with scamming. I've been doing this most of my life an that's why I just chuckle when I see these type of videos. I've also raced kx250 2t and cr 250 2t in the 90s and they are very fun playful bikes! #good luck and enjoy your toy if you buy it. Will be awesome
You know when I was a kid I remember hearing those sounds coming through the woods on a Friday after school running to my 250R to fire it up and we would all head down the railroad tracks to the rock quarries and ride all weekend long. A crew of kids picking up more machines along the way. We would rip through the neighborhoods in force. All kinds of machines all kinds of sounds and smells. And no one cared or called the cops. We were just being kids. What a magical time.😊 kids today just don't have any clue how great it was to grow up as a kid in the 80s. I had more freedom of will, of thought, of mind, and speech when I was a kid then I do now.🙁

I love this entire post!!! Grew up the exact same way in Methuen Ma. Riding on trails anywhere and everywhere,sand pits, streets,didn't matter! The 80's just didn't care. All the best toys were around and everyone had something. Atc's,odyssey's, the coolest looking gear,helmets. It was just soo great! Thank GOD I was there to experience it. I was young,but there. My 85 yz80. My poor kids will just never know😑

That is quite a specimen of a pristine classic KX 250.
I am not all too familiar with the minutae of that 2007 year end production run model but it is clearly in a time warp.
I`m holding a 2003 KX 250M with a Pro-Circuit Platinum Pipe,..(go USA!),...and it has been only started for about 20 minutes in its lifetime operation to jet for that Pro-Circuit Pipe.
That is it,...everything is as it was in 2003-
I think the owner had purchased it in December of that year, then he stopped racing bikes to do other things and the bike was never put into use.
It was supposed to be his new racing bike, but he fell on his old bike on that "last ride"....those are always the rides that are the last rides I suppose for some people. The cool thing is that situation preserved the 2003 bike, just like yours,.....in a time warp.
When you see a bike with no time on it,..it stands out in the details.
That 2003 KX 250M sat for 17 years inside.
It is an example that validates the level of aesthetic quality of your model,...VERY RARELY do they come like that when one finds them,IF they find them at all....so you are 100% correct,
....unobtainable,....and very very rare. STUNNING EXAMPLE,....
( I was typing that when you said that..lol)
You could not be any more accurate in describing that bike.
I`m going to say that after looking at your 2007 KX it does have some substantial performance upgrades both factory and added...that chain is amazing, I had nothing to compare my KX to as far as that level of clear detail,...so this video is VERY IMPORTANT to my efforts (Thank You!)
The 2003 will proudly hit the dirt soon enough,..it deserves a life,....and I know that is why you do everything that you do. To keep these bikes alive,...it takes a visionary,...that would be YOU.
Your facility, with the shop, purchasing efforts, THAT Museum!!, and how you impart passion and responsible stewardship of these great machines is a very rare and noble undertaking that you do,...it is an incredible contribution to Motorcyling and the people who love those bikes....you are a History Icon. I`ll be up there eventually,....DAMN! that 2007 KX though!! Tell Mario to take a number!!! AHHhhhhh!!!! My bike needs a friend.

I prefer the fat sound of the pro circuit chambers vs the pingy FMF. Wish PC would consider producing another run of pipes for the still-popular KDX200/220Rs.

I was literally thinking about running from the po po on my only kawasaki kx I ever owned...lol... it was a 84 kx250... I was 14... out ripping somewhere I'd never been before... back in 84 where I grew up... there was old strip mines all around me literally everywhere.. for miles.. but they were spread out and you had to road hop for a few miles... and I just popped out of a new area... and boom... a state highway patrol 🚓 is on me.... and of course... I panicked..... heart jumped instantly into my throat... but I just cracked it... smh.... it was totally wrong.... but I know the area... plus all country dirt roads and trails into the woods everywhere..... I literally left him in the dust.... I was gone.... lol...

I had this same bike. The front end pushed so bad compared to my 05 RM250, that I didn't keep it very long. Ended up with a KDX 200 a few years later which handled like a razor in the woods. Definitely a good looking bike...

My 03 rm 250 was this nice wen I got it all original got it form the first owner of my bike the frame did have the paint worn yet on the sides love it it is now because I ride it but and also mine wasn’t Touch up on the side but it worn like said now it’s still mint

Man what a beauty.....ive ridden one of these before and i think the new frame geometry was much better than the critics let on..it was still a perimeter frame but trimmed and tucked and refined and to me..the chassiS felt like an rm and could make directional changes seem 2wice as sharp as the old perimeter frame that first debued in 1990 as a machine absolutely ahead of its time in both cosmetic appearance and the r and d engineering prowess of the kawasaki developers.....neways only thing i heard that was negatrive was a somewhat persnickety clutch that didnt hold up to much abuse and suffred from fade and swelling but the motor was so powerful u really didnt need to nip at the clutch to get in in the power...just roll on the throttle in your desired gear and just twist...instant power and no waiting for motor to spool up like an ole honda does...........a swap out with a hinson basket and clutch pack and a magura hydro clutch and clutch became great again!!!....
Oh and i dont know if this is a con or pro, gues it depends on type of rider and riding style, that THIS MOYOR WAS TOO SNAPPY AND POWERFUL OFF THE LINE and one hard twist of the throttle in any gear would break that rear end loose and squirrel around for a bit until settling into the static sag position.........
ive even heard pros say that in right hands this 250 stock 07 lined up agaisnt any stock kx500 and the 250 can absolutely out pace the 500 w right gearing and expereienced rider....
Not the easiest bike to manage due to that omni potent motor...but if you dialed in the suspension for your specs and bike launced flawlessly from a start.....
this 2007 kawi has arguably the MOST POWERFUL 250 2 STROKE MOTOR EVER DESIGNED.. SNAPPY AS A 500 and just as fast, like KEN SENIOR SAYS,

Actually my comment below may be a bit off since i forgot i was talking about thw 2006 model and not 2007... i would think the differences should be few and far between but you never know as for example the 1985 cr250 being torqy but slow and lackkluster suspension while in 86 the production rule motivated the enginneers to design a better bike and better bike they did seeing the 85 and 86 looked similar but the real diffrences was in the first year of cartridge forks in which honda nailed it as far as stock settings and build as well as a whole new powervalve system which did away with the ATAC RESINATOR TYPE....and in place of that the HPP motor was introduced as a varible timing mechanism for exhauset that aided bottom end greatly so they could tune the rest of the motor for top end performance without sacrificing peak useable power...and this motor was electric and linear with no huge hit but steady building hi powered performance made it the fastest and best suspended bike of 1986 by a LONGSHOT....THE 86 crs blew away the competition and were eons ahead of the other manufacturers as far as design...so just saying how looks can be deceiving and more often than not its whats on the inside that counts in 80s motocross....
